Does anyone here play airsoft? I have gotten into it a lot more over the past year, and I was thinking it would be cool to have a thread where everyone could say what guns they have. Currently, I own: - Crosman AEG R71 Pulse Rifle (automatic) - DE pump-action shell shotgun (single fire) - Walther spring powered P99 Right now, I am thinking of saving up for an Echo 1 or JG (Jing Gong) M4 Carbine. any thoughts or recommendations?

Christopher Nolan's Inception
Commander Assassin replied to Commander Assassin's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Putting pieces together, I am pretty sure that a security officer (DiCaprio) is drugging up tycoons and goes into their dream to find out how they got so much money. That's just an idea though. -
Nice review! One question though: do you just flick the lightsaber for it to be released, or is there a releasing mechanism?

BrickArms 2010 WWII
Commander Assassin replied to the enigma that is badger's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Just what I was hoping you'd say! I love these weapons, and I'm especially happy for the ppsh! One question though, is the custom StG44 included in the German Heer Soldier just a normal Vampir with the scope and light cut off with an x-acto knife, or was it customized differently? -
Christopher Nolan is releasing a movie this summer titled "Inception". There is not much known about the story, all I know is what I found in this L.A. Times article online. From what I read, it sounds someting like The Matrix. It also star Leonardo DiCaprio. You can find the trailer here, on the movie's website. And here's the IMDB article. EDIT: Trailer 2. This one gives us more of the plot. Link to 49 Inception pictures on IMDB. A few new posters included.

Review - the minifigs from 8097 Slave 1
Commander Assassin replied to CopMike's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I love these! I can see myself using a lot of those Boba heads for replacement parts from the creepy faced CW troopers. I love the carbonite mold, though it would be nice for a back piece to cover up Solo's backside. Bossk turned out alright, but I do wish it was tan. Nice job CopMike, and I can't wait to see the Slave I review! -

I honestly did not mind the inaccuracies, as I thought the film was good, even after reading the original myth. I can assure you that 2d is the way to see it with, as dragonboy said, 3d makes the people look like cardboard cutouts. And, it had enough story for me, but that might have been since I knew what was going on after reading the story.

MOC: A Tribute to the Toa

These are amazing! Lego should have released these instead of their all-stars or whatever they're called! Really though, I'm not even a Bionicle fan and I love these! -
What was the last movie you watched?
Commander Assassin replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Somebody agrees with me! That's one of my favorite movies! Anyway, I got back from Clash of the Titans, and it was amazing! Medusa looked weird though; she was more snake than human! The Kraken was way better than the one in Dead Man's Chest, because this one had a head with teeth. Surprised I wasn't blinded by Zeus' (Liam Neeson's) body armor, it was too bright for my taste. -
IMO, I think It'd be great if they devoted a few episodes to Tag and Bink. Their comic was hilarious!

"I AM THE CLAW" "The Craw?" "THE CLAW!" Seriously though, I know how you feel. I own the first and second seasons, and compared to those, the movie is terrible.

I saw the Halo Legends DVD, and I was disappointed except for the last episode, "The Package" which was amazing! I hope that they will release another DVD with all CGI episodes.

Favorite Summer Blockbuster Movies/Franchises?
Commander Assassin replied to FilmGirl27's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I'm looking forward to Clash of the Titans, Prince of Persia, and Inception. This looks like a much summer than last year! -
I remember back in 2005 they had grab bags at the Lego store in Chicago, IL, but some were themed! I don't remember all of them, but I know for sure that they had a Bionicle one that had a couple masks and various arms, legs and bodies. It reminded me of this, but every bag was different.

great figs, and one of my very favorite movies -
I read [and collect] 60s Batman comics, but I also like to read 60s superman and fantastic four. As far as comic strips I read Calvin and Hobbes, Garfield, Herman, Far Side, and Get Fuzzy. I also enjoy Star Wars: KOTOR, Star Wars: CW, and Star Wars: Empire.
