  1. Um, why in blazes did GregF help kill it? He's done just the opposite when it comes to story (IMO), and he has said many times that he has nothing to do with designing the sets. Why do you think that the story is so horible, anyway? I've read the books, and they fit in with bionicle just fine (Remember Karzahini in Bionicle Legends 2? Or how about the shadowy character of Axxon?).
  2. Definition: Blood. :-P Yep, Greg confirmed that TLC has decided to make a bloodthirsty bionicle that has remains of his meals on his weapons and face. Gruesome, but in some ways cool. I don't really care though, because I basicly hate Pridak X-D (his face is horible!). He is really the only one I can say that about, though, so overal I am still pleased with the Barraki. ;-)
  3. Your welcome. Good idea to merge the topics, too. ;-) After Christmas, I'll probably pick up the next Aquaraiders kit, Angler Ambush, so a review will most likely be coming eventually. I'm not wanting for it for christmas because I have to finish off my want list from Lego 2006 first (which mainly includes Bionicle sets.).
  4. When I meant "wing pieces," I didn't mean the black fin that attaches to the back of the rover, I meant the black wedge plates. And really, I see most of the small lego animal pieces as acessories, because they really are not MOCing pieces, and they don't fit in with minifiguires. ;-)
  5. Picked up an Aquaraiders kit from Walmart when I saw they had them in, and since I enjoyed it so much, I had to do a review for it. Here goes
  6. :-D LOL, Jinzo! I wouldn't really trust her, though. X-D I would have concured in 2005, but since then two new armor colors have been introduced: bright gold and Gunmetal (which isn't really new, but has never been used other than in the Kikanalo). I loved how many of the weapons and armor were being made in that color, so it's not as bad as you say (Even some of the barraki's weapons are other colors, but really, the manidables would not look good in any other color then silver, probably.) ;-)
  7. I went to Wallmart today, and they had Aquaraiders! (The new crud racers were there, too :-| ) So, I picked up the smallest set, Deep Sea Treasure Hunter (I was nearly broke, so I had to choose the smallest one :-( ). I'm very happy with it, so a review from me for tomorow is very likely. ;-)
  8. Could you take pictures of them? (if you haven't already) I'd love to see them up close and in real life. ;-)
  9. Thanks guys, and Exo-Champ, I would love it if you put the Turbine Tracker on your website. It's easily my favorite out of all my Exo-force creations, and I want other people to see it. ;-)
  10. Your two reasons fail to comply with my argument. Why? Because first of all, the clones came from YOUR cloning faciility, which as stated earlier, I hacked into to release the clones. Second, the staff now running the Imperial newspaper is different from the staff the rebelion saved. The new staff is loyal to you, Vader, the old staff is not anymore, and they now are making a new underground newspaper within rebel grounds. I am not being a liar like so many of the imperials are, and I had no need to do my homework, as I was involved the rescuing scheme (Duh!). Seems as the entire Imperial staff needs glasses (including you, Vader, and you Starwars4J). ;-)
  11. 4 words: I'll be getting them. X-D They look much better now, and althought I'm not sure on a few things, they mostly are cool and very exo-force'y. Same with the smaller ones, only even more so. Nice job, TLC. ;-)
  12. Here's two new mechs I built. ;-) Thunder Fury II Overall View. Side View Back View. Powersaw Arm. Cannon Arm. Cockpit and Top. Legs and Feet. One of the most deadly mechs designed by the Robots, the Thunder Fury II has thankfully not been produced in great numbers. Designed after the fall of the Raging Storm super-mech, MkII is vastly different from the original model. Heavier armor, improved weapons, and a streamlined design make this mech even deadlier than its predecessor. When Exo-Force faced a squadron of 4 of these powerful mechs, they barely succeeded in driving them back, which makes the humans glad that there are only a few of them, due to slow development and construction. Weight: Heavy Speed: Medium/Slow Armor: 11 inches of tenatium armor Weapons: - Automatic Heavy Quad-Gatling cannon - Titanium/Krillium Alloy powersaw - 2 missiles - 6 light lasers (not cannons) Total Production: Estimated at 7 units Turbine Tracker Overall View. Front View. Side View. Back View. Cockpit. Cockpit Opened. Built as a scout mech, the Turbine Tracker gets its name from the two small turbines attached on its back in a similar fashion as the Fire Vulture. This small mech is fairly quick in the air, and often performs recon-missions, as well as assisting Fire Vultures in sole-air attacks. The Humans have had victories against them, but in sheer numbers these mechs are very powerful. Weight: Medium/Light Speed: Medium/Fast Armor: 4 inches of tenatium armor Weapons: - 2 light laser cannons - 2 missiles Total Production: Estimated at 170 units Oh, and here are the links to two older MOC's I never got around to posting: Blade and Z-5 Scout Glider. :-)
  13. Vader, you called me foolish for saying that the Galactic Time's staff was safe, because they supposedly were willingly under your control. Well, it appears you were wrong, because in truth, right before they printed the story of the light side traitor Yoda's dissapearence, they had willingly joinned me and the rebels and moved out of the galactic times building. Your sorry commander Starwars4J thought he had killed them, but in truth he had killed clones that had been made of them before their side switch. I released the clones by hacking into the facilty they were kept in (don't try to trace it. I hacked it on my ship :-P ), and Starwars4J killed them, not having a darn clue that they were and still are safely opperating an underground newspaper in the Rebel base (which is still hidden from your eye doctor lacking troopers and staff, as well as you). In short, you FAILED, Vader. You FAILED, Yoda. And, you FALIED, Starwars4J. The rebels have won another victory against you, and we will continue to do so until your empire is no more. ;-)
  14. Really, who needs more ties? Oh well, at lest the TIE ARMY will benifit from this.... X-D
  15. I knew that too. X-D Hm, since the kits will be coming out so soon, I might pick up a Clone or Droid figure pack right after christmas. I'll have plenty of money to throw around then, so it's a distinct possiblity for me.
