  1. Very unique use of the samurai sword in the head, and the battlepack in the end is quite awesome IMO, especially the use of the trans pieces for the laser sword, force-shield and angel wing tips. Great design!
  2. Very nice work TBA! I simply love the overall SNOT finish of this build, from the steampunk vehicle to the base (interestingly, the only studs showing are those of the smoke). Well done and thanks for sharing!
  3. Fantastic work once again Ralph, as always I love how you effectively use SNOT techniques while retaining a studded look in the model. Curiously though, have you ever considered doing an all-SNOT (or majorly smooth) build? Also, are the wings supposed to appear slightly bending upwards? I've seen only straight wings in reference images, though I'm sure you know better than me since you've seen these in real life. (Sorry to bug you with these questions, this MOC really piqued my interest. ) Interestingly, as a Star Wars fan, if I remember my facts correctly I think this is where the ARC-170 starfighter is based on.
  4. Another brilliant creation SI, I love the overall alien-like design of this drone starfighter, particularly the excellent use of curved slopes and wedges. The 'stud gaps' at the edges of the curved pieces provide an interesting (and I assume unintentional) detailing that goes well with the side greebles. Great job once again!
  5. Another very well done creation SF! The bunny and fruits are cute and I love the internal filling detail of the mini-cake.
  6. Great review darkdragon, thanks for sharing! I think this is a pretty decent set if you look at it in a non-AFOL way. The target audience is obviously the kids, and I'm pretty sure this would appeal to them quite nicely having 3 main character minifigs and a bunch of building parts, all in a $20 price tag which ain't bad overall. Though a minor nitpick is Sandy still hasn't got her flower print on her helmet, considering the recent trend of highly-detailed printing on minifigs.
  7. Indeed a fantastic work realizing the digital game version into physical build! And I applaud you for making the extra effort to put this additional contribution to the underwater themed month aside from your excellently-done customized minifig. I guess water really is The Penguin's best friend!
  8. Very nice Chris! The blue and white color of the 4098 set does scream 'Blade of Dorin' right from the very first glance. As always the way you effectively utilized the pieces to come up with this alternate build is really impressive.
  9. Castlometry Ingenious, Imaginative, Impressive. Eurobricks newcomer RoxYourBlox shares with us his collection of intriguing and unique geometrical-shaped LDD castle designs, with some of them already realized in brickbuild while others still on their way. He's even generous enough to share the LXFs so you could take a closer look, marvel on, and learn from the clever building techniques employed in these creative digital MOCs. 10. Indeed. Seeing the second sneak preview really got me excited, I noticed how the cinematics (shot angles, background sound effects) have become more movie-like than just a tv show. Can't wait to see this season to start, and hoping it would be better than the previous ones.
  11. I HIGHLY suggest people to reserve judgement of the upcoming sets until they see better and confirmed pics. Like what Kim said, these are prelims so don't take them too seriously as they're bound to change. I don't really see the point of complaining this early only to find out later that final designs are completely much better than the ones we're seeing now.
  12. What I really like about this alternative build is that you were still able to use the light brick in an effective way in that mini-light house. And that water dragon is cute! Very well done as always Chris!
  13. I like the digital graphics work that you did there - very clean and looks professionally-made even if you did not use Photoshop, really well done! This idea of a Licensed Collectible Minifigure Series is probably something TLG can explore in the future? I'm looking forward then seeing your DW custom figs.
  14. An excellent creation -R8-, very artistic and creatively-done! Looking at the flowing tears in this owl table fountain really gives an emotional connection to the viewer (for me at least). Great work!
  15. Ingenious, Imaginative, Impressive. These are all highly-creative conceptualized LDD designs realized perfectly in real brickbuild. Truly outstanding work RoxYourBlox, I'm excited to see more out-of-this-world designs and creations from you. BTW, I've already added these beauts to the LDD MOC Index.
  16. Great review darkdragon! It's always nice to see reviews of these cute Fabuland sets as they introduce the newer generation of FOLs to this part of LEGO history. I also like the unconventional black backdrop used instead of the usual white, it's quite refreshing but still effective. Very well done and hope to see more from you!
  17. We miss you Z! In case you happen to drop by, hope you have/had a great one!
  18. Yep I LEGO-fied the old lightsaber tag. A blue Jedi LS and red Sith LS tags are also available, and I'm still thinking on what I should do with them (critera to give them to select members).

  19. I always love to see BTTF MOCs as I'm a big fan of the movie franchise as well. The scene depicted may not be accurately based on the movie but I really like the overall simplistic beauty of this build. Very well done and good luck!
  20. The BluRay one is so funny yet so true at the same time! Gotta love the perfect facial expressions and the clean PS edits.
  21. Fantastic mini-build Doc! I'm an instant fan of that mini-ARC 170, lots of neat techniques and parts usage. And you sure are taking my request to spread some CW love to heart (even it it took some 'pre-handling sterilization' ).
  22. And I never thought we'd ever see the review of this crazy expensive fig, so thanks a lot for sharing this commdr_neyo! I'll be adding this to the index later. You sure are lucky to own this, I also wish I could have mine in the future.
  23. Haha, what a lovely build! Those SNOTed backdrop curtain is a nice clever detail on the stage. And the idea of a dancing gorilla is really hilariously-entertaining!
  24. And you're really doing a fine job expanding your horizon with these funny and entertaining mini-builds! The small T-Rex and frog pieces mesh well with the CMS Dino guy, and that salmon-fishing is simply a well-designed scene. Great job as always!
  25. Very nice! You really captured the overall shape and look of real women's shoes, though I'm pretty sure they'll love it even better when there's some 'bling-bling' stones, gems, and other ornaments here and there to spruce up the design. Good job!
