Very clever presentation brickarmy! Now you only need to include a futuristic version of the species. Great job!

The long wait is worth it seeing this magnificent piece of artwork, the sheer massive size is highly-impressive as well as the overall detailing. No complaints from me and congratulations on this truly wonderful build!

A very cute creation and impressively-done too using only basic bricks. The design is simply spot-on and the finished product is a great LEGO version of Papa Smurf. Excellent work!
-
Quite an impressive brickbuilt rendition of the Jurassic Park Tour Car, the colors are spot-on as wells as the other minor details, and I really like the use those windshield pieces. Great job once more!

A nicely-done mini-build, it's like an even smaller version of an already small mini-Azkaban Prison by Legostein. Good work!

I share the same sentiment, if there is no immediate need of properly 'disposing' this ultra-rare item I'd suggest to hold on it for a bit more time since its value will definitely increase more and you'll get more out of it. But if you really want to sell it right now I'm pretty sure you'll still get a considerable amount from it. You and your son are extremely lucky to have that prized item so I hope you make an excellent deal out of it.

This is simply detailing at its best - from the unique slanted pavement pattern to the realistic woodwork of the structures - everything is just uniquely-designed and intricately-executed. Yet another impressive creation SoT!

I never knew Starbucks has this small kiosks as I've never seen one on this part of the globe, but this is really a nice build and I particularly like the accurate-looking coffee cups and coffee bean sack with a personal touch (handprinted details). Well done!

A high-quality vig with fantastic little details - suitcases for drawers, broken window glass, and the clever technic stopper in the safe. Excellent work Diidy!

I've seen fantastic "Wave-MOCs" before but this one is definitely the most creative with the unique and excellently-done wave base. Truly an impressive work Klementina!

I really like the design of the decals, though I wish the face decal could've been applied better. But it doesn't take away the fact that if these will definitely look great if these were actual prints on a minifig since these look like they're designed by a professional.

Very little MOC feedback - what to do about it
XimenaPaulina replied to Lasse D's topic in Community
This is a very interesting discussion, though I was quite surprised to see that my primary reason for not commenting on a MOC is not included in the poll - which is simply because I have no interest on the build to offer my comments. It doesn't matter whether the MOC is a good one or bad, if it doesn't pique my interest then I have nothing to say at all. Good MOCs certainly get my attention and most of the time I give my 2 cents to congratulate the builder for a job well done and I usually offer constructive criticism when I see MOCs/builders that might need some improvement. -
Wow I'm actually surprised to hear very positive views of this movie in this thread, because I personally find it not enteraining at all and was a complete waste of time of money for me. I'm no expert movie critic and just an average movie goer so the way I judge a movie is if I got "entertained" after I watched a certain film, and sadly after watching TF3 I felt "empty" and did not enjoy even one bit of the movie. Don't get me wrong, I'm no Transformers-hater, I actually liked the first movie so much that it is up to this day one of my top entertaining movies I have ever watched, but I just didn't find that exciting and thrilling element on this one. This one was excruciatingly-long with a dragging storyline, the action scenes were not up to par with those in the two previous films, and I find the humor very "forced" and corny most of the time. And believe me I'm not the type to be overly too critical of movies, I even consider myself the "shallowest" movie buff around who can be entertained by mediocre flicks, but I'm sorry to say (and feel) that TF3 just didn't make an impact on me like I would've wanted it to have. (And just to be sure that I'm not going nuts, I even asked my family and friends who saw it and good thing they had the sentiments as me, so I wasn't alone in my views of the movie.)

Lego 8426 Disney's CARS Escape at Sea Review
XimenaPaulina replied to legofan's topic in LEGO Licensed
I agree. As much as these new Cars characters look interesting, I don't feel any 'connection' to them yet since I haven't seen the movie. Though I have to admit McMissile looks to be a real cool character much like its brickbuilt version. -
[REVIEW] 7962 Anakin Skywalker and Sebulba's Podracers
XimenaPaulina replied to parchioso's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thanks for sharing this review, I agree this is the best of the 2011 SW Summer sets, and the perfect opportunity for me (and others) who've missed the previous versions to finally own these podracers. The highly-detailed minifigs are definitely significant upgrades (esp. Sebulba and Watto) and it's always nice to get another Rodian in Wald. -
Excellent review Oky, thanks for doing a proper review on this set - the high quality photos and commentary are great as always ! This is easily the best set in the Cars line-up IMO simply because of the wonderful minifig car line-up. You only need 8206 to get Luigi and Guido and 8486 to get Mack and you'll complete the original Cars characters (only those made by LEGO of course). With regards to the other characters, I think we'll get them in future sets as long as the license continues.

A nicely done clone vig once again MB, though I think you could have made one or two of the clones appear like they're floating underwater, or 'moving slowly' like what simon said.
-
Yes I did some cleaning, specifically moving the off-topic availability discussions to the proper topic.

Welcome to EB Claas! That's a nice custom StarCorps platoon you have there, good job on combining the custom pieces with the standard ones, as well as making your own handprints on the pieces (very cleanly done I must say). Even if this focused mainly on the custom figs, I'm going to give it some exposure here so more LSW fans can see it.

Have a great birthday Morten! Cheers for more happy years (and building for more fantastic SW dios)!
-
A very entertaining scene, I love the nice little details packed in this vig, particularly the water fountain, DS-like shrub and Vader scarecrow. Good job!
-
Very professional-looking decals! Your custom Thor looks really accurate with the movie version (Chris Hemsworth), the IJ head and girl hair is a perfect combo. Even the brickbuilt Mjolnir is very well done. Great job overall!

Very nice subtle mods that significantly improved the 8018 model. Well done!

This is more fit in the MCW forum, so I'll move it there, where there are more chances other customizers can help you with your question.

As much as I'd love to have the chance to play for this game, I'm afraid I'll be extremely busy this July so I won't be able to commit my time. However, this really looks promising with the special game mechanics so I'll try to watch intently from the sidelines. Best of luck to Quarry and to the chosen participants!
