  1. Thanks everbody! I have thought about that and I might make one in the future, but for now I am pretty happy with what I have come up with even if they don't look as good as they could if I used a lighting box.
  2. I'm not too excited about Catwoman joining the scene because I feel it will ruin the story if Batman has a love interest. Oh well, Nolan will probably outdo himself again and I'll look like an idiot saying the story won't be perfect.
  3. Second BW to attend, first BW to register! Already booked the hotel and going to register soon. Just one question: will there be goody bags given out to the people who pay the full registration, and if so will everyone get one, or only the first [insert #]?
  4. Any more c and c would be much appreciated. Thanks!
  5. Just read all 8 pages and this is hilarious! I think I will vote for Jammie and tie it all up.
  6. I like this minifig especially for its pants. It's a shame this is the only set with them. Nice review though.
  7. I'm not too happy about the new space theme, it just looks like a repeat of UFO. I thought Space Police was good enough. The other stuff looked pretty good though. I will be looking forward to seeing the PotC sets.
  8. Thanks! I do suggest you order some because they are made with ABS plastic which is the same as Lego.
  9. To start out the review here is pic of my recent order of Brickarms: [half of these are for a friend] I was very happy with the shipping time and the packaging. Here is my entire BA collection. Will Chapman, who makes Brickarms, does an excellent job making them as high quality like Lego as he can. M4 Carbine, M203, and U-Clip M4: 9/10 Great design, Will did a great job on this but it doesn't have as much detail as his newer products. Still one of my favorite guns M203: 8/10 Will also did a great job on this but when you mount it under a gun it hangs a little low rather than directly under the barrel like the real thing. U-Clip: 7.5/10 Will came up with the u-clip which now other custom weapon suppliers are trying to copy. An amazing design but sometimes the clip is a little loose and the plastic can break off if you try to tighten it by squeezing the sides together to tighten it. Still a great piece. M1917 M1917: 10/10 Looks just like the real thing. Not much else to say other than it has a trigger which is a plus for me. MGL and Monopod MGL: 10/10 A great weapon that is very detailed and has removable drum. Monopod: 8/10 Same problems as the U-Clip but I love using it as a foregrip. M1 Garand, Ammo Clip, and M1 Steel Pot M1 Garand: 10/10 Looks like the real thing plus it is in brown which is great because the M1 Carbine isn't. Ammo Clip: 10/10 It's simple and it works. Not much more to say about this one. M1 Steel Pot: 8/10 Great color but covers the eyebrows when pushed all the way down on the head. However, you can rest it a little above if you don't push all the way down AK-47 and Longslide Pistol AK-47: 9/10 Great job making it look like the original but, just like the M4, it lacks some of that detail that it would get now if Will designed it today. All in all a great gun. Longslide: 9/10 I have MODed mine to make it look like a Desert Eagle which is great because all you have to do is cut off the scope. 9/10 because you can't buy it without the scope. Space Assault Rifle and Space Magnum SAR: 9.5/10 Looks a lot like the ones in HALO. Coincidence?? ;) SM: 9.5/10 ^ Same as above ^ Energy Pistols Energy Pistols: 10/10 Looks great in solid purple and you don't have to pay $20 for the premium version. Combat PDW and Combat Shotgun PDW: 8.5/10 Obviously the P90 which Will based this weapon on doesn't have a pistol grip, but there's no way you can design a grippable P90 for a minifig with the same kind of grip. Also, the size of the weapon is about the right size in ratio to a minifig, but lego guns have always seemed to be on the larger size in comparison, so the PDW doesn't always fit in next to other Lego guns. Combat Shotgun: 9/10 Great looking gun by itself, but it looks awkward for a minifig to hold a shotgun without two hands. PSG-1 Sniper Rifle PSG-1: 9/10 Will got all the detail of this weapon down but it doesn't have the glossy finish of newer weapons and the grip is a little loose in a minifig hand. Heavy Space Rifle and Machette HSR: 9/10 Great job on the weapon, I don't know exactly what the original gun looked like, but as far as I know it's pretty accurate to the design of the one in GoW. Great for mounting stuff underneath the barrel with a U-Clip. Machete: 10/10 Another simple design that was perfectly executed. M1 Bazooka and M6 Rocket Bazooka: 9.5/10 Looks great but could use a drilled out core. I guess I could always do it myself, but It'd be nice if they came that way. M6 Rocket: 10/10 Looks just like the rounds used in the Bazooka during WW2. Not much else to say. Silenced Spy Pistol Silenced Spy Pistol: 10/10 Looks just like what I would expect. RPG RPG: 7/10 Looks more like a Panzerfaust than a RPG. [This was supposed to double as both] I would like to see Will make a BA Reborn of the RPG-7. MG-42 and Stahlhelm MG-42: 10/10 I love this weapon and I'm very happy Will surprised us with and ammo drum! Stahlhelm: 9/10 Looks great on minifigs except it seems just a bit shorter and stockier than it should. PPsh and Modern Combat Helmet PPsh: 10/10 Just like the U-Clip and Monopod, the drum is a bit loose on the gun if you take it on and off. Other than that it's great! MCH: 9/10 Perfect except it is a little tight on minifig heads. Freebies! [Green RPG and Christmas Camoized Combat Shotgun and M21 Sniper] Freebies: 10/10 Perfect because they're free!! Thank you Will!! Hope you enjoyed my review! EDIT: Here's a link to my flickr. Teaser: Look out Gotham... Batman has Brickarms!
