Wow, those are impressive custom minifigs Angeli! I really like Baatezu, he looks like a real Underdark demon with his large dragon wings and elongated devil horns. The other customs are very well done too! Great job on these!
-
That would be impossible, considering the hood piece is specifically made to fit exactly on a minifig head. I think those horns will be a detachable headgear (like those of Aayla, Ahsoka, Shaak, and Saesee), so just remove the horns when you put in a hood (the horns are covered inside the hood anyway).

Product Review - BrickForge Soldiers Gear
XimenaPaulina replied to Cygnet's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Great review as usual Cygnet! All those 'soldier's gears' are wonderful accessories, as they can be used not only for military minifigs but to civilian ones as well. The backpack, ammo pouches, canteen, and shovel are all well-designed and made, I might have a go for some of these. -
Harry Potter: Wizard's Duel - Duelling Club
XimenaPaulina replied to ADHO15's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Sorry to bother your holidays CF, but if you happen to pass by, CM has lready sent his Round 2 DS and just awaiting yours. No worries, take your time and I'll just post the results once I get your DS. Thanks and have a happy new year's celebration, and to all other fellow wizard duelists as well!. -
Wow, it's quite nice to know that you actually incorporated my humble suggestions to your MOC. And I must say this one looks much better now, I'm lovin' the use of that raised baseplate and interior details. Great job The Red Brick!

Ouch! That hurts Jammie, keenly waiting for your retaliation. Nice one Oky, you sure have some serious reserved 'ammos' there huh? But what's up with the "OKY OKY OKY OKY OKY OKY!!" cheerleader chant? Am I suppose to shout "JAMMIE JAMMIE JAMMIE!" too? (Now that would be embarrasing)

This is an excellent Train coach design with lots of fine interior details (chromes!) and nice opening roof playability. I also love that truck, very well done too! Good job on these CCOOK!

Happy New Year from Eurobricks!
XimenaPaulina replied to Bonaparte's topic in Forum Information and Help
No surprise for #1 alright. HAPPY NEW YEAR my fellow-Eurobrickers! This has certainly been my most significant and enjoyable year in any online forum, and I'm just happy to be part of this wonderful community. Wishing everyone a prosperous 2011! - KDM -
I certainly don't think 'hideous thing' is the proper term to describe the Aayla fig. In fact, I think it's a very well made minifig with lots of accurate face, Lekku, and torso details, like what I highlighted in my comparative Aayla review before. I'd take the more popular and revered Twi-Lek CW Aayla over that insignificant creepy Twi-Lek Bib Fortuna any day, both minifig quality-wise and character-wise. While I agree that most CW faces may not be the best minifigs around, I just don't agree generalizing every CW minifig as hideous creations without giving it some benefit of the doubt and analyzing the fig further. Anyways, your photos are getting funnier by the shot Clone 'O Patra, keep it up! Just curious though, you took a year-long break from this 'gig' and suddenly you've been 'on-fire' with your regular comics these past few weeks, will we expect your regular contributions at the same pace or will there be an upcoming long break again? I hope it won't be the latter case since we've really been enjoying your witty and funny SW funnies.

Wow, totally impressive creation Maegnus! I very well remember this gadget being a big Ghostbusters fan myself. The size and details are just perfect for this real life-scaled Ghostbusters Trap. Truly and outstanding piece of work!

Excellent steampunk sub workfromtheheart! I also like the studded finish, it adds an effective rough texture to the brown wooden body. The custom diver is very well done too, do I see a trans round plate inside the helmet? Great job!

Review: 10215 Obi-Wan's Jedi Starfighter
XimenaPaulina replied to mutley777's topic in LEGO Star Wars
FINALLY, a review of this set has been done! Thanks for doing this and sharing this long overdue review mutley777! As a JSF lover, I will be getting this set sooner or later, I don't have any UCS set yet and this will be the perfect chance to finally have one. Though other may argue that this is not worthy of the UCS label, I think otherwise and see it as a well-designed decent-sized UCS set that is quite affordable compared to other bigger UCS sets. -
[Review] 7930 Bounty Hunter Assault Gunship
XimenaPaulina replied to 501st Commando's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Ah no worries, I didn't even know there is supposed to be a holocron in this set, until you pointed that out in the set description. But I believe sok117 already answered the question, I just don't have any photos of it. -
Review: 7915 Imperial V-wing Starfighter
XimenaPaulina replied to starstreak's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thanks for another wonderful review starstreak! I guess this completes the review of all the 2011 first wave sets. I love the comparison pics of this V-Wing with the previous version. I'd say this is a pretty good buy for $20, you get a decent upgraded version of the V-Wing, and two new cool minifigs - the black Imperial pilot and that fantastic metallic silver astromech. It's also quite noticeable how TLG clearly differentiated this V-Wing with the previous one, not only changing the colors to Imperial black and grey but also appropriately using the Imperial logo to replace the Republic insignia of the old V-Wing. -
Ooh, that's a very artistic shot indeed! I simply love the snow effect and Vader's silhouette in the background. Impressive photography Avanaut, best of luck in the contest!

Very nice entry Stegoceras! Now that's a gift that even real-life people would want. Great idea and photo, good luck in the contest!

A Little Kiss Under the Mistletoe... Droid
XimenaPaulina replied to RoryoCox's topic in Watto's Junkyard
I really like the smoke effect, very well done photo editing! My only small nitpick is the choice of droids, though they are supposed to be 'neuter', I see both of them as 'masculine' astromechs. Maybe if you used a red or green astromech paired with R2, it would've been better IMO. But that's just a minor observation, the quality of your entry is great as it is. Great job Burman and good luck in the contest! -
Very nice interior lighting, that's from a light brick right? Good job achieving your intended shot, though I hope you could fix the graininess of this pic in time.

[Review] 7930 Bounty Hunter Assault Gunship
XimenaPaulina replied to 501st Commando's topic in LEGO Star Wars
This bounty hunter gunship Halo already appeared in the CW series in the creatively-titled Bounty Hunters episode in Season 2. Here's a screenshot. And a quick wookieepedia search will give you this entry for the Holocron. -
Winter Village: Whole village and the entry that didn't make it...
XimenaPaulina replied to NovaStar's topic in LEGO Town
Now that's living up to 'Expanding your Winter Village', your two MOCs really fit perfectly well with the two official Winter Village sets. Great job on these NovaStar! -
Very well done Oky! Your MOC is very accurate to the real swamp speeder - the shape, colors, and overall design. And that brickbuilt Todo is just awesome. Excellent work!
