  1. Nah mate. Even if I had one, which obviously I don't. Use pictures as a reference. And your imagination...
  2. I used this piece: This way: Sir, This vile insult of using glue can be only avenged with Blood. Choose your weapon!
  3. I painted it by hand, using brush and acrylic paints, thick ones (those come in small tube sets - also available in DIY stores, relatively cheap). I also painted sails for my spanish galleon, posted HERE
  4. The material is the fabric cut from window blinds (this roller thing on windows), it's available in DIY stores or construction markets e.g. Leroy Merlin or Castorama in Europe. This fabric is very close to the material that LEGO uses. And the cost of a set for a small window (fabric 40×100 cm) is about 6 euro. It propably is purchasable online too.
  5. Those hatches under galleries are openable, but acces to interior is poor, so I skipped furnishing. Rooms are empty below deck, nothing to see there. Here's some shots of the deck to make it up. Yup, they were some kind of militia, But they were lookin' good
  6. Ahoy mates! Here's my newest ship - Batavia inspired VOC galleon, that carries emblems of Amstredam and Amsterdam department of VOC. Ship is build on old-type hull, carries coffee-dyed, machine-sewn, PVC-fabric sails and hand painted flags. The crew is inspired by Night Watch painting by Rembrandt
  7. As I searched while building the ship, those turrets (white towers) were simply toilets for officers Towers like these can also be seen on lego Pirates of Carribean "Silent Mary" ship, although equipped with some cannons.
  8. I think I'll post something in a week or so. Bellow I post a few pictures more.
  9. The horse one is from CMF I believe, and the other one is plain yellow shield with red sticker.
  10. Well, it's been a while... 8 years since I posted here. I present to you St.Miguel - a real Armada Flagship. It is inspired by Spanish galleon St.Martin, which was a flagship of a Great Armada (google it, if you want). Sails are fabric made and handpainted. Almost no illegal techniques were used. More in Brickshelf gallery Ahoy!
  11. >>>>>What I don't get is why the parrot is still alive. :)) Ooops! My bad!
  12. -Yes, honey, I've got a reservation at finest town's tavern! - Yes, I know there's only one! - Nobody's gonna bother us! - Just you and me this time!
  13. That's right Mr. Traffic Warden! You'll get what you deserve: For all 'Pulp fiction' fans: "Say 'Incorrect parking' again, I dare you, I double dare you motherbricker, say 'incorrect parking' one more Brickdamn time!"
  14. Yup! I like your moc. The only thing that bothers me a little is this technic-pin-joiner palm tree. But overall it is a great moc.
  15. I recently spent some time on my Queen Anne's Revenge. Here's result: Fully Rigged Ship - Three Masts - 20A It's the first time I implemented CGH tumblehome technique in my ship. It turned out pretty well I think. I am happy with hull overall shape With open gun hatches. Handmade pvc sails. Flickr gallery C&C welcomed!
  16. 175A Sometimes life isn't just pack of rainbow jellybeans. Sometimes rage hidden inside just got to come out. It's not about girls doing boys' stuff, it's about girls not being good anymore... My 4 YO daughter asked if friends minidolls can be pirates too. Of course they can! With this fast sloop they can plunder, murder and do other pirate stuff. This sloop has machine sewn PVC-fabric sails and shooting cannons armed with pink bullets. Beware Heartlake mall! C&Cs welcomed
  17. Here's my little upgrade for Brick Bounty: Topsail and gaff added. 174D Sails are made of PVC fabric and dyed red with permament marker. And second upgrade: lifeboat added. C&C welcomed
  18. I recently upgraded my ship by adding headrails, so I decided to post picture of them and bump up this old thread. So here it is:
  19. I've used this part in my curent WIP Neptune. You can notice this part underneath the side galleries. Also, Kolonialbeamter used it in his LDD projects, for ex. here.
  20. Some new additions. Cannons: Thank you! The gaff-rigged mizzen-mast: The anchor: Thanks. Still workin on the stern. But it definitely will be opening. Thanks! Just pushed 'Edit' button
  21. I love it! (and of Course great rockwork).
  22. Here's mine: more here
  23. Great. I love the disapointment written on his face.
  24. UPDATE I've been working on my ship for some time. I think it looks much better now. I'm pretty proud how galleries turned out. Still many things to do- there are no decks, cannonns, headrails and many other things. I also think, that bonaventure mizzen should be removed and mizzen should be gaff-rigged. And what do you think, fellow companions?
