Sorry, replying to a lot of comments. I already replied above. Thanks Doc. Always a pleasure hearing from you.

Thanks TGWTB! Yeah, it seems like I've becoming the unofficial parts customizer with my recent (if not most) of my MOCs/MODs. From the looks of it, I think you have a 100% chance of winning, since you're the only contestant so far!

Thanks. I will try to come up with new stuff to present to you guys. Unfortunately, the tiger stripe stickers aren't softcopy images but just hand-cut dark blue sticker papers. I will try to post the rancor noseart sometime later. I'm glad you like it. Thanks. I never knew what happened to Razor Squadron after the Clone Wars, probably they were assimilated to the Empire?

It's ok in the landing mode, but how about when the T-6 is in the flight mode (vertical wings)? One side has studs while the other has none? Just doesn't look right IMO. Even if I highly doubt that TLG will give us SNOT wings for the T-6, it'd still be a good surprise if they somehow 'even' both sides of the wings.

Thanks WhiteFang! Your description of the ARC-170 suits very well the pilots of the Razor Squadron, as they were know to fly more aggressively compared to other standard clone ARC pilot counterpart. As Wookieepedia describes them: "As an elite surgical strike and recon force using advanced hit-and-run tactics against large enemy targets and facilities, Razor Squadron's focus was more on delivering greater and more intense fire-power and less on strengthening defensive systems."

My printer, unfortunately, has failed me and thus, the pale red colored noseart. So I resorted to cut out stickers yet again to put up the noseart. I will try to fix that problem. Anyways, I'm glad you still liked it!

But that's how the Halo bounty hunter gunship is supposed to look like - an oversized box-type cockpit with a thin body and wings w/ huge thrusters. I think it'll remain that way. Regarding the T-6 shuttle, I get your point regarding the uneven build of the wings, I tried to look at the prelim pics but can't verify if the wings have two different sides. I do hope TLG fixes that issue, as it wouldn't look right if one side has studs and the other has none.

Thanks lightningtiger! All those dreaded decals are actually hand-cut-out painted sticker paper and not printed from the printer. I really had a hard time putting all those stickers. But anyway, anything to capture the right look.

Nice woodchipper design Brickwild, it does look realistic! Your second versions have definitely improved, and good to see them in various colors. Good job!

Very nice little MOC Cheburashka, it's easily recognizable as a spider droid. Pretty good combination of lime parts with the black body. I also like how the body swivels/rotates, very functional for such a small build. Good job!

Nice little vignette R5-N2! Really looks like a SW movie set, though it could use a lot more elements (like a lime green backdrop for special effects ). It's nice to see the actors taking a break after the movie shoot (Stormies, Chewie, LOL @ Artoo! ).

Razor Squadron was one of the Elite Galactic Republic squadrons that was active during the Clone Wars, and typically flew customized Aggressive ReConnaissance-170 starfighters on special ops missions from Coruscant to Nelvaan and Cato Neimoidia. The squadron is the composed of specially trained attack and recon vessel clone trooper pilots, equally skilled clone commandos, and on-board specialized astromech droids to handle in-flight operations. This project was inspired when I saw one of these in a local TRU store. Since the parts for my other MOC are taking forever to arrive, I decided to present this one instead. This is part of my MOD series following my J.A.G. and ARC Gunship. This is my modified version of the 8088 ARC-170 Starfighter, the specific modifications will be highlighted by the comparison photos that will follow. There are two revisions that I made, one in the regular ARC-170 dark red color scheme, and the other in the dark blue Razor Squadron custom color. Flight and attack modes: Overview: Rear views: Cockpit views: Other views: The Razor Squadron Crew: Left: 8088 ARC-170 crew: Co-pilot, Captain Jag, and R4-P44 Right: The Razor Squadron Crew: Two ARC pilots, ARC Clone Gunner, and R4-C7. The reference Razor Squadron Crew (Hasbro Battlepack): The Modifications: The official 8088 ARC-170 Starfighter (L) and my modified version ® The shape of the nose was modified for a smoother finish, as well as the front engine thrusters. Modified interiors in the front, middle, and rear cockpits. Slight modifications on the rear part, including the rear guns. Removed the flick-fires missiles and increased the height of the lower part of the fighter. Some Reference Photos: Parting Shot: Together with Big Brother ARC Gunship: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As a way of giving back to my fellow Eurobrickers (and just for the fun of it ), I'll be running a mini-trivia contest in my MOCs/MODs, starting with this one. Question: How many specific unique parts in this Razor Squadron ARC-170 Starfighter MOC are not available in standard lego colors? (Clue: They are limited in these colors: red, dark blue, white, and black) Just post your answers at the end of your comments. The first one to get the right answer, or the closest one, will win a special lego prize from me. (It's just a small token of appreciation, so don't expect big prizes yet, let's start small. ) This mini-contest shall run for 2 weeks until I pick the winner. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for viewing! C&C’s fire away!

