Nice, simple, but effective, I like it! Very clever use of stickers to make an outside scenery on the windows, and I love the smooth and shiny finish of the wooden floor. Very well captured and best of luck Enpaz!

Very nice sepia shot! Really gives the old classic Western feel to the photo. Good work!

Nice shot ceroknight! Looks fine to me, I don't see the flaws that they've pointed out, it seems you've already corrected them. Well, it's a good thing you listen to the suggestions. Good luck in the contest!

Great review for a not-so-great set. Thanks for sharing anyway KimT! I may have a thing with JSFs, but this clearly is the worst version that TLG has ever released. Bland color scheme and the design seems to be going on the wrong direction IMO. I still don't get it why they have to extend the cockpit side parts by 1 stud just to make it more bulbous. The only saving grace for this set is the new astromech and the tactical droid, which I will purchase separately and pass on the complete set without any doubt whatsoever. Nice floral bedsheet BTW.

These are very well-done decals NickAb, very cleanly-done and accurate to the real design. Good job, especially for your first one!

Harry Potter: Wizard's Duel - Duelling Club

Hufflepuff Magus Frankfurt Flashburn versus Gryffindor Magus Ollivander Dippet Round 1 Farnkfurt Flashburn l 5 _____________________Ollivander Dippet l 5 Low - 1 ____________________________________Low - 0 Stupefy! - 0 _________________________________Expecto Patronum! - 0 Mid - 0______________________________________Expelliarmus! - 0 Low - 1_____________________________________Sectumsempra-Mid - 0 Expelliarmus! - 0 _____________________________Silencio! - 0 Health: 5___________________________________Health: 3 Two Maguses have come back from their Winter break earlier than most students. Without much to do around the campus, Hufflepuff Frankfurt Flashburn challenges Ollivander Dippet in a post-vacation work-out duel, which the Gryffindor gladly accepts. Ollivander quickly begins the duel with a low spell targeted towards the Frankfurt's legs, but the Hufflepuff counters with the same but much stronger spell that knocks the Gryffindor off his feet. Frankfurt immediately follows-up with a Stupefy, only to be cancelled with Ollivander's Labrador Patronum. The Gryffindor rises up and then disarms his opponent, but the Hufflepuff recovers his lost wand quickly and retaliates with another low sweeping spell that hits the diminutive Magus on the feet. Frankfurt then disarms his downed opponent, and prepares to unleash his next attack as the opening round comes to a close. Holiday weight seems to have not slowed down Frankfurt as he dominates the early goings of the duel. Will Ollivander be able to reverse his fortune in the next round? Send in your Round 2 DS when ready. -
Actually, I do experience this 'unformatted' page sometimes, especially when I have crappy internet connection. I'm no IT expert so I don't know the specific cause of this issue, but what I usually do is just refresh the page and it reverts back to the standard formatted view.

Excellent overhead lighting! Very realistic, the photo looks like it's directly taken from the scene in the movie. Great job as always AC! One of the strongest entry so far.

Thanks for sharing this great review DarthPineapple! It's nice to finally see this set up-close, and I have to say the shuttle is not that bad, it's quite decent. But obviously, we all know the selling point of this set is the new Saesee and Shaak figs. I've yet to see someone declare that they want the shuttle and another Anakin/Obi-Wan. And for such a steep price just to get those two new jedi figs? I don't think it's worth it, and seeing this review just reinforced my decision to forego buying the whole set and just purchase the figs individually. With all due respect to our Iktotchi Jedi Master, I think people are forgetting the fact that Seasee is not the most handsome jedi around.

Excellent review starstreak! Thanks for sharing this. This is my most anticipated set in the first wave, and it certainly doesn't disappoint. Luminara looks really good, and her face is pretty decent for a CW face. Rex is a nice pick-up for this set, the BARC is a good addition to any clone army and the proton cannon is surprisingly well-built IMO. I really can't wait to have my own. Oh and BTW, I've asked this before but would still like some confirmation, is Luminara's headdress the same as the old one? Judging by the accurate fold detail at the back it looks like a new mold?

Harry Potter: Wizard's Duel - Duelling Club

And an adjudicator you'll get. Send your DSs my way. -
In the immortal words of The Miz: AWESOME! This is probably the most accurate Lego football scene I've ever seen, great job on the appropriate huge number of spectators and of course, the effective posing of the football players for the action shots. Excellent work Calvin!

That was freakin' hilarious! Great comeback Jammie! I'd say that's a triple-whack (height difference thingy, exposing Oky's ***** mind, and his chick-repellant moves), you sure made up for lost time. We're glad to have you back in the circulation. Now I'm pretty sure Oky already has his prepared retaliation (for several weeks already), but let's just wait until he comes back from the moon.

Very well done, like the first one. I think this second version is better with more room for additional firemen, though it lacks the water pump on top of the first version.

Very nicely done Belville MOC smittyfan! I've never been a fan of Belville (simply because it's for girls ), but I sure enjoyed looking at your colorful and 'looks-like-fun' party atmosphere inside this Belville Titanic. Great work!

Another nice vignette Daniil, I agree the man-taking-off-his-shirt effect is very well-conveyed with the clever positioning of the minifig. Good job!

Review of promo-set 852996 - Lego Club Max.
XimenaPaulina replied to Daniil K.'s topic in Special LEGO Themes
Nice review, I think this is a really good minifig overall - nicely-printed torso, 'pocketed' pants, cool-looking hair, and a unique happy facial expression. Too bad it ain't available in regular sets. -
REVIEW: 8803 LEGO Minifigures Series 3
XimenaPaulina replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Wonderful review as always WhiteFang! Very comprehesive, detailed, and well-written, you sure are living up to the expectations of being EB's Collectible Minifig Summarizer. As for Series 3, it looks like in every series TLG has been improving a lot of the minifig details, and this series clearly shows some interesting enhancements, most especially printed hairpieces (Hula Dancer, Elf) and detailed accessories (Rapper's boombox, snowboard, shield). Series 4 looks promising too, but I agree with Rick, the only downside is these collectibles are being released in such a rapid rate that I (and probably some) are way behind in acquiring these. -
I simply love the overall homey feel of this vig.. Very nice work on the drawers, PC mouse, custom stickers, and the shelves. Keep it up!

Classic space... Trans wedge plates... Great review CB, thanks for sharing. The Blacktron fig looks really good even by today's standard, and the ship is decently-designed for its size.
-
I simply love this futuristic build! Great backstory, and even better construction of this run-down structure with elements perfectly suited to the description of the period. I like the use of those trans-pieces for the futuristic holo-neon ads, but like what Dr.Nightmare pointed out, did the Japanese invade London in this Neo-world? Excellent job effectively conveying the message of this build Alopex!
-
IMO, your Sub is way better than the official one. Very effective use of those curved slopes and wedges for an overall smooth and sleek finish. I also love the use of those trans-orange columnar pieces at the rear, it perfectly matches the cockpit piece and blends perfectly with the white-light bley color scheme. Great job Wowplayer!

[MOC] Lego universe classic space rocket
XimenaPaulina replied to MightySlickPancake's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Great work crabboy! I really like the way you combined the classic space look and the modern SNOT building in that space rocket. Very well done! -
Hmmm, interesting. I didn't know TLG also believes in the 'unlucky No. 13' superstition. Like what Kumpelkante pointed out, there are societies/culture (like in my place) where No. 13 is considered bad luck, and that's the most probable reason they left out 13 in the PM sets.
