LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
XimenaPaulina replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I haven't been in the discussions lately, but has it been confirmed that it'll be a "Kamino" BP? And I think it makes perfect sense for this new concept of "mixed BP" to have just an equal number of characters: 2 ARCs + 2 Commando Droids (the best-of-the-best from each side) will do. Throwing an ARF there and/or an Aqua droid will be too much of a Mixed BP IMO and defeats the purpose of easy army building which BPs are designed for. I'm also quite interested to know if the ARCs will sport Phase I or Phase II armour, considering the upcoming TCW Season is already on Phase II. -
I like it, epecially how you managed to squeeze in the various greebling details on the four "sides" of this unique starfighter. Nice work and good luck with this entry!
-
I remember this scene in that particular CW episode and you really captured the overall aura of this Trandoshan Hunting Lodge. I like the funny variation of the "alien" head decors, but my most favorite has gotta be that Wampa "Chair Skin". Great work Ninja Jin!
-
Yeah I know I barely have time now to visit the forum, moreso to participate in the discussions. I'm really missing my EB activity big-time. Yeah I haven't done Saesee's and Adi's Delta 7Bs yet.
-
@MB: Extremely busy life recently has unfortunately forced me into some 'Dark Age' in MOCing, how I wish I could return soon since I really miss building too. I'll try my damned best to find time (and inspiration) to get back to MOCing. Thanks for the kind words anyway.

Another great-looking build Doc, it was really a pleasure looking at the various details you've put into this beauty - it's like you 'left no stones unturned' with regards to the highly-articulated detailing of this MOC. Really an impressive work on this one!

[MOC] "Micro Collection" Death Star Escape
XimenaPaulina replied to BaronSat's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Excellent job capturing the overall look of this 'micro-collection DS' toy perfectly in brickbuild BaronSat! And as always the presentation is as flawless as the build. -
Another fantastic and entertaining MOC Mood, you've certainly made a convincing Samurai version of Vader thanks to his helmet that's the same shape that of a samurai. The flat samurai sword is very clever too, I like that detail very much. Excellent work once again!
-
This is certainly a hundred times better than the first version, kudos for the continuous improvement Hollander! Though I don't know how you could still top this one as it already look perfect to me at midi-scale, perhaps expanding it to an ambitious UCS-scale one?

Back To The Future III (WW Category 1 Train)
XimenaPaulina replied to PrinceWilliam's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Perfect! You really captured this movie scene right on the money, add the fact that I love this movie series big time, I simply adore this build so much. I hope you win since this outstanding entry really deserves it IMO. -
I'm not familiar with the source material but I must say you really did an exquisite job on creating this very unique build BadLeo! The fact that you were able to realize all those tricky parts of this unusual structure in brickbuild convincingly is definitely a mightily impressive feat. Truly an outstanding work!
-
A great expansion of your Dunmir House, I really like the tattered roof of the second structure, and the surrounding greeneries as well as the use of two shades of brown for a more realistic dirt road.
-
A pretty good little medieval house, very compact yet looks really cozy inside even without interiors. Well done Davor!
-
Fantastic creation LL! There are really lots of entertaining details to see in this build - from the well-done rock formations to the creepy dead black tree to the unique design of the four sides of the towers - everything is excellently-done!
-
A pretty nice take on the AT-RT Rocken, and since there has been a myriad of ways to build this walker as shown by various MOCers I suggest you modify yours according to your liking and not much based on accuracy, since this is really a very tricky build to do and you'll just end up with several versions if you gun for high accuracy.

What was the last movie you watched?
XimenaPaulina replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Not only that, but the Attack of Voldemort's Dark Wizard Legion (is that even the proper term?) on Hogwarts is very LOTR-like. I'm not really a fan this movie franchise, but it was pretty good ending IMO, though not spectacular by my standards. -
An entertaining and 'thought-provoking' mini-MOD on Luke's Landspeeder to say the least, and quite informative too (for me) as I only knew now the behind-the-scene basis of this MOD.
-
A very well done Z-95 Headhunter, I really like the overall smooth presentation/build a lot that I don't even had to compare it to the reference image to check on the accuracy. Great job!
-
Quite an interesting build Tricky-Brick, a unique idea for a luxury transport with some nice details, particularly the side viewing decks and interior. Only thing I would have wanted to see are more details and/or curved slopes on the side surface of the main cockpit, which is a bit plain and straight-edged.
-
This is such an extremely impressive creation Arzlan! It definitely has that instant "Wow-factor" at first glance and upon closer look I can really appreciate the unique and intricate detailing of this build, my favorite of which is the clever use of the Gungan head ears. Truly an outstanding work!
-
You really did an excellent job on this RGS MOC 501st Commando, this one is very uniquely-built and highly-accurate too in terms of the proper smoothened surfaces. This is certainly one of the best RGS MOCs I've seen. I've planned on doing this type of SNOT build too before but the main reservation I had is the angling of the 'sloping surface assembly at the top' (the plane carrying the cockpits). I couldn't tell by your pics but is that assembly sturdily connected to the body? Or does it just rest on top of the slopes?

"Let's Finish This the Way it Started.... Together"
XimenaPaulina replied to Infomaniac's topic in LEGO Licensed
Fantastic creation Infomaniac! You really captured the overall essence of the scene perfectly in brickbuild, not 'as dark' as in the movie but better this way since it retains the LEGO look of it. Truly an impressive work! -
You really are carving out your own niche in the 'LSW MOC-lore' with your continuous and consistent Clone Mission vigs MB, and this one is as interesting as your other previous MOCs. What stands out for me in this one is the effective posing of the clone gunning down the crab droid from above. Great job as always and keep it up!

Truly an outstanding architectural build, I simply love the window design and the varying shades of red for a realistic brick wall effect. Thanks for sharing this excellent work of yours!
