This is a great entry turambar! The whole interior is very well done, with lots of details that fit perfectly well with a woodwork craftsman shop - the brick wall, the wooden furniture and elements, and even that cleverly-built smoking pipe! Excellent work overall, good luck in the contest!

Review: 7307 Flying Mummy Attack
XimenaPaulina replied to Masked Builder's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Nice review Masked! It's always good to see another reviewer's take on a certain set, and you certainly provided us with some new shots to critique and judge this set. The plane is pretty good, but I do agree the minifigs are the main draws for this set. The flying mummies' headgear and wings are great, as is the pilot's jacket dual prints. -
Quite a subtle reminder to TLG why we need a new Padme. Anyway, another quality shot Cloney, (even if Qui-Gon's hair is slightly skewed).

Great to see the hi-res pics of this one, thanks for sharing this grogall! I'm really sold on this set from Day One. The hi-res pic just confirms how great and very detailed are the prints for Luminara. But is her headdress a new mold or the same as the old one? (sorry I don't own the old Luminara fig).

KielDaMan’s Star Wars Creations in LDD
XimenaPaulina replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thanks for the kind comments and well wishes guys! I'm glad to know these will be useful for you. Thanks ADHO, your RGS and ARC-170 LXFs surely saved me a lot of time and effort. You're welcome Burman. I was really a skeptic about LDD first, but when I got to learn about the LU mode, that's when I really got into LDD building full-blast. It surely helped me understand more the building techniques of sets that I don't own. I hope other people will learn something from these files too (though I must admit I don't have much advanced techniques, and I don't know if the use of illegal connections is that highly recommended for new builders ). I'm not so sure if I just forgot it, or I simply don't know where to find it and put on a cape on a minifig in LDD. -

Congrats Ron! Thanks again CM for the ADJ! It's safe to say that we are both desperate. Ms. Fabray would gladly take on you with hopes of finally ending her terrible losing streak against Natutally Taleneted duelists (BTW, Diana ain't no Mrs., she's very much single and ready to mingle. ). Anyone care to referee for us? -
KielDaMan’s Star Wars Creations in LDD
XimenaPaulina replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thanks Doc! I admit it it was kinda hard, actually impossible, to pull-off the illegal connections in LDD, that's why I had to modify some of the builds so I can present them in LDD. Yup, LU mode is your best friend in LDD. As of now, I still don't know what I'll do next, just want to take a break and enjoy the holidays. Regarding the Arch Duke thingy, no I'm not really aiming for anything, just trying to be active here in EB that's all. -
Wow, I'm totally amazed by this wonderful creation... Simply stunningly beautiful! This build looks like something taken directly out of the movie, the details are just outstanding, from the distinct Arabic structural architecture, purist minifig customization, and the multitude of everyday life scenes that are all enjoyable to look at. This is one of the best entries I've seen so far, a masterpiece that truly reflects how much of a MOC Expert you are Piglet. Best of luck in the contest!

This is nice mini-version of Cad Bane's speeder, it's already good as it is, and if your initial intention was just to build something out of your loose parts, then you did pretty well. But if you intend to improve this, you will definitely be needing more parts to make it look sleeker and to put some additional details.

Hufflepuff Magus Frankfurt Flashburn versus Gryffindor Magus Ollivander Dippet Round 2 Farnkfurt Flashburn l 4 _____________________Ollivander Dippet l 4 High - 0 ____________________________________Expecto Patronum! - 0 Mid - 1 _____________________________________Mid - 0 Stupefy! - 1__________________________________High - 0 Low - 1_____________________________________Sectumsempra-Low - 0 Expelliarmus! - 1 ______________________________Expelliarmus! - 0 Health: 4___________________________________Health: 0 The duel between the Hufflepuff and Gryffindor Maguses continues in the second round with Frankfurt attempting to hit his opponent in the head with a high-arching spell that was bounced back by Ollivander's Labrador Patronum. The diminutive Gryffindor then aims at Frankfurt's body, but the Hufflepuff counters with the same spell, his being more powerful and hits Ollivander in the body. With his rival downed, Frankfurt seizes the opening and unleashes a Stupefy that stuns the Gryffindor. The Hufflepuff aggressively follows-up with a low spell, that even Ollivander's own Sectumsempra cannot overcome. With desperation written all over his face, Ollivander makes a futile attempt to disarm his fellow Magus, but Frankfurt's own Expelliarmus proves to be too much for the Gryffindor to handle, as his own attack got deflected and hits him, sending Ollivander unconscious to the ground. Winner: Frankfurt Flashburn! Wow, that was an impressive perfect round CM, congratulations on the win! Quadruple ouch CF, that was painfully quick! Sorry about your that, maybe you'll have better luck against someone without Natural Talent (..Ms. Fabray). You may now update your character profiles. -
This is the season of giving, and with Christmas just around the corner, I decided to share my Star Wars Creations in LDD as a way of giving back to the community that I’ve come to love the past couple of years. I have received some inquiries before asking for instructions of my creations, and after getting into LDD lately, I was finally able to construct all my MOCs in LDD. Now one can view these MOCs up-close, zoom them, rotate them, analyze the parts and build, etc. The LXF files will essentially serve as the instructions for those who might be interested to build their own. So here they are, my Star Wars Creations in LDD: NOTE: Due to limitations in LDD, there are some discrepancies (illegal connection, collision errors, unavailable parts) between the real MOCs and their LDD design. BARC-X Speeder Bike Download LXF file here Lightning Squadron Download LXF file here J.A.G. – Jedi Attack Gunship Download LXF file here ARC Gunship Download LXF file here Razor Squadron ARC-170 Starfighter Download LXF file here Jedi Shuttle Bus Download LXF file here Delta 7-B Starfighter Collection Download LXF file here Special thanks to ADHO15 for the LXF files of the 7675 RGS and 8088 ARC-170 I used as ‘base LXF files’. Behind the Scene: Well, that’s it, I hope you’ve enjoyed my creations of the past year, ‘til next year for my next batch of MOCs! Happy Holidays everyone!!!

