Thanks! Yea, I have managed to get all of the SPIII aliens except for Slizer. Part of the difficulty of building apocalypse-themed buildings is trying to get it to look dirty, but not too messy.

I have been working on this MOC for a little less than a year. I know it's not the biggest apocatown ever, but my time with Lego is limited. Anyways, here goes. Warehouse The Skull Twins have crashed into an abandoned warehouse, and are met with bullets as they climb out of their cockpit only to find two SEALs firing automatic weapons and launching grenades at them. Meanwhile, Frenzy has managed to climb to the rotted roof where he eyes a Resistance Trooper looking down the sights of his machine gun. The kindhearted zombie quietly devours his turkey leg while hiding from the gunfire. Small Building The Resistance Trooper was just about ready to launch his RPG at the Skull Twin's ship when Snake and Squidman sneak up behind him with death in their eyes. He pulls out his machette, hoping he can defend himself long enough for someone to see him and come to help. Resistance HQ A Resistance Trooper cleans out his shotgun when he hears a crash. Kranxx leaps out of his speeder and starts firing his spce blaster. A SEAL on top fires out of a turret at Frenzy. The complete ApocaTown Here's a link to the minifigs used in my town. Here's a link to my flickr set. Hope you liked it!

Brickarms - The Showdown

That RPG is really a Panzerfaust prototype. And the other gun is a Heavy Space Rifle. -
This also was my first Brickworld. I had a great time seeing all of the big MOCs that I had seen online. One of my favorites was the Indiana Jones Brick Adventures diorama. I also like Wayne Manor. The NILTC layout was hilarious! I loved the Dunkin Donuts truck and the Krispy Kreme truck accident! I bought several Brickarms, including some of the pre-releases. The Brickforge S.W.A.T. gear was great too! I bought two collectible minifigs: the Zombie and the Cowboy. Thanks Barcode Lady! Here's everything I bought at Brickworld!

Brickarms - The Showdown
Commander Assassin replied to KimT's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
You sure are lucky to get your hands on the minifigs, they were convention exclusives!!! If you are expanding your horizons (purist wise) I recommend The Little Arms Shop for all of your SW minifigs needs. Brickarms are great though, I have made two orders so far, and they all shipped quickly and were top-notch quality. -
Can't wait to go this year! I am not able to join you guys on Thursday, but I am planning to stay for the public hours on Saturday. I cannot wait to check out the fantastic MOCs you guys will be bringing! And, of course, I cannot wait to stop by the Brickarms booth to pick up some pre-releases.

Christopher Nolan's Inception
Commander Assassin replied to Commander Assassin's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Disney's The Sorcerer's Apprentice was scheduled for the same release date as Inception, but Disney got scared and wanted a sooner release. It was too late to change it a week ahead, so Apprentice will come out Wednesday instead of Friday. -
Oh I do hope for the return of Lego Batman! I believed that it was the fall that the videogame came out that I realized I had only purchased one Batman set! I will cross my fingers for clayface, man-bat, and the mad hatter!

Great MOC lego-maniac! I love all of the detail that you put into it! (the stuff TLG would leave out) -
Future Lego Video Games
Commander Assassin replied to Commander Assassin's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I just thought of how much fun it would be to have a Lego Ratchet and Clank game. After playing that game for a while, I realized how much it is similar to the Lego games. (especially the bolts in the place for studs) I also think it wouldn't be too violent for kids as now, all of the ratchet games are E10+. -
LEGO Star Wars 2010 Pictures and Rumors

Like he said, it was listed as a normal clone trooper in the CTT. He called him Cody because that is what he is called in the video game. -

Brickworld 2010...coming right up
Commander Assassin replied to BrickworldBryan's topic in Brickworld
I'm looking forward to attending my first Brickworld during the public day. I am anxious to see everyone's MOCs along with my sig-fig at Stash's display. I also can't wait to swing by the Brickmania booth to see what Will has up his sleeves for Brickarms at Brickworld! (I wouldn't mind another Cyborg Infiltrator minifig!) -
There are no semi-auto spring pistols, and they don't shoot too far, so that rules out spring. I do not know much about electric pistols, other than that they do not rank high in customer satisfaction. That only leaves gas. Gas pistol shoot far, and they are semi-auto, but their price is higher, plus you have to buy the gas. Another option is CO2. that is my personal favorite because it shoots far, it is usually semi-auto, and they are a little cheaper than gas pistols. You still have to buy the CO2 capsules, but they are cheaper than a can of gas. Does that answer your question? Also, depending on where you live you can find CO2 guns for a fraction of the price than if you bought it off of an online website exclusive to airsoft (i.e. airsoftmegastore). If you live in the USA, I suggest shopping online at either Dunham's or even Amazon. Do you happen to know the brand of your M4 and the fps? Thanks.

I did a quick search, and I didn't find anything, so I thought this forum would be a good place to post my question: How do you receive a country flag tag? I noticed most moderators have them, but are they the only ones?

I've never used an airsoft tank before. Do you know how fast it shot? (fps)

Christopher Nolan's Inception
Commander Assassin replied to Commander Assassin's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Just some updated news: Inception will be rated PG-13 for violence and action throughout Inception not only stars DiCaprio, but Alfred and Scarecrow from batman Begins play roles in the movie. Christopher Nolan has been writing the story since he was 14. Plot: (as far as I know) Again, that is only what I have learned from watching all the trailers. -
