  1. PROBLEM * BP does not fully respect grouping from LDD - it rearranging/dividing them to even smaller steps on its own decision which is quite a mess: that way one really cannot make BP doing steps as intended so he must rearranging them himself at the end after all once again anyway (or at least there is maybe some hidden settings I am not aware of)
  2. Thanx, I am already working on it...I have to go sleep finally (gee, like 03:45 morning here!) but I can say it will have LOTS OF DIFFERENT MODULARITIES EVERYWHERE + I was thinking about its actual purpose in Techtroners world and I think it could be something about supply transport, with name like "691603 Charon Transport Mech" (Charon - moon of Pluto, you know) or such, we will see - it is still long road to final result (several days I guess at best)
  3. Yules, it is not just about the simple "guns away!" change, it requires some principial Techtroners changes cos every MOC being considered Techtroners MUST HAVE special bricks present, like for example: * main colors are yellow and white (cca. 50/50), with some accents in black or grey + one or two bricks can be in blue * all interrior/cockpit needs to be in sand green * at least one pair of black 4345 + trans-clear 4346 * at least 2 trans-clear 44676 * at least one trans-clear 4865 * at least one pair of trans-red 3957 (with rounded top!) and black 2569 in predeffined configuration (both in basically one line with trans-red on left, black on right side of the structure be it vehicle, craft, base...) * at least one tube/hose of any kind (the more the better!) * at least one trans-violet 60169 or 92338 * all glasses needs to be in trans dark blue or at least (if one wants to build it for real) in trans light blue...and there would be really a lot of trans parts in Techtroners design * no militaristic approach to design - that is no big guns, rockets bombs etc. * every design - even some really small - need to have a lot fo different modularities - THAT IS ONE OF ABSOLUTE MUSTS! etc. ... So as you see I would really make quite big addition of bricks to your mech whichever it would be + rearranging some of their bricks + adding some of my design addition to it (like small central, craft, vehicle...whatever). Therefor I do not know...I guess the one thing we can do here is that I simply make something out of your design, show it to you first via PM so you would have final word on accepting or not such design. In case we would come to some agreement on final design, I would renders it and add to my Techtroners line giving it a unique Techtroners number and name which we would make up together. BTW: I am afraid that big hammer would need to go for sure, sorry (but hey, we could always come up with something different!) Waiting for you opinion on this.
  4. Well, if you would allow me make some important changes then I guess it could but I am not sure if you would agree on those changes cos they would be like directly against the actual nature of your mech: as of now it is militaristic wheres Techtroners are primarily explorers in nature, so one of big change would be transforming it by myself into Techtroners-comatible version...if you will I can play with it and would showed you my result beforehand - if you will like it I can implement it into my Techtroners line as cooperation between me and you (basically the same way I am doing right now with @whitswj grabler vehicle), hm?
  5. Sorry, I don't have any other
  6. No problem
  7. Click image for FullHD resolution... LXF: http://lego.queryen....es_bublible.lxf P.S.: I have slightly rearranged for you that big black gun so now it can be attached to its hand easily + also changed a bit the way those rocket launchers on its back are connected so they can be rotated freely to any direction you want (enabling me arrange it the way it is better visible now)...
  8. Nevermind, I will simply name it as Yules' MECH
  9. OK, I will make that render for you today later at night + I will make it the way I am always doing my renders if you don't mind? That is I will place a text section in its lower left corner with date it was released for public view, name you gave it, author of the MOC, author of the render and year when I made that render, something like this (click image for FullHD version): Do you agree? P.S.: btw how is it called, what name should I give it?
  10. Is it really finished? What about that big black thing (kind of weapon) next to your mech - is it OK, should I render it like that anyway?
  11. Hey guys! As my Techtroners LEGO SPACE pseudo subtheme becomes more and more known (and maybe even popular in a way) I am starting to think about some real important changes to the way I am designing my MOCs which would have really strong visual effect on my future builds...and yet would be pretty challenging too for me to design them in that way I guess! Many times some of you kind of "complain" (OK, I know it is not the best description of the matter but I am unable describe it differently...anyway I mean it really in a good manner ) that my MOCs may look fine but there is one thing that somehow ruins it all a bit: as I am basically "prototyping" new bricks' colors it is quite often not possible building such design for real because such brick colors simply do not exist, of course. Some other "complain" from time to time is also the fact that some of my MOCs look too complex = too many bricks needed for their construction with real LEGO bricks (in fact I was always adoring those older TLG designers - mainly those form 80's - that were able doing so much and big looking stuff with just "a few" bricks used like <400 for a big space station compared, for example, to my own designs...wow!) - my "normal" brick count is actually somewhere around 1000 +/-. So my question is: - do you think I should go the way of designing my future Techtroners MOCs FROM EXISTING BRICK COLORS ONLY AND NOT THAT COMPLEX (like, let's say, 500 pcs as maximum thus making my MOCs looking not that too many bricks and fancy anymore)? - or should I STAY WITH MY CURRENT APPROACH (thus making it looking somewhat amazing still BUT ppl would not be able build it in a designed way)? Please, show me your opinion in my poll if you may - I would be very thankful to you if you do! P.S.: this would have effect on all of my newly designed MOCs from 2016 onward but would not be taken to consideration to MOCs that are already designed but not publicly released yet (one can very easily tell when was one designed by my numbering: just look at the middle two digits of MOC's respective number - it is the year it designed! ). regards bublible
  12. I may try: just post your final model lxf file here when you finish it. Thank you then!
  13. Ehm, in case it is aimed at me (as you've quoted my post): actually all I did was re-colored it so it looks like my own pseudo subtheme called Techtroners and make photo realistic render, nothing else - that design itself is completely Yules'
  14. Thanks, but I was rather asking that if what I made about the cabin - filling all those gaps - was what you wanted...?
  15. @Yules Did you already look into the lxf I provided for you (underneath the image)?
  16. Here it is...ehm, sorry I could not help it not to decorate it in my Techtroners-like style... http://lego.queryen.com/download/20160224_newcockpit_bublible.lxf
  17. I guess without providing your .lxf file there is probably only very small chance anyone could help or make any adjustments...
  18. OK then - good luck (looks like it's "me" once again)
  19. Ehm, sorry to ask but do I feel sarcasm in your reply or is it I just did not understand how you mean it (your reply)? You said you want LESS STEPS: actually I thought your problem was too many submodels = "steps" (by deleting them there would be less of them = less "steps") - is that correct?
  20. Right click on submodel you want to remove (but first move all parts into some other submodel cos else delete option would be greyed out) and click DELETE
  21. Thanx but is it OK that some parts of the model are blended into the background (the big white "ventilator", minifig's helmet...) - isn't it a sign of non-perfection/problem? Ah, I still do not know but last days I am thinking that the darker one is the way to go for me although as I already said I like that lighter one more...basically I want to preserve as much of detail as possible without being too dark + also it looks to me that the darker one have more depth to it.
  22. ___

    Cavalry+

    Nice idea
  23. Hmm, "VillagePeople-like" one...maybe? ANyway I quite like it...I mean that reversed colorisation, not that it is VP-like universe, of course.