  10. Picked up Gran Turismo 5 last Monday, would have to agree with most of what Roncanator said. The biggest letdown for me was how much it was like GT 4. With games like MW 1 and MW2 they can be really different because they have a different story, but with games like GT 5, you're pretty much picking up the updated version of its predecessor. I guess that's what I should have been expecting, but I would have enjoyed a few more things different other than just more cars and tracks. Even with that being said I thoroughly enjoy it and recommend it to anyone who interested in a realistic racing game. [No cops chasing you, no bombs you can throw at people]
  11. LOL, a secret brail system! I think TLG should just make them in see-through polybags!
  12. SOCOM Fireteam Bravo 3 is the best PSP game hands down. Fireteam Bravo 2 is also pretty good. And no, I'm not just a SOCOM fanboy. They include a lot more in their games than a quick campaign like Call of Duty: Roads to Victory. SOCOM has an amazing campaign, great online multiplayer, and also includes online co-op missions and custom missions. Your right about wanting the Battlefront games though, they're great too. The campaign is fun and so is Galactic Conquest. However, the 3rd person controls aren't as good as the 1st person that BF 2 had, and the online isn't that great, but the games is definitely worth it.
  13. Right here. Its not confirmed that he will be the villain, but I think its safe to assume that.
  14. I would be surprised if these titles are real because a month or two ago Lego Batman 2 was on the same page but now its deleted from the list.
  15. It's been confirmed that Tom Hardy [who played Eames in Inception] will be the villain in TDKR. I will interested to see if he ends up being Killer Croc or not.
  16. Roncanator is right, you don't need HD. I play my ps3 on a small non-HD TV. However, for some games it is hard to read the words because they appear blurry. [i experienced this with MAG and the ModNation demo]
  17. Gran Turismo 5?? If so I'm pretty sure it's still set for a November 2nd release.
  18. DC Universe Online for PS3 release date has been put back. DC Online, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, and SOCOM 4 all are scheduled to release March 31.
  19. I liked the demo a lot, the mind trick was my favorite addition.
  20. 1. Ep. III Commander Cody 2. Clone Assassin 3. Clone Commando Scorch 4. Starkiller in Sith Stalker armor
  21. I can't say that I remember everything about the story, but I do remember that I wasn't disappointed.
  22. I don't know about the Clank game, but R&C: Size Matters is in my opinion just as good as any other R&C game.
  23. Don't most of the other R&C games have innuendo in them?? i.e. Up your Arsenal, Size Matters, Going Commando. I guess 4 play is a little much though, I see your point. Blockbuster went out of business. (at least where I live) I haven't the faintest idea what your other method is though. Thanks! I'll keep that in mind.
  24. I did play Ratchet: Deadlocked, I am not sconfused about the multiplayer, I'm just confused about the name. It does not seem to go with the other names of the R&C games. By the way, I just got one of the new 160gb PS3 slims. I bought Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction as my first game. I want to get either 007: Quantum of Solace or Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 next, any suggestions on which one I should pick up first??
