I keep checking Peeron for sets that have these octagonal pieces in black because I want to do a Sith Starfighter. We've got the Astromech now from System ISD. A DV minifig is easy and cheap to come by. Need an imperial sticker to go over the Bendu symbol on the Jedi Starfighter. Some months ago, I posted a mini version of this. Why would TLC do one of these, anyway. Its EU. The only EU craft we've had was the TIE/d, which I'm sure is a joke name. Nice work, anyway

Because whereas the Republic Gunship (AKA the LAAT/i) sold on the basis of its identity and role in the movie, Mace was used to make the Turbo Tank desireable. Not that the Turbo Tank is a bad set, just that I think it probably sold more units on the basis of Mace being in it.

Welcome to EB, David. Please tell us a bit about yourself. Regarding wing mechanisms, OK the ARC's is a bit fragile but these mechanisms are still great to have. What would you prefer instead? I think its great that LEGO do things like this instead of either static open or closed wings or the stutter-hinges that we got with the first X-Wing.
