  1. Oh yes, I do. I actually think that their bley is fairly accurate. I compared it to the original dk. gray, and it seemed, well, just real different.
  2. I am planning to go to Brickworld 2010, which will be my first Lego convention. However, I am only planning on being there during the public hours on saturday, as I don't think that my apocatown MOC will be done by then. (what can I say, I'm a perfectionist! )
  3. I don't really mind these Ben 10 sets. With no new minifigs to gawk on, I will have more money for SW and PoP.
  4. Wow! I love the looks of this theme! After seeing the figs, to me it was another 'meh', but now seeing clear pics of one of the sets, I really like it! I am looking forward to seeing pics of some of the other sets. (Ostrich races?! ) Also, does anyone know where these pics were took?
  5. This theme doesn't do much for me, Other than the ruins, I will not get another set, unless there is one for $10 USD with some new fig or piece.
  6. I like the design of the new Tri-Fighter better than the old one we got in 2005, (Bigger is better! ) but I will hold off with this one until I find out if it will be more than $20 USD. I can not wait until we see clearer pics of the ARC-170. For me, that is a must since I refused to buy the old one. (I already had an army of Phase II pilots!) I am also very interested in seeing clearer pics of the Defender. I am hoping for a new TIE pilot, presumably with a new air-hose piece to be used with the new Phase II pilots!
  7. I meant more off than other custom lego products I have received. Especially the dark grey. Overall, great quality, except for the packaging. There must have been a heavy package on top of the bubble mailer, because one of my sets of armor has a crack in it and the other has several stress marks... Other than that, I am greatly pleased, especially with the free weapons and the Battle Helmets.
  8. I received my Brickforge order yesterday. I am quite pleased with them except that all of my helmets are tight, and the color is more off than I have seen with my products that I have bought on other custom Lego sites... The biggest plus is that I received two free weapons with my order!
  9. I would be more than happy to have PaB in TRU! The reason be is that there is not one Lego store in Michigan! The only time I get to go to a Lego store is once or twice a year, driving 4 hours down to the Chicago location. Even though the nearest TRU is about a 1/2 hour away, it would be a whole lot easier to drive there.
  10. I quote Inconspicuos: Nice job Inconspicuous! Keep up the good work!
  11. I would love that!!
  12. I believe there our only about three of us or so who think that still... The rest of us have been trying to prove that wrong (and I think we almost have!)
  13. Actually I pointed that out a page back! Also, I found out that it seems that the normal versions of each minifig is also available in those sets.
  14. Oh! I hadn't thought about that possibility! I had just assumed that it was Zurg since I saw the minifig on the side of the box and I couldn't find him on the cover...
  15. I am pretty sure that Zurg is holding Zurg! I think that the yellow you see is his mouth.
  16. I agree. If there was a Garindan in the set, than I am sure that they would place him in a more noticeable place on the box, as that would be the reason a lot of people would buy the set. Also, if there was a Garindan in the set, I am sure that Baby would have passed the info to us by now.
  17. I am just wondering if it is official if Lego is renewing their SW license. Also, I am wondering if it is official that Lego is ending the IJ license. I have found rumors of both, but nothing confirmed as far as I know...
  18. does anyone know why the LGAs are released in both of the KK2-like sets with Buzz and Zurg?
  19. Great review Ben! Although I will not be purchasing this set, I am sure that KimT is overjoyed to finally see a review. Keep up the good work!
  20. You are right. The Defender was first used when Renegade Squadron storms an Imperial Star destroyer to rescue Ackbar before the Battle of Endor.
  21. Nice work! I loved those Redwall books! I can't wait to see the Abbey!
  22. No, I think the question is "Why in the blasted world would you not care if the visors are printed or not?!" Although, I have to admit that I will get the ARC no matter what, even if the are printed on. I am just hoping the pleasure it would make a lot of people feel is a nice enough reason for TLC to make plastic trans-neon orange visors for the Phase II pilots.
  23. For the ARC, or of an up close phase II pilot? There is no up close pic (yet), but there has been some speculation on the visors because we could not see any trans-neon orange in the prelim picture.
  24. How can you think about TIEs and Freecos, when we may have a crisis upon us! Why just the thought of having printed visors on the Phase II pilots! Although I do agree. They are awesome. Although, I will have to wait and see if the price tag for the Defender is under $50 USD before I would think about buying it.
  25. I hope not! I have been waiting ever since RotS to get a Phase II pilot with the trans-neon orange visor! If they make it printed, the chances are even lower that TLC will ever make one, as they would use the printed one over and over!