Very nice! I love the black-and-white tone, very WWII-ish.

Haha, this topic is completely hilarious and entertaining, made me smile while looking at the Oky vs. JD MOCs. Keep 'em coming guys! Uhmm, I don't seem to read any promiscuous insinuations in the title, looks fine to me.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars: season 3 discussion
XimenaPaulina replied to Corvus's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Thanks for sharing sok117. I think the shot with the crashed Venator and gunships flying away are from the episode R2 Come Home in Season 2. Though the Anakin-Ventress duel in Kamino really looks exciting. -
Yeah there has been no new photos/new/materials regarding the 2011 first wave (and thus the recent observed wishful thinking of fans in this topic). I wonder when can we expect some clear photos of these sets? November/December just before 2011?

You're completely right about that. Actually sodium percarbonate itself already contains hydrogen peroxide (2Na2CO3-3H2O2), which does the oxidizing action by 'stealing' the oxygen molecules off the bromine complex so the yellow/tan/brown residue goes away. This is becoming too chemistry-nerdy. -
Ooh, that's really awesome man! Very cool-looking Lifeguard car, and even better with the hot chicks driving it. Great way to use that sloped windscreen (and I see it was cleverly painted to conceal the top part ) - it makes the car so much sleeker and goes well with the smooth SNOT finish. The back compartment is very functional too. Very impressive work M_longer!

Very nice creation The Red Brick! Yeah this kinda reminds me of the Paradisa Ice Cream Parlor but this one is the updated version. I love the use of jewels as lights hanging on the leaves - really adds a nice touch. The different colored 1x1 round plates do represent the various ice cream flavors well. Great job!
-
Simple and functional indeed! Nice train wagons andythenorth, I love the various colors which can be partnered on a different colored train (depending on what you have). Good idea and even better execution!

Welcome to Eurobricks Harold! It's great to know you're taking your lego hobby to the next level. Since you're a CITY/Pirates/Castle fan, you could always check out these themes' subforums, you should find lots of interesting topics there (fantastic MOCs, comprehensive set reviews, and some interesting articles). Hope you enjoy your EB experience. See you around.

Welcome back HouseofH, pls. do cling on to your remaining lego, and hope you survive your Dark Ages in a hurry!

Nice and simple mini-Acclamator. You got the basic shape and elements right, it's just that the open fleet emblem is kinda large for the ship. But I understand since there's no smaller disc that that 2 x 2.
-
Another great creation benny! I'm loving the simple but very cool-looking green-white color scheme. Very clever use of the pig figure with the two knives at each side for the signage - very slaughterhouse-like. The details in the interior are just amazing, and Ooh, nice use of the snake for the internal organs! Overall great job!

I can't directly verify the powerfunction compatibility of the new UCS Umperial Shuttle, but we all know that is always possible in lego. Regarding the second question, white lego pieces have been known to 'yellow' over time. Speaking as a chemist: Lego pieces contain a bromine-based flame retardant that degrades over time due to constant exposure to UV light. Upon degradation, the bromine frees up and binds with oxygen to form a brown complex, which is the "yellowing" observed in older pieces. I just don't know if TLG still use this bromine-based flame retardant in the new lego sets, if yes then they are bound to yellow over time.
