If uou read the blueprints book you will see the hatch is actually at the rear not the top.

It looks great but I never understand why they put a hatch on the top of all their Ties...?

Ucs Tie is revealed!

I'm currently updating my version based on the Rebels Landing craft. It's shown as damaged but you can see it in the Rebels episode 'Gathering forces'

the landing legs need to protrude about 4-5 bricks including the feet. It will weigh about 2-3kg. I've not found an original set yet apart from the first Lego technic back hoe with the worm drives for the rear stabilizers. As for building something here is the finalized moc theres other photos in my stream

Hi all, I need to have a functional landing gear mechanism that operates the gear doors (2x 4x4 plates) as well as the gear itself all in a confined space roughly 6x8 studs and 6 bricks high. Any suggestions?

It would make sense to release the Tie in May to coincide with the trailer for the film. Just saying

I want to know why the Volvo Loading shovel wasn't the L350 it was just one of it's smaller siblings, An L350 would be twice as big!

My At-At will not be a Lego Ideas set as i said ln some post somewhere or other. All lego idea sets are in the 3-400 part range and around £30-£50. If it gives the Star Wars team Ideas for a Ucs At-At then thats great at least its shows TLG there is demand for a large set after the Falcon.

The At-At hasnt been carried over to 2015 thats just when the results of the next review will be.

Its a ucs set it doesnt need an interior or minifigs!

The 2010 version is system scale this new one is ucs

Very impressive. How big will this be when finished? You are best building the external features first then fitting a frame inside! Are you going to build in real bricks?
