Hello! I am currently building a 4x4 Volkswagen T3 panel van.It weighs about 2.5kg and it has portal axles, which makes it quite low on speed, but gives high amount of torque. The only thing that bothers me is the large turning radius of the front axle. This causes the wheels to stuck to the edges of the wheelarches and so the running gear starts to grind. Otherwise it works fine although its quite slow Some pictures are found here Can anybody help me what should I do when it says "You have exceeded your allotted disk space for attachments"

I was going to but the site in some reasons does not let me upload any pics. Ill post some once I reach home -
Im currently building Volkswagen with 4x4 drivertain and I have a problem with steering having too large turning radius for the wheels. The wheels are moving too much and so rubbing against the wheel arches so I was thinking if there's a possibility to create an drive axle which would make the wheels turn on the spot, not moving widely across the wheel arch? Thanks!

Im using one XL engine. The Axle I have produced have the gears with four round teeth on them, to prevent the grinding. -
Hello! Can anybody please give some hints or tips or even some instructions how to make a heavier model to drive fast using gears? Im currently building K2000 model weighing some 3kg and the axle I built is quite slow, so Im looking for alternative axle designs which would make the car move abit more quickly Thanks!

Today was successful day! I completed installing the RC motors and lights to my Trans Am. I also converted the front end into K2000 front nose. I am thinking of turning the dash into Kitt dash aswell. Thanks for the feedback! I just finished the seats and adjusted the boot hatch. Now Im going to focus on the running gear and suspension.Possibly gonna add the working steering wheel too, but this means that I have to rebuild the dash and front axle (which will be rebuilt anyways). Looks really neat and full of nice details! Great work, Keep it up!

Hello! I stumbled on the old Knight Rider series on the other day. There I saw the Michael Long's Recaro Trans Am in the pilot episode and I thought I havent built any US cars a while and I said to myself that I'll have a go. So I started the model about three days ago from now (17.11.2014).Its still rough around the edges but Im trying to make it more realistic as I build it. There will be fake V8 engine under the bonnet and also I might add the suspension to it, if I wont crash it or anything. The model already has pop up headlights, openable rear hatch and removable roof panels. Thats all for now, but I keep you informed about the progress If someone is interested. As there still appears to be the problem with uploading pictures directly, I'll have them with links: http://www.upload.ee...365261/Ttop.jpg http://www.upload.ee...65259/Ttop1.jpg http://www.upload.ee...65262/Ttop2.jpg http://www.upload.ee...65266/Ttop3.jpg http://www.upload.ee...65267/Ttop4.jpg The rear lights appear as they would really glow http://www.upload.ee...5271/lights.jpg

Old Truck Version 2
Richter replied to gti180's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Really nice truck! I like the way you used the battery box as the base in the crane area. Did you follow some real truck or is it in a sense just a random model? For me it kind of looks like a Soviet Gaz 66 truck :D But anyways well done! Ps. I love the trailer aswell! very nifty! -

Richter's Azlk 2140 rally
Richter replied to Richter's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Today I completed the body shell and lights. I also decided that I will probably make this car a normal vehicle instead of rally car,but I'm not sure yet.Anyway I visited the Lego store today, and bought a bunch of new parts, especially light brown and yellowish ones, which would look nice for the interior of my SL. In some reasons I cannot post pictures right now,but I'll try to do that soon! -
Richter's Azlk 2140 rally
Richter replied to Richter's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Started on the Rally Moskvich today... It will have small RC motor for steering and XL motor for driving. More updates coming soon! Well there was "AZLK 2140SL" not "Moskvich 2140SL" so I'd still call the vehicle AZLK, as Its the product of the AZLK factory -
Hello! I have not been in this forum for quite a long time under that name because my previous account was named Wabariik, but as I forgot the password, I had to come back to this account. Aside of my current Moskvich model (408) that is on the picture with soviet era mAz 8114 trailer, Im going to build AZLK 2140SL . The AZLK is basically the same as Moskvich, but its really a different branch of that company. The 2140SL that Im going to build will have a paint scheme of black and white. The hood and boot lid is going to be black with a little black stripe on the sides, but the rest of the vehicle will be white.I'm not sure about the interior yet, but this will be sorted soon. I will get cracking on the model tomorrow. This model will probably have RC motors inside so it will be radio controlled.I have already built a model engine that is a model of the standard Moskvich 1.5L 4 cylinder single carburettor engine. As I will get on with it tomorrow, I'll provide you with some more pictures, but currently that's all I can reveal about that model.
