  1. That's one of the better looknig Star Wars sets. Love the crazy minifigures.
  2. I have a green one from a Creator set that is misplaced and an old old old grey one that I try not to lose because it's so old.
  3. The other set had three skeleton pieces AND 90 more pieces!
  4. MB isn't LEGOs biggest competition, that would be video games.
  5. Darn I thought V2 had a blue one. I don't hate them, but they are plain and boring. The minifigures cost $4 a piece and I rather have different ones. Same with a Chef. Out of all the City/Town minifigures ever made they pick the chef for this set? I have like 25 chefs as it is, they are quite common. How about an "Indian" to go with the cowboy? EDIT - Turns out in the USA they are only $18... I swear they were $20. So that means it's only $3.50 a piece. :)
  6. ^ Also LEGO realizes children don't have $100 to spend on sets unless it's their birthday or Christmas. So they release the cheaper sets now, get people talking about the sets and then release the bigger ones so the kids can go "I want those for Christmas!" I love the fact LEGO finally puts in air tanks for a space theme, but then has helmets that aren't sealed. I know when I was a kid that would still piss me off.
  7. Sadly Cars are Duplo only when Toy Story will be mixed. I think Cars built in a Creator Style would be awesome, and LEGO is really blowing it with that. LEGO loves their Racer theme, but it's really now a lame overdone theme, but Cars can bring it back to life.
  8. I loved the set until I saw it from the side... ouch...
  9. I actually like the set a lot, the A-Wing and Y-Wing are my favorite ships. However for 70 Euro, or $70, the set needs a few more minifigures.
  10. The Google is telling me that 1 U.S. dollar = 0.721656924 Euros. If that is true that means the Euro lost 60 cents on the dollar within the last 6-8 months. So....
  11. $50 Yes I know it has several smaller trees and this and that, but really it's just a very small building and that's it. For $100 we get two nice buildings, a big tree, and extras in Castle Marketplace. So $50 I think is the most for that set, but I know it won't be that.
  12. 70 Euro?!?! Holy shit!!!
  13. There is no way the set will be $100USD. I'm thinking the set will be an overpriced $70.
  14. $40 for that... Also the box the set looks grey, but the set is white. Is that just weird lighting?
  15. The price is a zero from me, what a horrible waste of a set.
  16. Still not worth $20, but at east this one ends the classic Space guys, thank god...
  17. Nice set, but it makes me really wish I bought last year's huge Agents truck when it was $70 because it has so many pieces. I'll stick with my Dino Attack helicopter that I got on clearance for $35. And $110 TRU... please just go out of business already!
  18. Oh good, I needed more time. However what is this... 20th May 2009 at 1200hrs (GMT+8) What the hell time is that? Is that noon in China? I live in East Coast time which is -5GMT, so does that mean I have until 11pm Eastern time the 19th?
  19. LEGO must really like PM to make several new molds for one set. We are always told how expensive the molds are and yadda yadda yadda, and then they waste new molds on this crap.
  20. The queens second face is awesome! it's not scared, but pissed off and wanting revenge.
  21. Europe the beginning of this year got most of the new 2009 sets before anyone else. The only sets the USA got first by any real amount of time was the Pirate sets.
  22. The citizens are awesome! Nice job LEGO!
  23. I did the pricing yesterday and got $317USD. However it will NOT be over $300USD because it's still cheaper than Taj Mahal.
  24. I don't think $5 for the green baseplate is too much, it's a huge piece! However why they don't have blue at the very least bothers me. Plus the prices in the P@B is insane! I think that is only because the shipping for those is so much.
