Looks fun. The parachute coming out of the figure's head rather than backback does of reduce its realism somewhat. Should be detachable.

Something that occurs to me: General Grievous ship is missing OWK. One extra minifig that would cost next to nothing as its alreay exists would make a huge difference to this set. Another thought - how about a LULS General Grievous?

The problem with this thread is going to be different tongues, different word components and different way of explaining how to pronounce something. I have no idea how to pronouce "dzjee". I would pronounce "Kikuichimonji" as "key-koo-ichee-mon-jee". The "jee" as in "jeep" or "Jesus". The "J" and "G" have possibly the most varied pronunciations of any consonant, hence the recent thread that looked at how "Jipay" is pronouced. My surname "Jones" is accepted as being Welsh, yet it can't be - there's no "J" in the Welsh alphabet! The only way to understand how to pronounce names would be to hear them.

I sense a new title. :-D I did think of that. But hey, it has to be better than Polyvinylchloride, doesn't it?

Who said I'm a rebel? I could just be an innocent individual, passing by on my T-16 :-D

I understand there's a new fighting force that specialise in breathing and internal energy based graceful fighting: The Tai Chi Army!

I love my ARC 170. I think its a great set. Seriously swooshable.
-
The Thai Army? Warning, they have formidable boxing skills. No match for a Lightsaber, though.

ACE = Angiotensin Converting Enzyme! As in ACE Inhibitors (certain heart tablets)

What was that I said sometime that everyone loved? Something to the effect of there are no illegal techniques in LEGO. Though I would call the use of foreign substances such glue illegal.
-
Please forgive me if I seem patronising, but I'll just ask, just in case (no idea of your experience of LEGO)... Did you get a strange grey piece with two technic holes in that doesn't seem to serve any purpose? The rubber bands are wrapped around it. Off topic, has anyone put this piece to use anywhere?

I'm surprised no-one's raised this already. This Top Gear stunt accident that has left Richard Hammond hospitalised with severe injuries. Here's hoping that he makes a fast and full recovery.

I thought the "316" was a reference to WWE - Austin 3:16 and all that rubbish.

OK, I voted "yes". I liked the premise of FBTB. I left because it was marred by a bunch of pr1cks. A FBTB without said people could be excellent. And Yes, SW has almost taken over the "theatre" area so having its own area would make space for other lines.

That's excellent. The teeth don't look right at all - too jagged, but aside from that, brilliant. Even the background has been well done.

What Yoda said. Spot on

Again because all connotations of my name were taken back in '97 when I got inline. Peter, PeterJones, MrJones, NurseJones, PJones etc. Didn't want a random number appended so I started looking to my other interests, one being Red Dwarf. Captain Tau has cropped up three times in Red Dwarf, though most people will never have heard of her. That's right, HER. I remembered there was a Captain Tau in one of the novels. It passed me by that it was a she. And both other incarnations were female, I later discovered. Never mind, it still works. Its all lower case and one word because of some sites using case-sentitive loggin and me being lazy. I wouldn't dream of changing it as I've been using it for 10 years now pretty much everywhere on the web. Here, I seem to get referred to as "Cap" or The Captain. I'm not actually Captain of anything, though I'll answer to pretty much anything. On Martial Arts forums, I'm generally known as "CT". Strangely, I also answer to "Pete"!

FANTASTIC OK, General Grievous' ship isn't as good as hoped, but its still not bad. Everything else is brilliant. I'll be getting one of each.

You're 80 ! Wow, congratulations. Double-T. You're looking good for your age

How Well Do You Like the Ninja Theme?
captaintau replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Well, in reality, the Samurai were the bad guys. They were an oppressive class-orientated war-loving government. The Ninja were neither good nor bad guys. They would occassioanally defend a village against a Daimyo (Samurai retainer) for the sake of the freedom of that village, but generally were hired by the Samurai to act as hidden bodyguards, spies or assassins. -
Star wars sets we'd like to see
captaintau replied to Clone comander Nodra 999's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Why not just make it life-sized while you're at it? :-P Good plan!
