Hello Lego Freak, and welcome to Eurobricks! Glad to know another SW fan joining us. See you then at the SW forum. And nice avatar BTW, I see you're already participating in one of the site's activities on your first day.

I think they would have, and they should, since the previous ones used the old megaphone that badly needs an updated version, probably the Series 1 Spaceman laser blaster with a trans-lime green round plate might do.

Signature changing expert - definitely from Siegfried (my trusty siegnature fixer ), given to me for constantly bugging him everytime I mess up in adding links to photos in my signature.

Happy Birthday to all the celebrants! Have a wonderful lego-filled day!

Since Halloween is not that popular in our place, and I'm a bit old for that kind of stuff, the closest thing I'll be on a costume is this one: WARNING: Prolonged exposure to the following image may hurt your eyes.

Great MOC lisqr! That's one massive cylindrical 'thingy' alright. Though I don't see it as a cannon, but rather as a huge power generator like what Milargo pointed out. The overall SNOT finish is just fantastic!

Review: 7596 Toy Story 3 Trash Compactor Escape
XimenaPaulina replied to mostlytechnic's topic in LEGO Licensed
Great review mostlytechnic! Excellent photos and overall presentation. This is set is good but certainly not the best of the bunch, considering the large <insert that tiresome argument> pieces and the relatively common figs (who would want dirty figs anyway?) -
Sorry if I'll sound a bit rude, but I don't actually understand people wanting to change names regularly. Why not be contented with your name? Besides, you're the one who thought of and made your name in the first place right, so why change it? Thinking of a username should be done responsibly, even if it's just in an online forum. And correct me if I'm wrong, I think there wouldn't be many Knights and above who would change their names, as I assume these people, who have earned their statures here in EB, were mature enough to pick usernames that they knew they'll be satisfied with the rest of their stay here. But still, this is a good feature to have especially to extreme cases where one badly needs to change their names.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars: season 3 discussion
XimenaPaulina replied to Corvus's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Yeah, that has been bugging me too. I'm like, "Is this the Season of Prequels?!?" Every freakin' episode in this Season have all been prequels to episodes from Season 1/2! 1) Clone Cadets - Rookies (S1) 2) Supply Lines - Ryloth Trilogy (S1) 3) Sphere of Influence - Ambush (S1) 4) Corruption - Mandalore story arc (S2) 5) The Academy - Mandalore story arc (S2) And now the next one will be a prequel to Hostage Crisis?! Have they ran out of new stuff to create and hence the 'recycled' stories? Ok, end of rant. I'm still gonna watch, not that I'm enjoying the season so far, but hopefully looking forward for worthy episodes in the upcoming ones. -
Excellent MOC LuxorV! Your 'imaginary' concept of Cleopatra's palace certainly translates well in brickbuild and is truly a masterpiece fit for a queen. I just love the small details you've put in there - the use of the PoP arches for the front fountain, the trophy legs of the golden throne, and the brickbuilt Egyptian idol statues - all very cleverly done.

Harry Potter: Wizard's Duel - Duelling Club

Hufflepuff Practitioner Frankfurt Flashburn versus Slytherin Adept Carlos Peerce Round 3 Frankfurt Flashburn | 1 ________________________Carlos Peerce | 4 Protego! - 0 ___________________________________Mid - 0 Stupefy! - 0 ___________________________________Protego! - 0 Low - 0_______________________________________Crucio! - 1 Low - 0_______________________________________Expelliarmus! - 0 Low - 0_______________________________________Low - 0 Health: 0____________________________________Health: 4 Hufflepuff Practitioner Frankfurt Flashburn is hanging by a thread for his dear life as Carlos aggressively starts the decisive round with a body shot that gets blocked by Frankfurt's Protego. Frankfurt desperately attempts one last attack with a Stupefy that Carlos easily blocks with his own Protego. Wanting to end this duel now, Carlos unleashes a crucifying Crucio that knocks Frankfurt unconscious to the ground. The seemingly invincible Slytherin Adept once again walks away from battle victorious... Winner: Carlos Peerce! Wow, you're just unbeatable CallMePie, congratulations for the nth time! Extremely tough luck on the second round Cornelius, that proved to be the turning point of the match. Better luck next time bud. You may now update your character profiles accordingly. -
This is just freakin' hilarious prateek! Now I have to save this one and make this my sadness-therapy treatment.

Nicely done TheBrickster! Just perfect timing for the 'season'. The whole presentation really exudes a Halloween atmosphere. As always, flawless editing with the effective spooky background and those glowing crow and bat eyes. Excellent!

Review: 8371 Extreme Power Bike
XimenaPaulina replied to mostlytechnic's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Neat review mostlytechnic, thanks for sharing this. Like O.J., I'm not really into technic sets but this one is one of the nicest looking small technic sets I've seen. Just look at it, it really looks good, not to mention its pull-back functionality. -
Yeah, obviously we pale in comparison versus non-lego-based forums, but against other lego-based forums, I would assume EB is the most active one around, right?

Nice little design -N13OS-, the 'Scavenger' surely looks like fit for the job.

Aglaeca Mini Attack Submarine

Great work once again Leo-J! I'm lovin' the 'forced-connected' clips for the front tank-like track. Keep it up kabayan! -

Aglaeca Dark Matter Transport Submarine
XimenaPaulina replied to Leo-J's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Another impressive mini-ship Leo-J! I'm really a fan of your unique and detailed minis. And thanks for sharing the metallic black photography effect. I might have to give it a try sometime. -
Very nice brickbuild version of the toy buggy in the ref. pic, good improvisation using the TS Army Men Patrol Car.

Hufflepuff Practitioner Frankfurt Flashburn versus Slytherin Adept Carlos Peerce Round 2 Frankfurt Flashburn | 4 ________________________Carlos Peerce | 4 Mid - 0 _______________________________________Low - 1 Stupefy! - 0 ___________________________________Expelliarmus! - 0 Low - 0_______________________________________Protego! - 0 Mid - 0________________________________________Crucio! - 1 High - 0_______________________________________Mid - 1 Health: 1____________________________________Health: 4 After a close opening round, Carlos Peerce quickly starts the second with a low spell that hits Frankfurt on the legs before he could even launch his own attack. Even after getting hurt, the Hufflepuff attempts to stun Carlos with a Stupefy, but the Slytherin counters with an Expelliarmus. Frankfurt once again tries to hit the Adept on the feet which Carlos immediately defends with a Protego. Sensing desperation in his opponent, Carlos unleashes a powerful Crucio that slams the practitioner against the wall. Another spell towards Frankfurt's body gravely damages the Hufflepuff, as Carlos can almost taste victory heading into the last round.. The Slytherin Adept has exerted his might in the second round and turned the close contest into a one-sided duel after a barrage of timely attacks on the Hufflepuff Practitioner. Carlos looks to keep his record unblemished, will Frankfurt delay the inevitable and make a miraculous comeback? Send in your Round 3 DS when ready. -
Yeah I already saw this map a couple of weeks ago. I never even bothered to check-out if any lego-related websites are in the map (thanks for pointing out Brickshelf). Which now leads me to curiously think, how does Eurobricks compare to non-lego and other lego-related websites/forums in terms of overall acitivity?
