    It's been some time since I've uploaded anything to the site, so I thought I would share my modded Pet Shop. It is a single apartment above the store with a front and rear entrance. The base is 32x32. I forgot how to add spoiler tags so here is a wall of pictures. Front of the Building The front shows a nicely centered second and third floors. Back Here you can see my terrible door design on the small balcony. The Shop has many animals and pet supplies and also a bathroom. View from front WIP - The second floor will feature a living space, kitchen, fireplace, and a small balcony in the back. Still need to work on furniture for this floor and the half wall behind the kitchen to divide the area. Top Floor WIP - Top floor is the bedroom and the bathroom. I plan on adding a larger bed and possibly a wardrobe or large dresser.

    I really like all of the interior pictures and the overall look of the exterior. The different angles almost make it seem like a different building all together. One question, Is there a way to get to that 3rd floor and lovely roof? Also, those are the same two fire trucks that I use! Am planning on making something that hopefully fits with those $6 trucks tho.

    I know this probably is the wrong thread for this, but I have(had?) a Town Hall on backorder until the 20th. After checking my bank today, Lego seems to have never charged me for the TH. The payment was pending but now it is just not there. When I check the order status on lego.com it says that the Toy Workshop has been shipped a few days ago and the Town Hall is "In Process". All of these rumors (for now) of TH being retired is getting me pretty worried about missing out on it, and I was just wondering if anyone else could shed some light on the subject for me. I've never had anything on backorder from Lego before.

    Soo I can buy either another Town Hall or Pet Shop come Friday. I want to have 2 of each set so I can MOD them and make them pretty. Which do you think is more likely to stay "Sold Out" or "Out of Stock" or god forbid retiring?

    As for table space, I have a 4' x 8' table to grow and build my little city on in a spare bedroom. I don't have many doubles of my moudlars....yet. But soon I shall have 2x Town Hall and 2x Pet Shop to play around with. For now, I will leave my 48x48 base Grand Emporium. to reference. Compared to one that is 2 GE, but taller I could see how some buildings look better taller and some would look better wider. I am planning on expanding the length of my Fire Brigade about 6-8 studs back so I can finally fit my big hands in there.

    Just a random question about people's opinions on the modulars. When you MOD, combine multiple sets, do you like to make the sets taller or wider than the original? For me I prefer to widen the bases before I even think about adding more floors, but this could just be due to where I live. There aren't too many tall skinny buildings in my area.

    I am really glad i bought mine yesterday morning. Now i just need a second Town Hall and second Pet Shop and my wallet can rest easy for a couple months with no fears of the others retiring soon. Lets hope TH is back in stock on monday when I get paid!

    This looks really great, and has been the direction I've been taking my modulars as well. I really like how many different rooms you added to really flesh out the house.

    love the greenhouses. The fence is a really interesting idea I hadn't considered. Looks great!

    Such a great project. It must have taken some time to build. The finished product looks amazing!
