  1. Great find Big Cam, thanks for sharing! Very nice to see how CDs are made, and the background music really adds up to the overall video presentation.
  2. I agree the opening sequence was kinda cool, most especially since we get to see the ARC-170s finally debuting in the series. I just noticed right now that the paint job is different from the 'standard' ones, maybe because they are initial releases/prototypes? And I actually like the concept of the episode (and the next one) paying homage to Godzilla.
  3. What are you referring to? The 'lightsaber duel' between Obi and Bane? Yes, I saw that one before. But a scene with Ahsoka getting killed? I don't think so, because it won't happen this Season 3, maybe in the very last episodes of the entire series, but not this early. I maybe wrong, but simple logic leads me to believe it ain't happening yet. And Nah, I do not completely disagree with all your views, just doubting some of them.
  4. Great micro-scale representation of the real building, looks really very accurate! Nice use of the Mars-dome thingy. Very good work Sir!
  5. Wow, that's truly a remarkable shot! Looks like it's 'shopped but it isn't, so great job on pulling-off the desired ghost effect! Oh, and of course, lots of great details too on the vig, like the effective use of the furnace light brick and the MF arms for the table. Another for you 74louloute!
  6. Welcome to Eurobricks Orange Juice! Enjoy the forums here.
  7. My money is on the tactical droid, though a commando droid would be great too. And droids are supposed to be tall, taller than your average human such as Mace. And considering how SW figs are very detailed nowadays, I'm pretty sure this new droid will not disappoint in terms of relative size and design accuracy.
  8. Hufflepuff Practitioner Frankfurt Flashburn versus Slytherin Adept Carlos Peerce Round 1 Frankfurt Flashburn | 5 ________________________Carlos Peerce | 5 Mid - 0 _______________________________________Crucio! - 1 Stupefy! - 0 ___________________________________Expelliarmus! - 0 High - 0_______________________________________Protego! - 0 Low - 0_______________________________________Low - 0 Low - 1_______________________________________Mid - 0 Health: 4____________________________________Health: 4 It's the first time we'll see Slytherin Carlos Peerce in action as an Adept as he battles Hufflepuff Practitioner Frankfurt Flashburn, who's looking to hand the undefeated duelist his first loss and join him in the ranks of being an Adept. Frankfurt begins with the duel by casting a spell towards his opponent's body but Carlos' counters with an even more powerful Crucio that cancels the Hufflepuff's attack and damages him. Frankfurt tries to retaliate with a Stupefy, only to be blocked by an Expelliarmus from Carlos. The practitioner continues to be on the offensive, aiming at Carlos' head but the Slytherin once again adeptly defends with a Protego. Carlos then tries to sweep his rival off his feet, however Frankfurt does the same as both spells cancel out each other. The Slytherin attempts to strike the Hufflepuff in the body but Frankfurt dodges and casts a low sweeping spell that knocks Carlos to the ground. This has the makings of a very close and intense duel, as both duelists are tied after the first round. Who will gain the upperhand in the next stage? Send in your Round 2 DS when ready.
  9. I'm loving the pic! Nice one Legonater, Round 3 DS sent!
  10. Hmmm, interesting, looks good... for kids! This is too <insert that tiresome argument> and way too megablokish for my taste, I'd rather take the challenging task of making a brickbuilt version than using that huge piece.
  11. That's a pretty good start Hemish, it really looks like a nice stable build that you could always improve on. Can't wait to see how the build progresses.
  12. Oh-oh, too much advanced technology, that is gonna be the start of the end of human lego-builders.. Somehow, for some strange reason, I've always believed that robots will take over the earth in the future, and that includes us AFOLs..
  13. Thanks WhiteFang, glad you liked it. Yeah, come to think of it, I could have also used this in the Everyday Life contest, but hey maybe in some other MOCs soon. Thanks Wout! I never expected to hear "kind" words from you "Devil". Nah, just kidding, thanks for the comments! Thanks Mrlegoninja!
  14. I think so too. Old mold + new prints is the way to go. As you pointed out, they did it with the ewoks and (will do with) the Gungans, so that's what they would probably do also with the geonosians. No need for new molds since they are just minor characters. A Poggle fig does sound sweet, and it's within the realm of impossibility considering there are two rumored Geonosis sets.
  15. Very nice airplane design Einon! Yeah the cockpit might be a bit large relative to the whole body but it looks good for an unconventional plane. The SNOT wings are well-built, and excellent 'shopped photos.
  16. Having a very well-thought-of plan and a nice layout is already a great start for your ambitious project Stoutfiles. It's a good thing you already know what you want to do and everything seems planned perfectly, so go ahead and start building. I am in no way an expert in Cloud City building but if there is a cross-section of the of the portion that you would like to build, that would really help a lot. I don't have the SW Great Cross Sections book so maybe someone could confirm if there is one for the Cloud City. All of us would be looking forward for the completion of this project. Good luck!
  17. CM's Round 1 DS received. Awaiting yours CMP.
  18. Any update on our duel, The Legonater?
  19. Great scale-up models for the three regular lego items. Best of luck in the contest Klementina!
  20. Wow, another impressive line of custom figs, this time the complete Weasly family. I love the detailed torso prints, especially the Mum's apron print extending to the legs. Great job as usual tin7! Keep up with these amazing customs of yours!
  21. Hufflepuff Practitioner Okay Turkoglu versus Gryffindor Practitioner Ollivander Dippet Round 1 Okay Turkoglu | 5 _________________________Ollivander Dippet | 5 Protego! - 0 __________________________________Low - 0 High - 0 _____________________________________Protego! - 0 Low - 1______________________________________Mid - 0 Stupefy! - 0___________________________________Expelliarmus! - 0 Mid - 0_______________________________________Mid - 0 Health: 5_________________________________Health: 4 Gryffindor Practitioner Ollivander Dippet looks to bounce back from his previous defeat as he battles another Hufflepuff Practitioner in Okay Turkoglu. Wanting to redeem himself, Ollivander immediately targets his rival on the legs, but Okay was quick to counter with a Protego. The Hufflepuff then goes on the offensive and delivers a head shot that bounces off Ollivander's Protego. The Gryffindor tries to target his opponent's body but Okay dodges and casts a spell that knocks Ollivander off his feet. Sensing an opening, Okay attempts to Stupefy Ollivander, however the diminutive Gryffindor deflects the attack just in time with an Expelliarmus. After getting back on his feet, Ollivander once again casts a spell towards the Hufflepuff's torso but Okay does the same as both attacks cancel each other out and sparks fly around the room. Okay manages to come out of Round 1 unscathed but Ollivander is not far behind. Who shall take a significant advantage in the next round? Send in your Round 2 DS when ready
  22. I'll adjudicate if CM accepts your challenge.
  23. DS received from Oky. Awaiting yours C-Fox. ---- And I already sent my Round 1 DS to CM, you're up Professor!
  24. Very nicely done Cornelius! This is one entry that truly lives up to the "cosplayer blending in real-life situation". The fig somehow looks rather conservative for a cosplayer (though he sports Aquaman's colors pretty well), but the way you presented him in that well-built vignette more than makes up for it. I wish you well in the competition buddy!
  25. I'm still choosing between these two: The simpler and more conservative: Or this nightmare-inducing one: Nah, I chose the 'scarier' one.
