  1. Very impressive LDD MOC Alopex! Perfect use of the metallic gold color for the various parts of this steam engine. Tthe whole design really looks classy and very elegant. Now only if those pieces are available in the right metallic gold color I would sincerely love to see this in real brickbuild. Great work!
  2. I share the same sentiments The Legonater. I believe, in my honest personal opinion, that if there is a ship that will best represent the PT/CW as a UCS set, it's the RGS. I also got excited the first time I saw it in AoTC, and for me, it's my second most favorite ship in the SW, behind only the classic X-Wing. Regarding this whole OT vs. PT vs. CW debate that has become out-of-topic, this will be my last statement regarding this. Can we just all peacefully coexist? We are, afterall, all Star Wars fans. So please, enough of the cheap shots at CW (and their fanbase), I respect many of the mature OT and PT fans here, it's just sometimes some of them get too arrogant and elitist and completely dismisses anything that is CW. let's just respect each other's interests ok?
  3. Very nice rainbow-colored collection of ships you got there apemax! I actually like the diversity of the size and the individual design of each ship, giving them each a distinct 'character'.
  4. Interesting LDD design plokoon 4 life! Though I think the all-grey color scheme is a bit too bland IMO, probably some highlights of another color will help improve the look of it.
  5. Yeah I saw that review, and this new deep blue-colored lightsaber blade looks really good. Great job on the nice crisp photo LuxorV!
  6. Yup, that's the Clone Commander's torso backwards, he might've used it to customize the ARF. The ARF helmet really looks sweet! Just lovely accurate prints! (Just ordered my Clone and Mando BPs online, can't wait to see these soon.)
  7. Wonderful review Etzel! Thanks for sharing this. As for the set, as expected it is very impressive in terms of its size and the introduction of new elements. I see the ribbed columns will have vast use in various historical MOCs. And one interesting ne element that has reall caught my attention is the Crab-Monster's 'Crab hands' - when I saw it, the first thing I though is finally my Mr. Krabs will have the proper crab hands!
  8. Looks nice, but if not for the Tatooine moisture evaporator and the lightsaber, it doesn't look too Star Warsy enough. Regarding posting, I believe it is more preferable here in EB to deeplink the photos rather than attaching them in your post. This topic might help you --> How to Deeplink and Post Images.
  9. This is quite a nice Town Chapel MOC Legoman, not really bad for a SW MOCer. I think you got the basic shape typical of most chapels right, and the glass-mosaic window and cross details are very well done IMO. But like what the others have said, the walls are a bit plain and too smooth, maybe some texture or different shades of grey will improve diversifying the wall aesthetics. But overall, I'd say this is pretty good job considering this is your first attempt at a 'Historical' structure.
  10. The Commander Foxy is just hilarious! (sorry CF!) Nice perspective shot too on the Vader one, the black silhouette of Vader is very well captured.
  11. Congratulations to our new moderators! Good luck on your new roles. Cheers!
  12. Thanks Cad Bane! But I can't understand your comment on the astromech droid height. You mean I should make it lower? I think that's already the perfect height considering I have to expose the whole dome head even if it blocks the view of the pilot. UP NEXT: Christmas is the Season of Giving.. It's technically not a MOC, but you'll see it what it is when it's up. It's actually already finished, and just waiting to be posted at the right time. Sorry, I never realized I could set-up a poll with multiple vote choices. I already edited it now so you could choose more than one JSF. Instructions? Keep a watchful eye on the SW forum in the upcoming days..
  13. Uhm, care to elaborate more on the modifications that you did in the second version? I can't seem to figure out the difference of this and the first version, except for the change in dark red tile in front.
  14. Happy birthday everyone! Have a wonderful celebration!
  15. Yeah, just a dumb choice on my part. Well, it's up to you CF, you were the only one who chose Expecto Patronum, you might as well continue with your unique choice of abilities with the Sectumsempra.
  16. Congrats CF on Ollivander's ascendancy to Magus! My suggestion? Take Sectumsempra (or any mastery ability other than Natural Talent - it will only cancel out when you take on other Naturally-Taleneted Maguses).
  17. I'm sorry if this is a bit off-topic but it's just that I'm fed up of OT fans who keep on discriminating PT/CW. I know they have the right to say what they want to say, but taking cheap shots at CW whenever they can is really irritating me. One member humbly suggested a CW UCS set, then an OT fan is quick to declare it as a dumb move on TLG's part, what the heck is with that? Why do I have this feeling that strictly-OT fans are a bit of elitist? I am a fan of all OT/PT/CW, everything about the SW, even the EU stuff that I'm not very familiar with I try to understand and accept because it's part of my passion - Star Wars. I just can't understand how some people choose to live in the past, get stuck in the classic years of OT, and refuse the inevitable change in the franchise. End of rant. (Sorry once again for being off-topic, just got to release that)
  18. Thanks for finally sharing this pictorial review Churchill. Though right off the bat, I must say the photos are waaay beyond EB's limit for image sizes. I hope you could fix that so you could give mercy to those who have relatively slow computers. Regarding the set, I agree it's not as bad as we initially thought it would be. It's just alright, nothing spectacular but pretty decent. I think it's worth getting for the two new lovely jedi figs. The worst case scenario is that you'll have a $60 worth of new available parts + a quartet of useful jedi figs. Not bad at all.
  19. I agree, if ever there was a vehicle in the CW/PT that could be a UCS, the Republic Attack Gunship would be the best candidate. It's one of the most popular ships among fans, though considering the normal system-scale RGS is already huge, what more the UCS version? Now this I have to disagree. Making a UCS RGS is a dumb move on TLG's part? How bold of a statement that is. True SW fans/collectors do not discriminate OT/PT/CW. UCS sets should not be judged in what era they appeared in, but on how well-designed the set is.
  20. That is already a great photo for a review, looking forward for your review then Churchill. I also noticed, is the round dark red Republic logo a new piece?
  21. You could say that again. DS sent!
  22. Bonjour milady! Welcome to Eurobricks! Hope you'll have fun here. See you around!
  23. Welcome to Eurobricks Stephen! Well, the best way to get you acquainted here is to visit the various subforums here, browse the content, and observe. I think this will also help you and other newcomers: Member Guidelines, Index of Tutorials. I hope you enjoy it in here and see you around!
  24. Another excellent custom Omi! Those are bricktw armor and arm plates right? Nice work on the custom-printed cape and clone trooper torso too.
  25. Nice one SavaTheAggie! The photo really depicts quite a festive Luau scene with all those Hawaiian girsl and that flame-whirling guy. Good job as always!
