  1. Very cute! That's one huge human-sized Pokemon eh? Though I would have wished to see a Pikachu cosplayer. Anyway, nice job there Blockburn, good luck in the contest!
  2. No problem, I experienced the same problem when I first adjudicated involving mastery abilities. DS sent for Round 2!
  3. Two versions of Empire State of Mind, the original one by Jay-Z feat. Alicia Keys and the cover by the Glee cast. I just love this song.
  4. Ah, there goes the ultra-rare date without a birthday celebrant.. Nah, just kidding, Happy birthday then Mr. Lego Ninja!
  5. But as a sissy 'consolation', besides Mace, Fisto was the last one standing among the three, though yeah he was rather killed easily. (shameless defense of Fisto ends here. ) Agreed. As much as other fans (OT/PT) despise the CW series, I think the closest representation of the jedi powers and abilities are best captured there. In the movies, the jedi abilities are somehow humanized and a bit below jedi-level, and in the cartoon series it was too much exaggerated, so I think the jedi abilities are just right smack in the middle in CGI series. If you've seen how great of a swordsman Fisto (ehem, another shameless promotion) was in the Lair of Grievous episode, the way they represented Fisto (and the other jedi) in the movies are just lame.
  6. No, thank you. As much as I like Bane I wouldn't want him to become a live action character, that will just tarnish his bada$$ persona. (Just remember how Boba fared in the movies). Characters are simply portrayed better, even if unrealistic, in animation and in the novels. Now that I've thought about it, if ever the adult Boba Fett was featured in a same CW-style series, that would certainly cement his reputation as the best bounty hunter ever.
  7. Nice shots Solscud! I see you've found a use for your newly-acquired AT-AT. The shot of the incoming "giant robot camels" from the rebel's view is just perfecto!
  8. Not really a photo but a collage of photoshopped magazine covers showcasing my other passion besides Lego. KielDaMan - frustrated baller cum lego-lover
  9. Normally we could choose the skin we want in the dropdown box in the lower left corner of the page (just above the Sponsored Links), but for some reason I think it was disabled (?) as the only choice is "English (USA)" (just checked now).
  10. You guys are impressive, it's either you have Superman's infrared X-ray vision or you have image enhancing softwares. I can't even see a thing in those blurred boxes! Anyways, assuming the predictions are correct, a Lars homestead will be pretty interesting since it'll be a new set and not just a remake like the Sandcrawler or a Cloud City. Though an updated Cloud City seems to be a popular choice among fans' wishlists for the longest time so it's highly probable it'll be part of the 2011 line-up. And a UCS Lobot? Highly doubt it. Why would TLG make a UCS of very minor character?
  11. Seems like things have died down a bit here huh.. no one's duelling? I would've wanted to duel again, but after 10 matches and only 3 wins to show, I think Ima Gunna have to rest pretty Diana a bit.. I'll adjudicate for you guys if CF accepts the challenge.
  12. Thanks JD! I would love to see your (and everybody else's) entries soon! Haha, thanks prateek! Those two hair experts are the best of the best in the business. Thanks The Legonater! Thanks lightningtiger! Looking forward to your entry too.
  13. I actually like the controlled darkness of the whole build. You managed to get decent shots even in a such a dark environment and at the same time giving it the Halloween feel. I think the crispness of the photos could still be improved, though I don't know how since I'm not an expert in photography.
  14. Already your favorite even after only minutes of exposure? But I must say his last stand was a really martyric and honorable death.
  15. Wow, simply amazing! You have done it again BaronSat, impressive Batman MOC once again. I actually saw this in flickr before you posted it in here in EB. I just love the opening hidden door.
  16. Me too, I love it! Just perfect for the Halloween Season!
  17. Pretty good design for a dropship, nice dark red-black color scheme and I love the claw function. Good job -N13OS-!
  18. Wow, very impressive build Magina! That is a great tribute to the WTC Twin Towers, you really captured the overall look perfectly. The details in the space between the buildings are very nicely done too.
  19. Sweet-looking Grand Piano SilentMode! Looks very accurate, now I wonder how you'll fit that to the Cosplay entry since it's already 7 x 8.
  20. Nice little MOC, I hope the pig is not too late to sneak out as the ninja is already looking for him with the sword in his hand.
  21. This is such a great Haloween MOC! You really captured the spooky atmosphere but at the same time with a funny twist as well. I love all the details you've put in there (lighting effect, witch scene, even the leave-less tree is scary-looking). And I see the spidey kid is nearing puberty with his facial hair eh? Anyways, impressive overall job lego-maniac!
  22. Impressive collection of 5-wide classic cars gambort! Very nice use of the chrome lightsaber hilts for the bumpers. I like the blue Holden the best.
  23. That's a very nice Hong-Kong scene MOC Jack! The study hall is a bit plain, but the Ancestral hall and Pagoda are very well-done! And I really love the brick-built Dragon-Dance. I remember seeing this a lot in our China Town here.
  24. Very nice little vignette, truly Japanese-looking indeed! The ninja, old samurai guy, and the cherry blossoms are just perfect!
  25. Wow, excellent miniscale MOC Skalldyr! The mini-buildings/structures are very nicely done, looks really accurate for a mini-build. The tiny soldiers are cleverly done too, as well as the overall landscapind/scenery.
