Exo-Champ! Grevious here, and I've just entered the combat zone! It's too bad that we won't be winning this one, but I'll try to help keep the Tie Fighters at bay. Yeow, here comes one now! BOOM!!! There goes another one, it's heading for Transport 7! Red 7, follow my lead and try to take it out while I fight the remains of a squad heading for the starbord side of Transport 3! The Imperial dogs will regret that they ever lowered me down to a gungan level! >:-)

Day 24: More force concentration traning, and I did even better this time. Now I can lift over 200 pounds! Master says that the day after tomorow I will have a test to see whether I am ready to be given the title of Jedi Knight. I've been up practicing my skills for hours, and I think I will go to bed right after this. I need the sleep! And, I was upset to hear that Imperial Scuots was captured by the Imperials. He is one of the rebels best allies and pilots, and I do hope commander Mutley and Exo-champ can get him out. Day 27: The big test started yesterday morning. After eating a light breakfast, we started the first part of the test, force power concentration. For the first time, I lifted 250 pounds purely with the force, plus I finally managed to pull off a backflip. No, the double backflip is still beyond me, but I'm still proud. Today, part 2, lightsaber traihg, consisted mainly of pulling off lightsaber moves and techniques correctly. I did well, and tomorow master says the final part of my test will begin. I do wonder what it is..... Day 28: The final part of my test was something I didn't really expect. My master said that to truly prove my skills I must engage in a duel with him, using all the force techiques, lightsaber skills, and other things I have learned to fight him. The duel was intense, and lasted for a full half hour, with master first going easy on me, then getting much more agressive, until I could barely keep up with him. After it was finished, he said that I had preformed excelently, as I was putting up a good fight. He still would have killed me if it was for real, but he said that since he is unofically a Master Jedi, that does not matter. But, strangely, he did not make me a Jedi knight. Tomorow will be a day devoted to relaxing after my hard work. We will have a hearty breakfast, travel down to the village, and spend time with the locals and help them out with some of their work (which is just warm ups to Jedi). After that, he said we will take a walk through the woods just to enjoy the nature that surrounds it. Normally, I would enjoy it, but the news I have been hearing about the battle with the imperials has disturbed me. Day 29: I've made a decision. I have decided to return to the rebel base today, since the rebels desperately need my help. I told Master, and he smiled sincerely. Then, right on the spot, he declared me a Jedi knight! He said that he had been testing me the whole time whether I would relax despite the rebels trouble, or go to help my friends and forget about personal pleasures. He thought all along I would make the choice I made today, but he had to make sure. The test is finally complete, and I am in hyperspace right now, finally a true Jedi Knight. ~~END OF TRANSMISSION~~

Wonderful. Just wonderful. The comics seriously keep getting better and better. This is the most well written comic yet, and there are so many developements in the story: 1: We actually see non-Exo-force pilots fighting! And the humans are actually being defeated! From what I'm seing, even if the Striking Venom does fall, the humans most likely will lose, thus using the possible plot of the Golden City being a last resort base that the humans will have to flee to. 2007 will be very interesting, for sure. ;-) 2. The Supernova returns! And, it falls, but I'm still glad we saw it active again and fighting. 3. Bridge Walker also returns! And theres more than one this time! Man, that really made my day. *sweet* 4. The comic dives into the robot's personalities more, and we see them actually working like one huge war machine. Also great. :-) To put it short, this comic rocks mountains (if you excuse the dumb pun). It really shows the best of Exo-force, and I hope the rest of 2006's comics and all of 2007's comics will live up to this one, and the last few ones as well. ;-) :-D Come on, be realistic..... X-D

Day 11: I've decided to update my log only ocasionaly, as my Jedi training has become particularly intense. Today, we practiced intermediate lightsaber skills, and I started learning how to do powerful force assisted backflips and other combat moves. Day 15: I'm back from another 3 day trip, this time inside the mountain ranges on this planet. I had to sleep on the hard rocks, and we ate the seeds and leaves from a type of plant that grows in this area. It was pretty rough, but master was impressed that I did so well with my training and survival skills. Day 21: We took another trip to town for supplies, and while I was there, I heard that a huge battle between my fellow rebels and the Imperials was raging a ways away from this planet. I have confidence that my rebel friends will put up a good fight, and I only wish I was there to help them. But, alas, if I do not complete this jedi training seasson, my master and I will both be dissapointed. I need this training, and when I go back to my rebel friends, I will come back stronger in the force and even more ready to combat the dastardly Imperials. ~~END OF TRANSMISSIONS~~

