Mrs Tau has asked for a list of LEGO that I would like for my upcoming birthday. I just surfed for the set number for Arkham on eBay and S@H and I can't find it. Is it no longer available? Given that money is VERY tight at the moment, do I need to get it NOW before it starts fetching stupid prices on eBay? And what is the set number, please?

There's a thread somewhere. In the EB information forum, I think, that describes hwo many posts it takes to reach citizen, knight, count etc. It shows symbols for ranks which are based on stars and shields. Certainly the symbols and maybe the rank titles are out of date. I'd just like an update, please. I think it would be useful for the the forum. Also to see the admin/mod groups and their symbols.

OK, I don't like LULS either but with us having a LULS Vader, I really think we should have a LULS Luke just for completeness. Then we're set for Vader vs Luke I'd buy one.

I've just noticed that I've been promoted to "Knight". A search reveals that this happens at 500 posts. But that thread seemed out of date, like - We now have root admins and global admins - Fellows? - Rank pictures have changed I just think an update would be useful. P.S., obviously I'm a plastic knight given that title+rank = polyvinylchloride knight!

Actually, helicopters need more space than people think to take off and land. They certainly don't land completely vertically. Nice pics. Looking forward to buying the sets. 2007 is getting expensive.

X-O Fantastic!!! It all seemed to happen just because I didn't check in as early as I normally do. Am I right in seeing the Jedi Starfighter has BLACK octagonal wings? That's what I need for my Darth Vader version. Now I just need to work out hwo to remove or cover the Bendu symbol on the sides of the cockpit. The MTT looks amazing. So does the hyper ring. The Naboo I'm not over-fussed about, but it looks a welcome upgrade to the Droid Fighter which has been rubbish up to now. I stand by my earlier guess regarding the MF with Anakin - its Roc Olie or someone similar - a Royal Naboo Pilot. Interchangeable with Anakin.

We need some new SW technic. I hardly have any of the original sets and can't afford the cost of them now. Doesn't look like we'll get any in 2007.

Semi-off topic for a second. Someone above talked about the second Batman film. Well, I had the fortune to train with the principal stuntman on the first two Batman films, Dave Lee, who doubled for Michael Keaton lots. The Penguin's goons attack, one pops up in front of Batman and gets headbutted - not planned. Goon was out of place and that was the best that Sensei Dave could. The director loved it and kept it. Sorry. Hope that interested someone.

I'm Pete (or Captain Tau), I'm nearly 28 and I'm from Worcestershire, England. I'm a Nurse by profession and my "hobbies" are primarily Martial Arts (I run an Aiki-Jujitsu club), music and LEGO. My LEGO interest is Star Wars, but I'm also loving Batman. Its a pleasure being a part of EB.

Oh yeah, I forget about the first MF. It was released before I rediscovered LEGO and having the newer MF in find the old MF is one of the very few sets I have no interest in owning. So I frequently forget it even existed,

Got mine today and just finished it. I know, I said in another thread I can't afford it. I can't. But I have. General comments: - very nice. I'm impressed. Fun build. Smooth cockpit rotation about 90 degrees. - No controls in the cockpit. Shoudl have a panel or steering wheel or lever or something. - Blaster: excellent. and the internal clip for it - PIlot: excellent. Welcome addition to the Imperial ranks - Cockpit joins hips: instructions not over clear which studs and holes to use. I took a guess and it seems I was right. - Eye flaps:I like them. Well positioned to look down at the jungle floor - Where? This is being promoted on box art etc as an Endor set. I don't see why it wouldn't fit perfectly into a Hoth set. - What could we improve? I'll probably get threatened with being struck down for this, but here goes. The AT-AT had a Luke hanging from it. The MF had a Snow Trooper with a repeating blaster. The AT-St could have done with an Ewok included in the set. Would have increased playability value exponentially

Can anyone see the potential for another "Ultimate Space Battle" / "TIE Fighter VS Y-Wing" type set?

Tan 8x8 plates that go on the top of the Sail Barge. The intructions show them as mesh pieces but for some buyers, there was an addendum page to the instructions replacing them with non-mesh 8x8 plates. We guess it was doen because of a shortage of mesh-pieces. I think some 'phoned LEGO and asked for the correct pieces. I BL'd them.

I BL'd the replaced pieces. Its worth it. Looks better as it was supposed to be

I also spent hours as a kid trying to make transforming LEGO. I worked hard my Inspector Gadget car which sort-of worked, but didn't look anything like the actual car :-/ .

So that's how old you are! ;-)

Mine arrived thsi morning. Its good. Due to being seriously broke, I'll be aiming the buy the new sets at at one per month, starting with the cheapest. Its sad, but necessary, I just wonder: what IS that carrier thing? Doesn't appear in the New Essential Guide to Vessels and Vehicles or the Wookieepedia. Is it LEGO applying some artistic licence?
