Hero Factory Contest Voting - Villains
XimenaPaulina replied to Brickthing's topic in LEGO Action Figures
3 points to Magma by Darkblane. -
Ah ok, I stand corrected. Then we'd have to get the Geonosians from the Geonosis Starfighter set in the second wave then.

Harry Potter: Wizard's Duel - Duelling Club
XimenaPaulina replied to ADHO15's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Would you like to duel a fellow student first? Or is it okay for you to battle a practitioner? If so, I'd be willing to take on you. -
Aww, poor Ewok! Bad Sith, Bad! I never knew Darth Aiklimacz was that evil to harm an innocent cuddly ewok. Anyway, nice duel CM, 'til next time. Thanks for adjudicating also The Legonater.

Halloween Mini-Month Avatar Contest! VOTE NOW!
XimenaPaulina replied to Shadows's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Don't worry, I'll revert back to my old avatar when the contest is over. I personally don't like animated avatars also, I just made mine to spookify my avatar to participate in this activity. I'm so sorry if you feel that way. I might have contributed to these annoying animated Halloween avatars when I followed Rick's example, and it seems everyone, especially the young ones, followed suit. I personally think it's just ok, I actually enjoy seeing how creative people are with technology nowadays. Worry not Madame, one more week and it'll all be over and everything will be back to normal. -
I think it's is still not confirmed. The supposed Battle of Geonosis set will be on the second wave, and the Luminara set is part of the first wave. I think I may have mislabeled it when I summarized the first wave sets with a post I made, my bad.
-
Yeah it's a bummer they removed Vos, but I still think he will appear in the CW series (Proof? Hasbro made a CW version action fig of him), and hence will find his way soon in a lego set. Besides, why would TLG make a minifig 'teaser' if they're not going to release him right? So probably we'll get him on the second wave.

Here's the deeplinked set summary for SW 2011 first wave (for the benefit of everyone): My final thoughts (before I hit the sleeper): 7913 - Clone Trooper Battle Pack = probably get four 7914 - Mandalorian Battle Pack = get only 1 7915 - Imperial V-Wing = must-buy 7929 - Battle of Naboo - still undecided 7868 - Mace Windu's Starfighter = pass; get astromech and tactical droid off BL/ebay 7869 - Battle of Geonosis (?) = definitely must-buy 7930 - Bounty Hunter Gunship = pass 7831 - T-6 Jedi Shuttle = pass; get Shaak and Seasee off BL/ebay

I agree with prateek, Jar-Jar's arms seems to be the same color as the face print, and hence not standard tan. If so, that would be a good variation then.
-
Small nitpick: Just look at the shadow of the BD ate the right corner - bad photoshopping. Anyways, Saesee's new face looks good IMO, not too CW-ish and just about right. His detailed headpiece is great!
-
Yeah, that reply was just 'saving my face' since I lately realized the other correct Jedi-CC combos. But the pics do look final and it'll definitely be Rex (woot!), so Gree and the other CCs would have to wait another time.
-
But wouldn't you want Shaak-Saesee-Vos compared to Shaak-Saesee-Anakin?
-
CTT: Aayla- (No) Bly RAS: Mace -(No) Ponds AAT: Yoda - (No) Thire But your points are corret too.
-
If there will be no Vos in the T-6, I would definitely pass it up and just save the dollars and get Shaak and Saesee off BL/ebay.
-
You do realize that TLG doesn't like doing the correct Jedi General-Clone Commander combo right? So I can live with Rex, though Gree would be great too.
-
Just take a second look, zoom in the box art, it's clearly Anakin, Vos is nowhere to be found!
-
Thanks for sharing CMP. After seeing some of the photos, I'm lovin' Aurra (with the ponytail hairpiece) and Shaak Ti. Seasee seems a bit improved but still CW face), but BAD news, they seem to have scrapped Quinlan Vos! It's Anakin in both the artwork and boxart.
-
Yes the legs are printed, more accurate to the real outfit of Luminara (unlike the plain old one). The only good thing about the old one is the face anyway, but the rest this new one trumps the previous version in terms of detail. Yes, that and because it's your hated CW.
-
Actually, Luminara was really wearing some anti-dust goggles during that CW episode. Yucky? For conservative OT fans probably. But I can live with it, I'm actually planning purchasing the LuL one, but since this popped up, I might just have to wait for this one. And finally I'll have my Rex soon too, So this will be a double-win for me.
-
Oh, and I see a dual-faced Luminara, one with the normal head and one with the goggles (based on the Geonosis story arc).
-
Wow! I hope this is true! Definitely a must-buy for me, since I don't have Luminara and Rex yet. (nevermind the other stuff). Thanks for sharing Anio!

Wow, I just got to say there are lots and lots of great avatars coming in recently. I never thought joining this Halloween avatar-fest could be so much fun! I'm really enjoying seeing the transformation of the normal avatars into the spookified versions - really some great creative stuff there. Cheers to everyone! -
Star Wars: The Clone Wars: season 3 discussion
XimenaPaulina replied to Corvus's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I actually liked the Assassin episode very much, yeah some of the scenes look a bit rushed but that's what we would expect from a 20-minute show. I really like Ahsoka's dream/premonition visual and audio effects, as well as how the episode built up the tension on the assassination attempt on Padme. As the season goes by I'm becoming more and more of an Ahsoka fan, you could just see her characterization progressing from a young punk jedi to a more mature, skillful, and competent jedi. (looks like my theory of building up Ahoka's character in the series is holding up to be true.) Take that Antisokas!
