    Is the gold knight supposed to be the chosen undead? Its a nice MoC and you've textured the rock nicely.

    I don't see why this Azog fig is so wanted, you'll get him in a future set just in a different colour.

    When I saw the images it certainly reminded me of knight Artorias, I also love the first two shots.

    While I think the hair looks better I still don't think it looks right. Its too curly whereas Tauriel's hair is straight.

    I wouldn't judge whether a set is good value or not on price per piece ratio alone. It should also be judged on how substantial the set itself is.

    I really want to get the princess and the evil sorcerer figs but I don't want the set they come in... Ill probably just have to buy them off bricklink for a high price. And does anyone ave any idea as to what the prices in the UK will be?

    Good MOC! I like how you've used tans and browns to represent rocks instead of grey as it makes it more interesting and unique.

    Good review! I like the minifigs and the new faces are good, the set itself is weak but I think the main focus is supposed to be on the figs. Looks like not just a good way to build up an army but also good for foliage pieces and the wheels.

    I guess they don't look too bad, but you have a good point about printing. And I still think even if the printing could be done I would still prefer sand green.

    Even if they could be molded in trans it would still look terrible as you could see all the pegs which attach the arms and legs.

    As much as I miss the good old bionicle canisters, I prefer the new packaging if it keeps the cost down.

    Simple but it looks nice and you have blended the rock part with the wooden part well. My only suggestion is that maybe do some more landscaping with the grassy bit around it, otherwise great MOC!

    Nice build, not only have you made it look very detailed for a micro but also added in loads of action and variation to make it more interesting.

    I would want it to look like a regular minifig head though, just with ears instead of something like yoda's head.

    Does anyone have the UK prices for these sets? I really want to see if gatehouse raid is worth it or not.

    For Azog they could just make a specially molded piece which would look like a regular head with some ears.

    I absolutely love that wall technique. This is certainly going to be one mighty project!

    After reading that review the ship is quite tempting, but unfortunately I simply wont have the space to store it.

    The theme is alright. I'll probably only buy a few forest ambushes and possibly the gatehouse raid for the barded horse which the dragon knight has. Otherwise none of the sets really appeal to me, which is a shame as I quite like the minifigs. However I'm sure it will be a great theme for the younger audiences yet still have many useful elements for the older audiences as well. As for the dragon? I never really liked those kind of dragons, I only really like brick built ones or the classic style dragon.

    I like the look of this set a lot! The designers clearly put a lot of effort into it and it is up to the same quality as the other LOTR setst. I also think I prefer to have an interior rather than a fully enclosed tower with nothing inside (although I would have loved both).
