Eh, not too surprised that it's the last one. If they were going to do a third (for the second graphic novel), they'd have to do a fourth since that's how they split them up, and four polybags seems pushing it, especially for BIONICLE.

It's mostly to make it consistent with Netflix's release terminology. Technically, at least according to Netflix, these are episodes 4 and 5, because the prologue was 1. And since it was released AFTER the first episodes, they can't be part of the same season, since Netflix releases all episodes of a season at once. Screwey internal logic, but hey.

Figures they'd call it a "second season". Netflix's organization bugs me sometimes. Oooooh well. Good stuff!

I love it as a whole. Obviously not perfect, but I'm pleased with what we've gotten so far. I guess my biggest complaint would not be with the amount of media, but the timing of it; e.g. mid-2016 we're getting a chapter book featuring the one-and-done villains from the previous year. It's not that it's a bad thing (and sounds like an interesting book, frankly) but it's a bit left-field considering where we are in the story right now. -
Now, see, that's what I actually wanted all along; we lost the Unity aspect going into the summer, so I needed to see that. Excellent. What catalog is it from?

Oh, nice, it actually does focus on the Skull Army, thought that was a rumor. Very cool.

So, mildly unrelated, but at Billund I was able to snap a few pics of the model they used for the Shadow Spawn, the Umarak/Onua combiner you see in JTO. They said they won't be releasing instructions, so I used the pictures as reference to create my own instructions. I didn't get too many pics, so I'm not sure if the instructions are 100% accurate, so if anybody can spot some inconsistencies, let me know!

The interviews didn't have anything to do with NDAs as far as I know, LEGO just wants to vet the transcripts/recordings to make extra sure no confidential information was released =) Hopefully I'll be able to get some of the interviews out this week, but my day job has been keeping me far more busy than should be allowed. Bleh. Working on them!

I'm for Slizers 2.0, baby! I think my biggest "dislike" of Hero Factory, looking back, was humanoid characters. If we're going sci-fi, I want full sci-fi. Slizers were awesome because they weren't human. Same with the Toa, in a way. But ultimately I wouldn't mind a Hero Factory reboot either.

He's definitely generic, but only insomuch as that he doesn't have any new parts or ideas. The overall look is phenomenal. Trans-blue MoCr is way better than a blend.

My favorite of the beasts. The decent head mobility makes a huge difference when talking about the jaw, and the flame blades are goofy but fun (and recolored!).

I'm not sure if he's supposed to replace the shield, I think the clip just goes into the spare armor space on his other arm.

They made it compatible! That's super cool. Much love to the designers for that.

Very much liking the Jyn Erso headsculpt; even if it doesn't really appear to resemble the character, it's leagues better in stylization compared to the weird androgyny of Luke and Rey, or the downright disturbing uncanny valley of Finn. Deathtrooper seems a little bland to me, but I'm not super sure why. Love the droid.

I'll definitely take some questions! My interview is with the BIONICLE "team" so I don't exactly what gets represented (marketing or whatever), so some questions might not be able to get asked, but I'll definitely want to find out as much as possible. >literally didn't know that forum existed I don't mind looking here for some questions =P. Good find on the magazine, too, a shame it's a bit later for France. Where does one buy comics in France, bookstores, specialty stores? I'll be going for a few weeks in the summer.

Not to distract from the fun Magazine news (I want it!) but my previous hinting was that I'll be going to Billund to interview the BIONICLE team! I'll definitely try to ask some questions about the overall state of the line there, but not sure how much I'd necessarily be able to share. Regardless, it's an exciting prospect, and I want to find out as much as I can.

Isn't that kind of exactly what the Stars did? =P. At least, they were technically supposed to conform to the standard release schedule but LEGO rushed them out the door so fast they hit in November.
