Wow, a very impressive rendition of Hogwarts in LDD LEGO Humor! It's just too bad we can't fully see the details since the castle is a bit zoomed out, but from those images I'd say it's very accurate to the real thing. BTW, why didn't you just take a screenshot of the model in LDD (click Tools>Take a Screenshot) instead of using PrintScreen? That would be better IMO, just a humble suggestion.

Review: 7913 Clone Trooper Battle Pack
XimenaPaulina replied to Stegoceras's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Very nice review Stegoceras! I really like some of your keen (and funny) observations on this set - the wrong Clone Trooper name of the Clone Commander, the "stolen" pistols by the ARF, and the friendly fire hitting the ARF in the boxart. Regarding the set, my view of this has always been the same since Day One - this is really a must-buy. Excellent variation of new clone figs with a pretty decent speeder (the best BP vehicle IMO), just overall a very good buy anytime of the day. -
Excellent MOC HJR! Very accurate overall design using all those curved and sloped pieces. The full rotating and swiveling functionality are very well done too. Great job!

Quer'no the Invader: The begining of the end!
XimenaPaulina replied to Forresto's topic in Community
You sure have some impressive writing skills Forresto, very nicely done! I picked the "Season's Greetings" one, much better artwork IMO, and I picked to attack the ISS next, since I don't want to offend anyone from London, Moscow, or Rome. Anyway great job on these and looking forward for more! -
KielDaMan’s Star Wars Creations in LDD
XimenaPaulina replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thanks darth yogi. I didn't had those trans-clear pieces too before, just ordered them all from BL. Just get one of that Slave I cockpit piece and 20 of those 4x3x1 panels and you're already half-way there. -
This is looking great BrickSindito, I'm certainly looking forward how this LDD MOC will turn out. Nice job and keep it up!

Wow, this is simply an excellent creation Karlo! It was truly an enjoyable experience looking at every bit of fantastic detail in this "Zootanic" MOC. Lots of great details worth mentioning - the brickbuilt motorcycles, the stone Budhha in the botanical garden, the croc heads above the water, and of course my favorite, the white glass roofed resto. Impressive work on this masterpiece, my hats off to you Sir!

Pretty neat idea, I really like the sad backstory behind it. But I agree with Soluscud, the photo quality could still be improved with proper lighting and exposure.

The new HP banner looks great! Definitely better than the previous one. Another brilliant work Hinck!

Star Wars: The Clone Wars: season 3 discussion
XimenaPaulina replied to Corvus's topic in Culture & Multimedia
It's just weird seeing them with all the same 'Savage'-look, unlike other alien species with variation in skin color (Twi'Leks, Nautolans, etc.) Though it's really great to watch three episodes in a row for the Savage story arc. First time in the whole CW series right? -
Those are pretty good torso decal designs especially for your first one efullner. I like the details you've put in there, I'm sure you'll be able to improve those further following cralegoboy's suggestion. I could understand how it's difficult to achieve the smooth transition of lines using crude softwares such as MS Paint, so you might want to try more advanced programs like Adobe Photoshop or Corel Draw.

This is a pretty good entry dede_la_fee! I love the use of that printed baseplate and the design of the front porch with those glass doors. It's also nice to see that classic yellow car with a futuristic design. Impressive job overall and I wish you the best in the competition!

Great MOC HeLena! The room is very well done with lots of fantastic details that is perfectly suited for a historian. I'm lovin' the "Ideas Blackboard" and that burnt-sided scroll. Keep your wonderful creations coming!

I.S.S. Imperial Fist, Emperor Class Battleship
XimenaPaulina replied to BasOne's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
That thing is HUGE! You really have a knack of doing massive ships in LDD BasOne! This one is looking great by the build, lots of interesting details you're putting in each update. Keep it up and certainly looking forward for the finished product! -
Haha, nice one Baylego! Great job on converting your sigfig into a bada$$-looking (but still cute ) bounty hunter. The ship maybe simple, but it perfectly fits well the pilot IMO. Very well done!
-
Nice work on this Sig Fig Troopmaker, looks good with the chaingun. The only I may suggest if you're planning to make this your sigfig is to take a better photo of this. Remember than the avatar is 100x100 pixels maximum size, so you might want to re-position those 2 figs in such a way that they will both fit in a square dimenison rather than in that rectangular view.

Review: 2504 Spinjitzu Dojo
XimenaPaulina replied to Cardinal Brick's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thanks for this review Cardinal Brick! I agree with prateek, the first time I saw this set in the prelims I instantly recognized the dojo's resemblance with the one in Kung Fu Panda. This is a pretty decent set with lots of MOCing potential, especially the 'oriental'-looking parts. Sensei Wu is a lovely minifig IMO, with his new beard piece and headgear. Too bad for the steep price. -
Now that is a creative shot! I love the unconventional focus of the subject at the bottom right corner. Great job on this shot TinyPiesRUs! Best of luck in the contest!
-
I'm lovin' those snow-laden trees! Great technique using those bar pieces for the slender trunk of the trees. The unevenness of the snowy road is cleverly done too. Excellent job overall Skalldyr!
-
Very well done vignette showing this nice little Christmas scene Plissken! Great quality photo but as Iz said, trying different angles might provide you with a better shot. Good luck!
-
Very good entry cralegoboy! It's nice to see even the Stormies 'acknowledging' (and even saluting) the birth of Jesus. Good luck in the contest!
-
What I meant was this "Luke finally discovers Vader is his father in this Cloud City setting" has been done several times before, and it was nice to see blackknight's take on this using Santa Vader (his own twist as I've said in my post).
-
Nice entry blackknight! Even if this has been done several times before, it's nice to see your take on this scene with your own twist. God luck in the contest!

Thanks for sharing this news iamded! Looks like 2011 will be the greatest year in minifig history with all these wonderful minifig-based sets for 2011: - Collectible Minifigure Series 3 - Collectible Minifigure Series 4 - Fantastic new minifigs in the SW line - and now, these Fairytale/Historic and Community Minifig sets! Looks like I'm gonna go broke just collecting these figs.

That's an excellent fire truck MOC zeki! I really like the various details on it, particularly the storage compartments on both sides. Do you have some reference photo for comparison purposes? But I think it's safe to assume that the design of this one is accurate to the real thing. Great job!