  16. Um, how are they too tall to be Toa? They are about the same size as the piraka, and I thought the standard canister set size was now about as tall as them. You really didn't expect TLC to make the Inika the size of the Toa Nuva, did you? ;-)
  17. Um, seriously, these look far different from the chinesse copies to me. Besides, from what I've heard, the Blocko copies actually are pretty high quality in terms of plastic and durability, unlike the common perception. ;-) You know, I really don't understand why people hate the Inika so much. Aside from some of the masks, I really don't see why they don't look like toa. They also have tons of great pieces, and they are extremely poseable. I'm curious, Ikkio, why do you hate the Inika so much? 8-| But, I should get back on topic, to the absolutely awesome Barraki! There are only two of them that I am not very satisfied on, Takadox and Pridak, but the others are awesome! Time for an in-depth review: Carapar: Cool face, and he looks very useful for brown (yellow?) parts. I also like the pinchers. :-) Kalmah: The absolute best. He has tons of dark red parts, like the hordika foot and piraka body, and his face is awesome! *y* Mantax: Still my favorite. LOVE the face, and he has a good supply of black parts. And thos hooks....Oh man, upgraded gali hooks....AWESOME! 8-
  18. Nope, just checked your link, and Mantax is there as well. ;-)
  19. Hey guys, just thought I'd let you know that 4 of the Barraki are on th USA Toysrus site under "lego, other blocks and models." Too bad about the price, though. $10 is pretty pricy for Bionicle sets that don't have any electronics like the Inika. :-( Than again, Toysrus is known to price sets a bit higher then normal. We'll just have to wait and see... *hopes for $9 Wallmart price*
  20. Well, on the positve side of this interesting fiasco, we actually got some pictures of the prototype Aquaraiders (which are not half bad, actually.) ;-) I would have loved that crab.....
  21. Well, including everything I will possibly buy: Aquaraiders: Tiger Shark $30 Crab Set $60 Deep Sea Exploration $4 Giant Lobster Set $20 Treasure Ship $30 Angler Fish $6 Aquaraiders Base $80 Bionicle: Defilak $5 Dekar $5 Morak $5 Thulox $5 Mantax $9 Carapar $9 Kalmah $9 Ehlek $9 Tiny Turbos: Sets 1,2,3,4 $4 each Starwars: Clone and Battle Droid packs $10 each City: Fire Pickup $10 Exo-Force: Claw Crusher $8 Cyclone Defender $8 Shadow Crawler $15 Sky Defender $15 Iron Condor $15 Blade Titan $15 *wacko* I really have a lot of work to do narrowing down my wants if don't want to go broke..... :-(
  22. Aparrently, your stormtroopers and pilots have an eye disorder, Vader. They destroyed the building the Galactic WEEKLY uses, not the Galactic Times. All the news staff on the Times are safe and sound, hidden in the true location of their paper (which is an underground newspaper, so you will never find it). By the way, I copied a story from an issue of the Interplanetary Press, which has your name in the title ;-) : Interplanetary Press Volume 347 Issue 39 GALACTIC PRESS HEADQUARTERS DESTROYED! Corusant Demands the fall of Lord Vader and the Empire! Corasaunt - In a shocking move that enraged the entire planet of Corusant, the Imperial Empire has destroyed the headquarters of the biggest newspaper in the system, the Galactic Weekly! Millions of citizens and lowlife scum banded together to stage a huge protest in front of an Imperial communications center at the sudden attack, demanding the fall and total destruction of the entire Empire! "The Empire sure has angered me today!" one citizen and polictician told me, "I reckon that their scumy empire will burn down the Capital building next! Nobody is safe anymore from their evil attacks!" Much of the press believes the cause of the sudden attack due to a story printed by the Weekly about the loss of the Empire's Grand Admiral, Yoda, but other believe it to be only part of a growing series of violent attacks that still are going on today. - MORE ON PAGE 4
  23. Read bdd's post. It is possible they were updated after I and he looked. ;-) Besides, I already have glasses, just wasn't wearing them. X-D
  24. I think it's mainly JINZONINGEN who strongly dislikes them (on here anyway, and I could be wrong), and it's only because his building style (which is still totally awesome) can't really use them in good ways. I have no problem with them, though, and getting them in Dark Green and Yellow is one of the many reasons I will buy the new Matoran. ;-)
  25. Odd, where's the figure packs? Oh well, they'll probably be added later. Great find! ;-)
