He shouted the words, but found his voice more powerful then he expected, he changed the spell mid-chant, and unleashed a powerful blast of frigid magic. The stuff froze Al to his core, and he fell unconscious. Ed too fell to the cold, dropping his mate's unconscious form and stumbling himself. Drake swung his sword at the Dagger, but caught the Cloak instead, hurting the fallen sorcerer. Karie, empowered by her mead, stabbed Ed, puncturing his cloak, and his side.
