I actually quite doubt that there is only four next year. It just doesn't make sense for there to only be four, so I really think that putting only four on Amazon was just a mistake. I could be wrong, though, but remember that those set names were ALSO a leak, so there no real telling again. ;-)

I've wondered for quite some time why you think the Bohrok legs are crud, Jinzo. I've seen people use them fine before. I really think its more that your building style is so unlike almost everybody elses (not meant as a putdown. Your bulding style is awesome. ;-) ). Toa Tilus, it seems that you are overreacting a bit. I mean, how many kits do you see there? That's right, 3. How can you be so sure that the missing 3 are going to be exactly like those 3? They could be totally different, since we don't know anything about them! Another thing: Don't you realize that this is the first time ever that we have 2 small kits in the same year that look nothing like each other? Morak is so different from the other 2, which makes me partly jump up for joy! Why? Because this could mean that there are more different small sets besides Morak. Now, don't get me wrong, but I'm afraid your basing your comment on just those 2 matoran, that so far, are the only 2007 clone sets we know of. They could be prototypes for all we know! But even if they aren't, I and probably many other people would get both of them just for the awesome masks and weapons. Since when have we had a light green or yellow mask? Not since 2003 and 2001. I'm not trying to say you're dumb or anything (learned my lesson a while ago). I'm just saying you should give TLC a chance. I'm also saying that you may be feeling this way about Bionicle because you're feeling this way about everything! To quote you,"2007 is looking a bit bleak for me." You can feel that way if you want, nobody can stop you, nor should have a right to, but if I were you, I'd be a bit more optomistic. ;-) Edit: BZP had the pictures up for about a half an hour, then took them down just now. Seems we are dealing with more leaks....

Bridge Walker vs White Lightning now on Amazon!
Zarkan replied to dillthepill's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
I'm probably not going to get it, as I have about a zillion other items on my list of wants. Striking Venom is more of a priority for me, although Bridge Walker is still an awesome kit. Thanks for the info. ;-) -
Yeah, I saw that. It's great that we'll finally have a wargaming system for at least one year of Bionicle. Can't wait to see it! ;-)

:-D That's great. You should have also changed the MC-D's slogan to "I'm Hatin' It." X-D

Hm, let me see.. Supernova compared to Grand Titan would come out as: Speed: Slower Armor: A bit more Armament: Much more Silent Strike compared to Stealth Hunter would come out as: Speed: Slower Armor: More Armament: More Supernova to me is just a much more powerful Grand Titan with about the same armor, and Silent Strike is a grand Titan with wings and more rockets. ;-)

Can anyone tell me why Takeshi only use Supernova once?)
Zarkan replied to jeffrey's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Exactly what I was going to say. Supernova may be powerful, but it probably takes an enormus amount of power, thus requiring it to be used only in desperate times. That, of course, brings up the argument of why Takeshi is back in the Grand Titan when SV strikes. Well, you must remember that we now know there are way more than 4 pilots on Sentai Mountain, even though the main story only focuses on those 4. One of those unshown pilots was piloting the Supernova when comic 18 ended, if you look closely. That answer your question? ;-) Edit: And for those who are wondering, I don't think the Exo-force comic is half-bad. It's much better than it was in Januarry, and there is a logical explination for almost everything the characters say and do. I kind of like that the comic stretches your brain and makes you think about "why did that happen?", and doesn't go into long boring detail about the explination. I mean, it's a comic after all! X-D If you think, you can even explain the destruction of Bridge Walker fairly easily. ;-) -
Here's a poll about all the other vehicles of Exo-Force. My choices are R-1 Robot Rammer (a great, simple design that looks awesome), Fire Eagle (simple, but sleek), and Sentai Fortress (huge, with lots of clever details.). ;-)

