  1. Simply beautiful creation! The brilliant outdoor photography effectively adds another level of realism to these cute brickbuilt sparrows. Great job!
  2. While I agree that it would be really cool to introduce a commando squad and develop their characters, the problem is the series has clearly failed in doing that (so far) to the "main clone trooper" in the series - Rex, what more introducing new clone characters so late into the storyline. I think the best we'd get is Fives' and Echo's multiple appearances (showing their development from cadets, rookies, to being part of the famed 501st), or probably a single episode showcasing a commando squad - but more than that? I don't think the series have the time to insert them that deep into the storyline since from what we're seeing now the focus is more on the events of the CW and on main characters which they have previously 'forgotten'. Which brings me to my next point in relation to the article above, I'm most looking forward to Rex's story arc - it's about time they give him more screen time and character development, particularly how they'll tackle his fate (and eventual absence in RoTS).
  3. Very clever and funny use of the Stormie clock, and I could just imagine this adult trooper uttering those playful words like a child. (Oh, and since this is more of a photography than a MOC, I'll give it some time here before merging this later with the SW Funnies thread. )
  4. What a funny little MOC! I really like how well-designed the boxing ring is with a modern look and that intricately-patterned canvass, but the fighting droids is simply a hilarious idea and certainly put a smile on my face. Lovely work as always!
  5. Wow, fantastic decal-making (Dutch)! I simply love how accurately-designed and seamlessly applied those highly-detailed decals are. Very professional customization!
  6. I've always been impressed with your brick-built weapons that I regularly see in your vigs, and showcasing them in this custom squad really makes them standout, even more than the purist custom figs. Well done!
  7. Simple but highly creative, particularly the clever use of the trident. Very well done!
  8. You never really cease to amaze us with your fantastic mini-creations Chris! Even if I'm not that familiar with both of these EU ships I do not even need to see the reference material to tell how well-designed these minis are with your signature clever techniques. Great job as usual and always looking forward for your next creations.
  9. Ok guys pls. stay on topic, negative criticisms are acceptable as long as it focuses on the review/set and not towards a member. If you have a problem with a certain member, use the PM function and communicate privately as the others don't want to read your ramblings against one another. Consider this a last warning. EDIT: All off-topic argumentative posts were removed. Pls. continue with a 'healthy' discussion on this highly-controversial set.
  10. I've always been a fan of brickbuilt renditions of real objects, and this is certainly one of them. I simply love the proper balance of accurately overall shape and design while still retaining the "bricky-LEGO" look of it. Fantastic job PG, definitely a frontpage-worthy creation. Rock on Dude!
  11. FINALLY, a fantastic brickbuilt rendition of the Jedi High Council Room! Really great work overall, from the various SNOT techniques to approximate the tricky circular shape of the floor to the effective backdrop pillars and window railings. I've been meaning to do this one also for the longest time but had to put it on hold when busy life struck, but I'm glad you've pulled off this one wonderfully Skrytsson! Thanks for sharing.
  12. Granted.
  13. Very creepy and 'beautifully-done' at the same time. Great job capturing the overall look of the reference character in this custom fig. Your hand-painting skills are very commendable and the chopped-off clown headpiece is really clever.
  14. Very nice, I'm really impressed how you packed this X-Wing with all the interesting and accurate details considering it's in mini-scale. Great job!
  15. Another quality mini-creation Chris, I very well remember this unique ship in that particular CW episode and you've really captured the shape convincingly. Excellent work once again!

  17. There you go!
  18. It's still Aug. 29th in my part of the world (and EB time), so you're still not technically eligible for one... Nah, just kidding. Enjoy your new tag!
  19. Great news to those who're planning on getting this one! I'll let this topic open for some time before merging this with the existing SW Sets Availanility thread later.
  20. At first glance it really looks like the real thing, outstanding job capturing the overall shape and look very accurately!
  21. Merging this with the existing thread...
  22. Excellent review CloneyO! Thanks for doing a proper RA review on this, which is probably one of the best sets of recent times. TLG really did a great job updating both of these podracers, and this is one of those sets where the minifigs aren't the main selling point but rather the vehicles themselves. And this is also a perfect opportunity for those who've missed the previous release to finally get one.
  23. おめでとうございます。def! Have a great day pal!
  24. Congratulations on this outstanding collaborative work with lain, SI-mocs! Two fantastic MOCs in less than a week is really very impressive.
