Not only Castle fans, but non-Castle fans like me surely got my attention with this minifig set. This is the perfect opportunity for me to get these wonderful figs that I've been wanting to get before but couldn't (due to the impracticality of acquiring them through the regular sets). Now they're in one set, it's very convenient to buy them on a single purchase. Thanks for sharing this news L@go!

Wow, that's one massive LDD creation BasOne! Great work on this one, it must've taken you quite some time and lots of effort just to finish this one (23,000+ parts!)

Actually, I'm not really a strictly minifig-buyer, I do also want the vehicles, given that they are decently made, and if I really want them. My perfect example for this are my three most favorite SW purchases: 7676 RGS, 6212 X-Wing, and the 8088 ARC-170. I purchased those simply because of the ships, the figs were just added bonuses (which turned out to be great figs as well). It's just the 2011 line-up has no vehicle that really appeals to me, only the figs. (Exception is the MF)

Thank you for all the responses guys. I really appreciate your different POVs from various sides of the spectrum. I think Cloney hit it right on the bullseye: I only want the minifigs of most of the 2011 sets, so I'd better stick with this buying strategy even if it means shelling out quite a significant amount of $$$ for individual figs, since overall I'd be able maximize my budget for the whole year. It's actually a good thing that almost all of the 2011 set vehicles are generally crappy that's why it's easier to dismiss them and just buy the fantastic 2011 SW minifigs individually. Thanks again guys and we can now move on to the next question.

Nice shot Legoman, I really like how you made the trans-pieces glow in the dark. Did you use some special lighting or just photoshop? I also see you cropped the edges for the black background, but I feel you could still make the cropping with a cleaner finish.

But both Eeth Koth and Agen Kolar have Zabrak horns and long hair. The only thing going for Eeth is that he has already appeared in the CW series while Agen hasn't.

Your LDD rendition of Lobo is very accurate, great use of the white Pirate face! This one really looks like an upsized version of his original Spacehog. Good work on this one!

I really like the overall design of this Mech, particularly the effective use of those toothed 1x1s for the head and the design of the fingers. The chainsword ain't half-bad too. I hope you don't mind but I took the liberty of modifying the chainsword, below are the two versions. I don't know if it looks better or not. Still, good job on this one -N13OS-! Very interesting design for this hardsuit The Soup Nazi, but it kinda looks too skeletal and has bare exposed parts for a futuristic mecha in the 2300s. Still, nice work on the shield thingy and the custom fig.

Thanks for another review tin7! Now this set is definitely better than the game card packs. Hmmm, so there really is a distinct difference between the regular set figs and the card game figs (Ironically, the standard Lego plastic minifig of this set is much cheaper than the China plastic figs in the game card packs). It's nice to see also the accurate squarish hilt of the katana.

Wow, the Overmaster's Fiery Staff of Evil is definitely the Star of this MOC! Really very clever job on those swirling flames. I see quite a nice detail in the water too, but I can't seem to figure out what it is (?). Excellent work overall pig!

Nice review tin7, I understand your reason behind purchasing this set solely for the Zane minifig - it's still better getting Zane in this set rather than in a bigger but more expensive one.

This is a very wonderful collection of brick-build dragons Nuju Metru! Great job on making all of these, each with its own unique design, color scheme and details, and backstory. Among these I really like Imaust the best. Simply impressive work overall!

Isn't it great that TLG seems to have been giving us cool new minifigs in relatively small sets this 2011? Battle for Geonosis - Luminara Unduli Dathomir Speeder - Savage Oppress Geonosian Starfighter - Ki-Adi Mundi Replacing Cody with a new clone, more appropriately Ki-Adi's troop commander Jet, would be awesome! But that's asking TLG too much, and I'm already contented with Ki-Adi in this set.