I don't really know about that, Kikuichimonji. If TLC made a kit like that instead of the cruddy Mufastar kit they made instead, fans would probabaly be clearing out the stock! Already got 15 bids, too, so at least some lego fans seem to be crazy about it. ;-)
-
I can't understand why everyone thinks it was silly. I mean, it may have been small. but it looked pretty good and had some nice details and parts. It certainly was much better than the last 3 firestations we got! (The Town Junior, City Center, and Jack Stone versions all came before that, and they all were crud!). Besides, you weren't really expecting TLC to release a 69.99 USD Police Station and Firestation at the same time, were you? ;-)

Beautiful Firestation!!! 8-

4513 for me. Just like in the airport poll, I voted for Grand Central Station because of it's smooth, modern look, and all the cool details and construction. It looks so much better than the cruddy World City Police Station, even looks right at home in the present time City theme! I only hope than when TLC makes a new one, that they keep this one in mind. ;-)

Saw this when I went to see Cars last summer. It will probably do great just like all the other Pixar movies. The CGI looks especially polished, better than any previous all CGI movie I've seen. ;-) BTW, isn't it kind of funny that trailers for Flushed Away (a Dreamworks movie also about rats) appeared on TV just as teaser trailers for this movie appeared? Seems like both companies have rats on the brain! X-D

Of course they are! X-D Great job on EXO-DICE, Exo-champ. You seem to really have most everything nailed down, but I did notice a couple of mistakes: 1: The Sentry II can fly, according to the offical Lego Magazine (US version) 2. I think the Gate Defender has rockets, as the four cones below the cannon look a lot like them 3. "Defence" is spelled Defense. ;-) Oh, BTW, will you be adding stat cards for the other vehicles eventually? (Supernova, MDT, Striking Venom, Silent Strike, Meca one's unamed mech from the fortress, Bridge walker, White lightening, and any others I missed) ~~ED~~

Beautiful MOC, Nabii. I've always loved how you can make your dioramas have so much detail and a whols lot of mini-stories packed into them. You have at least four in this one (the large monster, a small one attacking some adventurers, a car chase, a skeleton army coming out of the mountain). I especially love all the vehicles in the scene. ;-) BTW, is it your intention to put a Doctor Who reference in every diorama, or is it just me? X-D

I'd have to go with the Exo-force Gate Assault. That kit was the one that started my love for the entire theme, and it kind of brings back memories of older kits that were jampacked with lots of features and cool sub constructions. I also love the first Starwars Milineum Falcon that TLC made. Although the new one beats the living daylights out of it, that kit was a real classic to me. It was so awesome having a model of the ship I saw in the movies, and I enjoyed it so much. To date, it's the only $100 kit I have. ;-)

Well, 2006 is coming to an end, and I have to say that I really am seeing hope for the future of TLC and great lego. Why? Well because, quite frankly, lego is just really good these days! I mean, take a look back at TLC nearly a decade ago. The year was 1999, and it seemed that lego had really lost its sprit. A horrible <insert that tiresome argument> town line, the loss of Pirates, Castle, and Space (RockRaiders does not count), and really nothing that shouted

Hm, Farrusco also provided those set names in the General Lego forum, but the list also had an additonal 2 sets as well:

Gas Station? Cement Mixer? SEAPORT?!!! Man, that just made my day. X-D 3 cheers for 2007! ;-)
-
Holly, am I mistaken, or is that a girl name? :-P Bah, nevermind. Welcome to our friendly forums, Holly. Hope you have a great time here discuscing lego. ;-)
-
So true. This is possibly the biggest Bionicle rip-off of 2006 (and there weren't very many this year). I have to pay for a kids meal (which is way to small for my apitite), and all I get for it is a dumb 1 piece toy with an even dumber shooting mechanism. |-/ No way am I wasting money on this "crudmotion." :-|
-
Thank you. I'm thinking of doing some more Divers reviews if people want me to (I have two other sets). ;-)

Awesome MOC"s there, AlanYap. 8-

Man, new members are getting really creative with user names these days! X-D Welcome aboard, Hun! I'm sure you'll find this board to be the best general lego board on the web! ;-)