So would I. Mount Doom, Helms Deep, The Shire, and other locations would work pretty well in Lego, and think of all the great minifigs and monsters! Orks, Elves, Hobbits, Dwarves, etc, would be awesome! And we have got to see a fire demon and Gollum figure if they make that line. Phew, that would definately be a big seller. ;-) If they made that, then Castle fans would also be pleased, as they would get lots of new weapons, figures, and general castle related items. I really don't see why TLC won't make it eventually. ;-)
-
That's asuming a lot. I mean, how can you be so sure that it will not sell well? From what I see, it looks like it will be a big hit, considering it still is a great kit to many people. (BTW, if that's not what you meant when you said that, forgive me.). But anyway, I don't really see why some of you hate the new version so much. The old version may be more rounded and it has a cool walkway, but it also has a horible squid and cruddy sub, plus it lacks a docking bay! (that walkway doesn't look like a docking bay at all) Not to mention the harpoon gun on top had a horbile stand. The new one may be less beautiful, but it still looks cool to me, plus has a better squid and sub, more figures and acessories, and other cool details. Not as bad as you guys are making it seem (IMO). ;-)

Aqua Raiders Review set 7774: Crab Crusher
Zarkan replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
As usual, a wonderful review from you, hinckley. Great pictures, and you sumarized everything well. And, love the story at the end. It really had me laughing. :-D Can't wait to get this.... in 2007 |-/ (not that it's not out in my area, because it is, but because I am totally broke and I need the rest of my 2006 kit wants for christmas.) -
OOC: You know, that is a very good question. 8-|

~~Transmission to vader~~ Hah, try as you might, but you will never find the planet master and I are on, as any ship that comes near it will be, well, redirected. ;-) ~~END OF TRANSMISSION~~ ~~Transmission to Exo-Champ~~ Thanks. I hope your strike will go even better than normal, as I know you will succeed. We rebels always manage to make even a bad situation into a good one, thus we don't have failed attacks very often, athought the victories may be small. I know you will succeed, as the Imperials biggest weapon is obviously their half baked propoganda. X-D ~~END OF TRANSMISSION~~

Same here, although it may have been a blue jet I got in 1997 (can't remember the name). I started building with system legos about then, although I was playing with duplo in my 2's (Mom has pictures to prove it). ;-)

Day 7: I'm back after a three day traning lesson in the wilderness. It was good to get out into nature, since I haven't seen that much since the Imperial dogs destroyed the ecosystem on so many planets. I spent day 5 working on force awareness techniques, and day 6 training with my lightsaber. The morning of day 7 (today) was spent going to the village near the hidden cave to pick up more supplies. It was culturally diverse, but thankfully, everybody on the planet is allied with the rebels and has promised not to reveal my masters identity to any Imperial scum. Tomorow master says he must reveal something to me. I have a vauge sense of what he is talking about, due to my increased force sensitivity, but I'm not really sure. Day 8: Today, I walked into the dining area to a surprise. Master was sitting in his chair, only he was missing his beard. He explained the truth to me: he is not, at least offically, a Jedi Master. He was about to become one when Order 66 took place. He says he was ashamed that he was not able to help his soon to be counterparts in the Jedi council, and that he has been sad for years about Darth Vader's tragedy. But, he says he believes that, someday, Vader will turn back to the light side, as he senses good still in him. I don't know what to think about all this at all. Today we started practicing basic force mind reaching on small animals native to this planet. I did okay. but after the shock of today, that really doesn't matter to me. ~~END OF TRANSMISSION~~

Bah, you'll just wrap an aveage gungan head and claim it was mine (which it would never be, since I am not a gungan). Shame, shame, lying like that to get in good respects with Vader.... ;-)

Um, I think Fisher price is way bellow MB, because its not even a building toy. At least you build MB, and at least MB has SOME good parts, unlike Fisher Price, which is a baby toy (obviously). ;-)

