  1. I'm impressed with how you built the jedi book rack, the use of the trans-blue plates is very clever and highly resembles what we saw in the jedi library in the movies/series. It's really nice to see some SW elements that haven't been done in lego before, and this is one of it. Good job Corleciel!
  2. Great shots as usual smokebelch. The desert setting looks like the Sand people are really in Tatooine. Very nicely done.
  3. Nice photos of Carl and Roc on their D.C. tour. The last photo is simply hilarious. So where will the duo's next adventure be?
  4. Happy birthday to Zorbas and to all other celebrants as well! Have a nice day guys!
  5. Nice improvisation of Dr_Legoman's design. Good to see that.
  6. Another great MOC Leo-J! I've always admired your unique MOC ideas, and this is certainly one of them. Funny and very well built, good job as always!
  7. Very impressive collection of trucks and cars mookage! I love the build of this black and purple pick-up, it really looks like a badass 'wheels' to match the 'cool image' of the surfer. But I think I like the lime truck the best, reminds me Ratchet from Transformers. Have you showed this one to EB before?
  8. Another great MOC of a real-world house georgivar! I still remember the yellow one that you did, this one is as accurate to the real thing. (It's like the exact lego build copy of the red house).
  9. Yeah some BP mini-vehicles are ok, and the 2011 ones look like definitely improved, but when I posted that I was thinking of the awful Clone Walker, Assassin droid speeder, and Hoth Rebel mini-vehicle. But these alternate builds are quite nice considering they're just derivatives of the mini-AAT and mini-RAS. Anyways, probably it's just my personal taste.
  10. Wow, I have always been a fan of those who creatively find ways to use ordinary lego pieces into unusual builds - and this is one of them. I'm totally amazed by the little but effective details of this MOC - the use of yellow hands for the hay roof, the brickbuilt birds (clever use of MF arm), the sitting man, the chimney smoke - all unique, interesting, and well-executed builds! Very impressive work pif500!
  11. Another great vig Peppermint_M! I think this is the best one so far. Great way to incorporate <cough cough> MB to a Lego MOC.
  12. Like this one? Looks good but Quarrens are more known to be on the 'villain side' than being heroic jedi. But eitherway, it's always great to get new SW alien characters. But I would rather have my Biths to be band musicians than jedi. EDIT: Sorry if this was becoming off-topic, I thought I was in the Future SW sets topic. Now on to the next Episode! Oky/def, will you be able to finish the full Season 2 review before Season 3 starts in a weeks time?
  13. Nice littel vig JD! I'm not that familiar with the game, but the assassin "free-running" on the wall is a great effect. Great job!
  14. OMG! That's one massive MOC! This reminds of the Galdiator's Coliseum in terms of sheer size. The architecture of the exterior and the arena inside are very well done. Very impressive masterpiece kaitain!
  15. As previously pointed out, the old astromechs have hollow inner tubes underneath, while the new ones have technic cross gaps inside.
  16. Amazing work as always AC! I love the attention to details once again, and the various compartments of the base - the briefing room, control room, and it even had a troop quarters! (good to see rebels having some rest afterall ). Regarding the ships, I understand the use of the classic models, because I believe the focus of this MOC is more on the awesomeness of the Yavin Base and not on the ships. Just imagine if the Falcon were accurate and MF-scaled, there wouldn't be enough room for it there.
  17. Great MOC 501st Commando! The techniques that you employed to create a circular design are very well-executed. It does look like a cross between the Cloud City and the clone medical space station in the CW series. The antenna-less round pieces are very unique details. The mini-Republic cruisers are also very cleverly built - they could even be separate mini-MOCs themselves. Great overall job!
  18. Understood, I guess it ain't that easy after all. I'll try that and maybe B-Doc's hand technique too. Thanks for the suggestions guys.
  19. Yeah I've read about it in a discussion, but I have yet to see the trailer. It would be nice to see this in lego form, a decent-sized set and the perfect way to get Ventress in a cheaper set.
  20. Nice improvements, keep it up!
  21. Then I guess a late welcome to you Capt. Becker! No worries, I was even worse than you, took me more than 1.5 years to post my intro. Well, just continue enjoying the forum and see you around (though we don't usually 'bump' into each other, SW & Pirates are universes apart )
  22. Now I understand why you don't clean your lego pieces. What did you used for cleaning? Some sort of cleaning chemical? Usually soap and water are enough for cleaning, as they don't oxidize plastic.
  23. The shape of the shuttle does look like it's built for the water, good use of slope and wedges for a streamlined finish. Good job on those points. I agree with them regarding the additional details, though I doubt how much more additional elements you could put on a 12- x 6-stud mini-shuttle.
  24. Great unique design for the alien-bot Flare, I agree with TheWarden's observation that it looks futuristic and prehistoric at the same time. It kinda reminds me of the 'old' Decepticon in Transformers 2 (the one who helped the Autobots in the end), especially since your robot even has a old-bot walking stick. Overall, good job!
  25. Of course building is fun, but what separates a good MOCer from the rest is how he/she presents his creation, and this includes the MOC being presentable and clean. Pls. do take this criticism constructively, believe me your MOCs will be a hundred times better if they were clean.
