Wow! I really like the long coats and custom work. I also like how you incorporated regular LEGO pieces with your custom work to come up with a very nice overall "feel" of the minifig. They are really top notch! I am also a fan of non-firing small arms, so the ax is a big plus in my book!

YEAHHHHHHHH BOYYYYYYYYY! GOT IT! I can't believe I got it for $120 for the set, box, and instructions! BAM! -
LifeLites - Can they be used for Ship's Lanterns and Sterns?
martinsuper replied to Joey Lock's topic in LEGO Pirates
I was going to use them in a lighthouse. I would run the cable down the structure, under the catwalk, into some burp and lurp, and into a power source. -
OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I get it now, because anyone who knows about the Royal Manticoran Navy knows they they are NOTHING like the british at all!

She is very lovely. I can't wait to see her in real LEGO and with rigging! BTW, after spending a few hours punching the computer screen, I have a ton of respect for anyone who does these in LEGO CAD.

Well, you know Im only doing this for the forum... not because I actually want it... -
Ok, when you say print size, we then just copy and past that pic into word and print, right?

Very cool with an awesome look! I really get the feel that this scene is part of a "larger picture". When you can do that, I consider it to be a succesful MOC.

I'm in the lead on the BSB. Maybe I finally win one? Then all I need is the SES and I'll have the set of ships! -
I take back what I said. This fort does not impress me one bit.
-
Ok, because this will be my first time coming, so I really have no idea whats going on. As for original sets, like I said earlier, I think only my Caribbean Clipper is 100% of what it used to be. I want to bring my fort, but these bricklink sellers are dragging their feet. It's taking forever just to get invoices to pay. The other thing is that when i see some of the displays online, I don't feel like bringing my "little fort" because its not "grand", you know what I mean? Sorry I forgot to say this, but I am building the fort on a 48X48 baseplate.

Everyone knows that the British are a bunch of drunken rabble. Otherwise you would have beat that gang of even more drunken American colonists... am I right?
-
Well we weren't discussing that, everyone knows that they can't. No point in even talking about it anymore.
-
I do know my star wars, except only the stuff that matters.... Oh, I didn't see that one coming....
-
I like small to midsized forts. I think you can enjoy the detail a lot more.
-
I will post my hordes of armed forces once I get my squad of blackcoats finished. Anyone have any brickbeard torso's they want to sell/trade?
-
This is a very cool ship. One thing I really like is that the Iron Cross was established when the Prussians went to war against Napoleon. I know there are a lot of Napoleonic fans on here so this ship should really be a big hit!
-
Well, I guess I'm the first to say that this was my first set: This set made my transition from city/space to pirates.
-
There is a new LEGO star wars set that has a minifig with black epaulettes. Strange enough, its a.... "Space pirate tank"! I like the notion of black epaulettes and my mind is spinning with possibilities right now.

Well, I know what it is because Im Catholic, but I would say if you asked a majority of Americans they would have no clue.
-
I would buy a couple for sure. No reason not to! If they don't sell it in the US (in stores), they should at least make it available online! Because lets be honest, most americans have no idea what advent is. Unless you called it Christmas calender or something? -Super

ASK HERE How to clean your LEGO sets/parts?
martinsuper replied to jngunsw's topic in General LEGO Discussion
So, what is the best method to clean old sets? I have painstakingly washed a few with a toothbrush, and I would like to see if anyone else has any good idea? For instance, my Imperial Flagship needs a really good cleaning. Any ideas? Common practices? -
IF I get my fort done, I could be there the 20th and 21st. That is a big if, but I just put a big order into bricklink, so it should be a reality. Otherwise, what else would you want us to bring? Most of what I have right now is original sets, or original sets that I slightly modified, like my Imperial BB. -Super P.S. Do people bring things to trade? Like if I had some city baseplates and wanted to trade them, etc...? I could bering Caribbean Clipper, Imperial Flasgship, Imperial Outpost, and a few others if no one has committed them yet.
