  1. Very good review, thanks for sharing NTF! This is definitely a significant upgrade from the previous 7665 Frigate design-wise, but for some reason reason I still prefer the more regal dark red color scheme of the old one. The minifig line-up of this set is a WIN for me. I know how much other dislike the CW figs, but I'm very happy to see two new jedi figs, and those Wolfpack troopers are certainly must-haves for any clone army builder. The price is expectedly high, no surprises about that, and since I don't have any interest in the frigate I might just have to purchase the minifigs separately or wait for them to be released on a less expensive set.
  2. Great job on expanding the size of the Khetanna StoutFiles, it looks a hundred times better at that size. And indeed, the spacious interior provides room for building more details inside (though I guess you wouldn't put any since this is for display purposes only right?) Very well done!
  3. Very clever use of the Bionicle mask, it's as if it's tailor-fit for the ogre, and makes it look even more menacing. Nice work DD!
  4. A very menacing and intimidating battle mech, I love the overall muscular bulky design and the heavy weaponry. Great job!
  5. Now your army certainly looks more impressive with the clones in lined-up formation.
  6. Simply an outstanding creation BaronSat! Once again, you've shown your amazing attention to details and you've really captured the overall look of the real T-600 Terminator in this brickbuilt version. Excellent work as always!
  7. Wow, what a mightily impressive creation George! The sheer size of this build is simply a sight to behold, and the overall smooth finish and detailing are truly fantastic. Really an excellent work! Though I'm curious to know how much this beast weighs?
  8. Funny thing that's my initial reaction too when I saw this standard Sandcrawler. Back on topic, as much as display cases are great for storage and proper presentation of models, the problem with these types of standard cases is that they are somehow limited to a single set, diorama, or vehicle. For someone who has a sizeable SW collection, lots of these would have to be purchased, that's why I still prefer custom-made display cabinets so you can display more and you'll have more freedom in layouting/designing the display.
  9. That's a great Horn Company army The Darkness! Though I still fail to understand up to this day what a super army of Citrus BS clones will do, a scenario where there are lots of bombs to detonate seems very unrealistic to me.
  10. An excellent-looking 5-wide muscle car, the white strip on the blue body really gives an overall cool look on this ride. Nice water effect too on the presentation!
  11. The embassy building itself is very well-built with its conservative but realistic design. Kudos too on the accompanying detailed backstory (even if I'm not a fan of the violent subject).
  12. Wow, another impressive build FC, there are lots of interesting elements that I really like in this building - the curved roof, the intricate and unique floor tile work of the interior, and the roofed side stairs. Great job once again!
  13. I love the make-shift look of the pick-up, the improvised protective plates and armor are quite realistic and reminiscent of the ones I see in the movies/tv. The machine gun at the back is nicely done too.
  14. Same here, I didn't know the previous version was so inaccurately small, so it's a great thing that the size was appropriately fixed in this version. I would have wanted to have a combination of the smoothness of the 7663 Scimitar and the proper size of this new one, though it's perfectly understandable due to parts limitation. I also have mixed feelings about the figs, the updated Padme and Panaka are great, but the new Qui-Gon and Maul faces are quite disappointing, I prefer their original '99 face prints over these new ones. But overall, this still looks to be a good buy particularly to those who have missed the previous releases of the Sith Infiltrator.
  15. Very unique and ingenious build Dan! The execution of the triangular tower/bridge is excellently done.
  16. It's always nice to see variation in standard LSW vehicles, and this Shadow N-1 Starfighter looks really cool with its black-grey color scheme. And I bet it will be a whole lot better if the black was combined with the UCS chrome parts. Well done!
  17. Thanks for sharing this review, though like the others I'm not a fan of this set since it's almost the same as its previous release. I really wish that when TLG decides to remake a certain model there should be significant improvements - I'm still dreaming of the day when we'll finally get a properly-chromed N-1 starfighter in a regular, non-UCS set (I wouldn't mind shelling out a few more bucks for a more accurate and elegant looking ship).
  18. Wow, thanks for sharing with EB this fantastic build of yours gearcs! I'm very impressed with the overall realistic feel of this creation, particularly brought about by the color and surface variation of the walls and the ground. Extremely well done!

  20. Another very good military vehicle design Horry, it's instantly recognizable as a light tank and the futuristic design is quite realistic. Nice to see once again your unique presentation of the vehicle specs.
  21. I simply the small but beautiful details of this building, particularly the inverted arch pieces for the wavy-look for the roof, and the 'sculpted detailing' on top of the windows. Very well done Scrat!

  24. Excellent use of those huge airplane pieces! The shape really fits this Stealth Bomber perfectly.
  25. Pretty good brickbuilt rendition of this Start Trek rifle Horry! The basic shape is quite accurate judging from this reference image. A nicely done work from the past!
