"'Try'? Do, or do do not. There is no 'try'!"
-
This was part of the introduction to the latest Think Geek newsletter: "In just 3 short weeks, the heavens have been turned upside down and, whamo presto bammo, we lost Pluto. Just like that. It's forever removed from the realm of the nine (now referred to as the legion of the eight). The scientific powers that be stuck a fork in him, and well, he's done. We'll miss you Pluto. Despite how distant and morbidly cold you are and how unforgivably atypical your orbit is, you will be missed. But alas, after seventy six years we can seek solace in realizing that a larger debate has been settled for us. Size matters."

Well, I get 3 out of 10. Not telling which 3 though ;-)

6392. The only one I've got and for YEARS my biggest set. I had hours of fun with this.
-
Cerburus? No chance against Hypnodisc!
-
Last of the parts arrived today. Built. Looks good (I like the mini sets - hell, I like ALL SW sets), but doesn't work with the system scale ISD as hoped
-
But weak in a very good, commendable way. :-D
-
But get in anyway regardless of whether its about to stop being available. Its a damn good set.

That's all excellent, Yoda. Nice one!

I will get this, but not with any urgency. Sailbarge first. My one wish for this would have been another astromech ideally red or in some way different from R2-D2. My rationale is that R2-D2 isn't the only blue astromech and in face the minifigure coudl be any blue astromech, but he's still iconic. With Luke pilotting, its R2-D2. With Wedge pilotting, its another unnamed blue astromech. Or, what was the name of Wedge's Blue astroech at the Battle of Hoth? Anyone know? I just think I second astromech specifially for Wedge should have been included.

I have none, regrettably. Ninja happened during my lengthy "dark age". Being a dedicated Martial Artist, I really wish I'd got them. I suppose I coudl eBay / Bricklink for them but money is an issue now. Insofar as "are they a sub-catagory of castle", well, I'm certainly no expert on LEGO themes but I am a Martial Arts "expert". I do know which theme they are closest to - Star Wars! Not joking or trying to be clever. SW and Japanese Martial Arts have much in common - George Lucas used Japanese Martial Arts as a big inspiration for SW. Many aspects of Japanese culture and Martial Arts theory (including Ninja) can be found in SW. I can't see how Ninja could be a sub-category of SW, but I think its fair to say they are "theme cousins."

The last recorded death from a stingray was 1906. Their poison isn't particularly bad, but the barb (on the tail) penetrated his heart. I only know all this from the news this morning.

WHY does he have those red eyes. Is he about to become the Incredible Hulk? He's wearing redish sunglasses, is it just me or wasn't that rather obvious? D'Oh! What does he need sunglasses for when he's got a visor??? They arn't R2 torsos. By definition, the Torso is the abdomen and head. The piece is only the abdomen. Also, its more general than an R2 unit abdomen. Its also been used for R5-D4. I don't think the torso includes the head... Interesting. I just looked up "torso" on dictionary.com and it agrees with you. But I was always taught (professionally) that the torso definately included the head. That's why it differs from the "abdomen". Really I've never seen them in red, Just kidding, I know I know what you meant. But Even though your not a town fan a star wars fan like you should get this cheap set for force lightning for your sith lords! I hadn't thought of that. Good plan. Now, how do I attach them to Palpy's and Tyranus' hands....?

Nice one. I've had several pieces published in Better Than Life (The Official Red Dwarf Fan Club magazine). I'm currently waiting for an article to be published in Combat.

That was an excellent review. Thanks. I'm actually not into city sets anymore but that has picqued my interest. What I find interesting is the set number on the tail. I've not seen that before. Its a nice touch. WHY does he have those red eyes. Is he about to become the Incredible Hulk? They arn't R2 torsos. By definition, the Torso is the abdomen and head. The piece is only the abdomen. Also, its more general than an R2 unit abdomen. Its also been used for R5-D4. And I've not seen the flames in anything other than red either. Cool!

Ah c'mon... Batgirl. Alecia Silverstone. Skin tight PVC!!!

Vader's TIE was a TIE Advanced (X1 to be precise). Yes, the X-Wing had a Hyperdrive. In terms of money and its bearing on available technology - technology moves on. Look at the PC you could have bought for

Our own xwingyoda or the "real" Yoda?
-
THat's cool. They should hollow-out Yoda's head and have a pilot looking out from behind his eyes!

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/0345477...266239&v=glance Didn't read the Wiki article, but it isn't all fan written. This book is official. And yes, I'm just looking to how to connect Mouse droids together. Only think I can think of is thin cotton. No space for magnets

Does anyone have the instructions for the Mini Tantive 4 that comes with the UCS ISD that they're willing to share, please? I'm thinking it'll go well with the new system-scale ISD

Thoroughly enjoyable build and impressive on display. Some thoughts: The bridge doesn't look as bad as its made out to be. Though should have been covered. TOO MANY STICKERS!!! Escape pod - why? Emperor's hologram - I thought it would hinge or slide out of the way. Question: What generation is it from? It must be from ANH since Grand Moff Tarkin is in it. But the Emperor and Red Guards weren't seen in ANH. I suppose there's no reason why they couldn't have been there behind the scenes. Anyone got any ideas of how to make trains of Mouse droids, as they often are in trains, not solo

I've been lucky enough to pick them all up. Yes, eBay or BrickLink are your best bets. I like the minis, they're fun.