Welcome to Eurobricks fellow Spongebob fan! It was really nice reading your intro. Hope you'll have fun here!

Very nice and unique entry cralegoboy! I'm liking it so far, the snowy surroundings really look accurate for a winter graveyard. Aside from what Iz and JB have mentioned, don't forget to add the lamp-post and some snow-laden trees in the background. Those would be nice additional details that will greatly improve your entry. Good job so far and looking forward on your finished product.
-
Not a bad entry at all, the basic elements of a train station are there, however it kinda evokes somewhat a sad and lonely atmosphere, maybe because of the lack of the usual lively and bright Christmas colors. Is that what you intended to convey with this entry? Also, why does one side has snow while the other doesn't?
-
Now that's better, proper acknowledgment of the source of the creation. I must say you really are very good in reverse-engineering other creators' builds and turning them into LDD MOCs. That's quite a difficult task (I can understand that since I've done the same before), considering you only have reference photos as guide, so great job on that!
-
Nah, that's just part of the joking tirades, no harm intended. (I am a classic Town lover afterall, so I love those yellow skinned figs. Well, except the time they were used for the Star Wars figs)

Dietrich von Altenburg
XimenaPaulina replied to kris kelvin's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Kris, this is just a wonderfully-made custom Castle Figure! I agree the way you presented this just makes your entry a hundred times better. Great job on the custom Knight, and even greater job on the display tower. Best of luck in the contest! -
Great job on those custom hairpieces TazManiac! Very clean sculpey-molding, they really look professionally-done. I really hope TLG will make these types of hairpieces, I'm pretty sure our Pirates fans will be happy to have them.

That is a very nice LDD MOC Vincent! The design really captures the overall look of the real building based on the reference pic. I really like some unconventional techniques you've pulled-off there, particularly the half-stud-width building using the 1x2 jumper plates. It really gives you 'flexibility' in positioning some of the elements, like the curved top part of the window, which cannot be normally achieved using standard building techniques. Downside is, that very same technique might've caused your gap problem that you noted. But I'd still say it's just ok since it's not that noticeable. Great job overall and hope to see this realized in real brickbuild in the future.

General Magma's Star Wars Figures
XimenaPaulina replied to General Magma's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Those are some nice custom generic Jedi Gen. Magma. Good combination of purist (parts mix-&-matching) and modern (decals) customization. Looking forward for your Geonosis diorama soon! -
The overall shape is ok, the use of basic bricks for the body would have passed for a classic space ship build, but the multi-color scheme just doesn't do it for me. But quite a nice effort and I'm sure you'll have lots of room for improvement on this one when you have additional parts and pieces.
-
It would be really nice to finally have a Ki-Adi fig, it really makes sense for him to be included in the Geonosis SF because of his appearance as a major character in the Geonosis story arc in the CW series. Besides, lesser jedi have been made before (Nahdar, Barriss), and with the introduction of more prominent jedi members this 2011 (Shaak, Saesee), it's just appropriate that they finally give some love to this respected Jedi High Council member. So I really hope this rumor will turn out to be true.

"...and in my vision, we're all horribly deformed!" - says the Hepatitis-infected yellow-skinned guy to his old white-skin-peeling-off-his-900-year-old-green-faced master. Anyway, another great shot Cloney!
