Welcome to the site Madam. It's always a pleasure to have FOLs joining our online community. Enjoy the rest of your stay here! Yes, and you can kindly request it here.

Excellent creation mikey! Looking at the first photo, I knew there was something interesting inside that underground temple. And lo and behold, the interiors are simply wonderful! Gotta love the depths of those arches. Great job!

Congratulations CM on your new-born! I'm really happy everything went well. Even if we're just members of an online community, it's as if we're welcoming a new part of our EB family.

This is one of the reasons why I'd like to visit Japan someday, just to see these lovely springtime cherry blossoms.

For SW collectors this advent calendar is definitely a must-have, but for selective buyers like me I might just have to pass on this one. The only element that interests me on this one is Santa Yoda, the rest are easily-obtainable minifigs and mini/micro models that you could always make with spare parts.

Printed Helmets by Arealight
XimenaPaulina replied to Brickdoctor's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
That's the first thing I noticed too, well I guess one would still have to do some bit of customization to modify the black visor print of the commando helmets to get the accurate 'lighted' light blue visor, like on these ones below by minifigmaker.com. One would also need to customize the torso and leg prints, as well as getting the appropriate accessories and weapons if one would want to have the complete Delta Squad. Real life personal stuff is currently keeping me away from doing any lego-related activities (MOCs, customization, reviews), but when I find the time I'm sure I'll get back to doing these. -
Second Wave of Minifigs on CustomMinifigs.com!
XimenaPaulina replied to Omicron's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Very nice customs, thanks for sharing this Omi! I'm quite interested in the Riot Policeman minifig, though getting a complete squad of these might be too expensive. -
Very interesting Sprint Car design legomaniac! This is actually the first time I've seen one and I must say you really captured the overall look quite accurately. I also like your truck and trailer. Very well done!

Hey, I really love that song! ('Pinas represent!) This is simply an amazing and unique entry for the Brickentine contest Leo-J, you managed to tell the story through an excellently-done montage. Impressive job and best of luck in the contest!

Moc: Tropical forest
XimenaPaulina replied to Captain Flint's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Great MOC Captain Flint! Every detail of this build is very impressively-done - from the rock formations, surrounding greeneries, to the waist-high murky trails, and that Gorilla warrior. Excellent work! -
Putting to good use your wonderful landspeeder and evaporator builds eh Praiter? I agree your shots are getting more excellent by the entry and funny as always!
-
Nicely done custom minifig SpyFlops! It's easily recognizable as Mario. I also can't help but notice that we employ similar torso design customization technique using cut colored stickers. BTW, I think this topic would be better in the MCW subforum, where all custom minifig creations are posted. Thanks for sharing this anyway.

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
XimenaPaulina replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Well, even if this is totally not related to LSW, this is the topic that will quench your curiosity. Just a friendly reminder to all though, let's keep the questions in this thread related to Lego Star Wars. Thank you. -
Well, you know kids nowadays, with their little attention span I think they would have trouble appreciating the opening scene inside the all-white Tantive IV with rebels doin' some old-school blaster fight. They'd rather watch 'colorful' cartoons/shows like Spongebob, Barney, or Pokemon. But in time when he's mature enough I'm sure he'll recognize the fact the Star Wars paved the way for the current visual effects technology we are enjoying nowadays.
-
Yeah saw that one too last night on CNN, it was pretty funny and entertaining. But I wouldn't really expect a 4-/5-year old (?) kid to watch the OT movies, being a kid he'll probably get bored after the first few minutes.

Topic moved to the Gen. Questions thread. Continue discussion here. -
Oh wow, this just made my day. What a great and hilarious MOC Etzel! The reaction of the men are classic as is the effective posing of those naughty peeping girls. Pretty nice use of the trans-clear disc for the shower water too.

I could still remember your previous corner park, and this one is really a great upgraded version of your old one. The newspaper stand is very nicely done (even with some spiders on the corner ). The whole build effectively shows a busy and lively park scene. Great job as always BlueBard!
-
Very nice build Ezechielle, this one reminds me a lot of similar scenes I see in movies. I think this is one of the most effective uses of those yellowed white pieces as it really gives the ruins an accurate old and damaged look. Good work!
-
This one already looks good Peabo, the 'coffee' color scheme is really very unique and visually pleasing. The overall design is conservative but effective, my only criticism aside from the aforementioned lion heads is that the top arches have some exposed areas, or is that still on the works? Anyway, nice job so far!
-
No that's alright, you may keep the UCS name, it's your creation anyway so feel free to name it whatever you like.
-
Great to finally see this (almost) coming to completion, simply a superb job cavegod! The showdown shot is classic, especially the one with the Coca-Cola advertisement (your sponsor?)
-
Nicely done Dharkan, though the UCS title is a bit misleading since this one is not an upscaled and highly-detailed version of the 8014 Clone Walker but rather looks like a different model altogether.
-
Mightily impressive creation Marco! The sheer size and highly-detailed nature of this Hogwarts Castle is simply stunningly beautiful. It's also nice to see that not only is this a wonderful display model but also a playable one with the opening functionality of the interiors. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing this with us!

Late but still great nonetheless! Great play of the white and red pieces to convert the classic grey AT-ST into this Santa-fied version. This one is a perfect vehicle for KimT Santa! Excellent work as always!