Way cool. These Mosaic kits already were great to me when I first saw them (another fresh idea!), and adding a clear baseplate is just wow! I can see several uses for it already.... ;-)

Where'd you here that, Darkness? I though the only titan we knew of so far had only a name as info (Nocturn). 8-|

Happy birthday, Darth Kitty...er...Vader. ;-)

It's really quite amazing how fast people get off topic on Eurobricks. X-D

Day 2: I awoke to a breakfast of hash made with some sort of animal meat. After a great meal, master lead me back to the training room. Today I learned how to improve my force concentration, so my force strength would increase. Master says I require at least one more day of training in that area, but I'm not worried. Day 3: I passed with flying colors this time, and for the first time, I managed to lift 150 pounds 2 meters off the ground. Master says I did very well, and with more training I will soon be able to lift twice that much. I was very happy. I also noticed Vader's claims when reading the latest transmissions. I really don't understand why he thinks I can be an addict and be able to talk so smootly and write these entries at the same time.... but Vader never makes sense anyway, so I don't really care. Day 4: Today, master taught me how to meditate more calmly and throughly, as that never was one of my great strengths. I did much better with his guiding, and I am writing this very happily. I am glad I am under master's training. ~~END OF TRANSMISSION~~

OOC: Vader, you said yourself that a few jedi were still alive when you explained the rules of this game, didn't you? ;-) OOC: Hey, anybody who is a rebel in our crazy game should feel free to use my new banner based on Imperial Scouts awesome poster. ;-)

Cool! But, you do realize you have the PROTOTYPE picture of the Aquabase in your post, don't you? ;-)

Day 1: I landed my Jedi starfighter on the green grass surounding a well hidden cave. The jedi master walked out slowly, then did a fantastic leap and landed right next to my ship. It was quite amazing for the guy, as he looked pretty old. "This is only the tip of Jedi power," the wise man said. "Learn it from me, and use it to combat the Imperal ways." I acknowlodged him and followed him inside. Day one was basicly a warm up day. After showing me around the cave, my new home, he brought me to a large room, the training room, and instructed me about some basic Jedi excercises. I did pretty well, and the Jedi master said tomorow we would move on in my training. One more thing. After reading the transmissions sent between the Rebels and the Imperials after I had left, I decided to ask my master to check me over and make sure I had not used any deathsticks, just so the braggart Vader would be convinced (Although I doubt he'll believe me or any of the Rebels anyway, as he is just too gulible and pin headed). After looking me over with his master force powers, he assured me with a smile that I had not done so much as inhale the fumes of a deathstick more than a couple times. I am going to bed very smug after this. ~~END OF TRANSMISION~~~

:'-( If only I could get one.... Great review, BTW. Could you possibly do a review of Wii sports as well? I'd love to see it from a pictorial view perspective. ;-)

I wasn't talking to you, Darth Kitty. ;-)

Man, for a newspaper, you have terrible grammar, Editor. By the way, you and all the Empire dogs are offically brainless. X-D Well, Exo champ, now we both have brainless titles made by brainless Imperial dogs (OOC: J/k). Doesn't really bother me, though. Take that, Imperial scum! ;-) Attention all rebels: I have decided I must take time to improve my basic Jedi skills, so I have decided to seek the traning of one of last Jedi masters in the universe. He was one of the 7 jedi that survived Order 66, and he has accepted me as his new student. He says I have high potential to become a great Jedi, but I still require much time to practice and learn new skills. So, I am offically taking a months hiatus and going to the planet he is on to train. (OOC: really, I only will be gone for a week in real time) Note though that I will be sending transmissions of my journal entries across the sectors (transmissions that can NOT be tracked) so the Imperial dogs can make themselves even more stupid by claiming they are false, and so the Rebels can keep track of my progress. Until later, my Rebel friends. ;-) Grevious, beginner jedi and human pilot, out.

Aqua Raiders Set Review 7772: Lobster Strike
Zarkan replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thanks for the review. ;-) I hate that the cockpit is open, but other than that I love this set! The printed parts are SWEET, and the lobster overall is very cool. Other than the cockpit issue, I like the rover as well, and the cockpit can be fixed by doing a bit of MOCing. :-)
