This is a very interesting and unique approach in customizing the SW figures Tanotrooper! I've seen your works before and I never knew it would also look great for the SW characters! Among these I really like the gold Saber Guard from TFU2 and the battle-damaged Vader. Very well done!

I thought the astromech print was just fine, but when you mentioned the lack of printing I tried to zoom in the photo, and it does look like the rectangular outlines in the droid body, which are typical of previous astromech figs, are missing. I do hope this is just a misprint and the final version will have these outlines.

[Review] 8099 Midi-scale Imperial Star Destroyer
XimenaPaulina replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
This is just a great review Doc! I see you've been doing great in the RA as clearly shown by this high quality review. Aside from the crisp-clear pictures, I really like the way you compressed multiple shots in a single picture, it's great for presentation purposes IMO. Very well done! Regarding the set, I've never been (and probably never will be) a fan of midi-scale sets, so this is just an average set for me and just looks like a parts source for me. But comparing with the midi-MF, I'd say the MF is much better in overall design. -
Wow, such a very lovely creation.. Every detail is just fantastic, from the architecture of the building, the red car, the escalators, the entry points, the lighting of the subway, everything is just perfect! Truly an impressive work Колпак!

Those are very nice collection of speeder bikes MB! I really like the sleek overall design of each and one of them. But among the three, I think the Space Squid Alien's speeder is the best most especially because of the the matching color scheme. Great job on these!

Very nice MOC HeLena! It's instantly recognizable as a photo-shoot scene. I really like some of the simple details that you've pt in there - modifying the standard camera into a DSLR, clever use of that non-Lego cord piece, the light blue paper background sheet, and the lighting equipment and computer. Good job!

Those are indeed very interesting collection of design ideas and concepts. Some of them might even pass as regular sets. Well, except maybe for the fact that the proposed minifigs have movable jointed arms and legs, which clearly isn't acceptable for system-scale sets. But it's still nice to see the creativity and artistic talent shown by Niklas Jansson on this sketches.

Harry Potter: Wizard's Duel - Duelling Club
XimenaPaulina replied to ADHO15's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
That's very honorable of you Walter, very honest. See what happens when we don't separate PMs for DSs? The adjudicators have the tendency to commit crucial mistakes when reading the PMs. Anyway, Round 3 DS sent! (I could finally see the road to redemption) -
Thanks again for the hi-res pics grogall! So it's confirmed that the tactical droid is based on this one:

KielDaMan’s Star Wars Creations in LDD
XimenaPaulina replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thanks ceroknight! Yeah LDD 4.0 has has introduced a lot of new SW parts that weren't available in the previous version, and hopefully more to come in next versions. Here's the link the will guide you to unlock the LU mode of LDD. Thanks ISC! Nice choice, the ARC Gunship is one of my favorites as well. If you have the 7676 RGS, you only need some additional blue parts but the only downside is, there are some parts that are unavailable in standard lego colors (that's why I had to spraypaint them). -
This Shell Garage is looking great by the build LT, like what the others have said, the gas pump/bowser is very accurate to the real thing, and seems to be the 'star' of this build. The interiors are coming alog nicely as well, I'm certainly looking forward seeing the complete build. Very well done so far!

DS sent for Round 2! -
Thanks for sharing this review Brickviller! Quite a nice set, with new police torso prints, gold bars (!), and the addition of the small prison cell at the back. But as good as it is, I think it would be better to purchase a combination of the smaller sets than this one.

The wings are looking great so far! I see you fixed most of the inaccuracies of TLG's X-Wing, particularly the quad thrust engines and the wing laser cannons. I like the way you used the 1x2 curved bricks for the cylindrical engines, but basing on this pic, it seems the top half of the whole engine should be half-cylindrical in shape. I don't know if it's possible to extend those two 1x2 curved bricks all the way to the whole length of the engine to approximate the top half-cylinder shape. Also, is it possible to insert a 1x1 tile inside the cylinder to complete the T-shape detail? The laser cannons are big improvements too, I think you got the length right, but I feel the 2x2 thickness of the laser mount on the wings seems a bit too large, considering that part should be smaller in diameter than the extension of the thrust engines at the rear part. Also, if there is a way you could replace the this piece with something more cylindrical for the whole length of the laser cannons, it would be more accurate IMO. Still, this is already a great start and certainly looking forward for the rest of this MOC.

A very lovely Christmas scene Philocrites! I really like the simple re-enactment of the Nativity by the townspeople, and the details of the church is very well done, especially the glass mosaic windows. Nice work and good luck in the contest!

Great entry AC! The details of the mountain are just superb with the various earth-tone colors that you used and effective positioning of the slope pieces. Of course, the details inside the cave is amazing too, lots of scenes to marvel at. Impressive work as always!

Ah I see, thanks! I may not be able to change the LXF file/screenshot anymore but I'll remember that next time around. -
KielDaMan’s Star Wars Creations in LDD
XimenaPaulina replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thanks LT! Thanks Praiter! Yeah it took me some time to finish this one, it's a good thing I started out early. Actually, what was more challenging is the positioning of the minifigs, as you'll see some of the connections are not properly attached. Oh well, those are just photos anyway, at least one can easily get the point in the more important LXF instruction files. I think it took me around more or less 21 hours to complete these in a span of 7 days (1 LDD MOC per day). -
Thanks for the hi-res pic of the bank grogall! I assume that 6x6 tile in the van roof is new? It's the first time I saw that piece.

Harry Potter Minifigures by tin7
XimenaPaulina replied to tin7_creations's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Nagini is just awesome! You truly are the master of sculpey tin7, how you masterfully made the overall shape and design of this snake, with its highly-detailed prints and added playability, is simply a testament of your customization expertise! Of course, the other customs are great as well. Thanks for making these, as this is my favorite bunch in the world of HP. -
Wow, a truly impressive Jungle diorama you got there Basilicus! I really like how you did the muddy make-shift road, effectively using two shades of brown for an accurate look and texture. The yellow and black vehicles are very well done too, as is the wooden drug-dealers hideout. I think the trees are just about ok, I understand this spot is a the cleared-out forest area. Overall, simply great job clearly depicting this scene, nice opening pic too, reminds me of video game graphics.

Outstanding Hot-Rod MOC -zenn! The details are just fantastic and some very clever use for some of the pieces. Great work!

Nicely done dr jones! I must say the positioning of the arms and legs is really effective. Good job!
