  1. Nice Review. Cool idea. Glad you posted pictures. I read you writing about the project last week in another thread...So when do you begin taking orders
  2. Is that what they send after you if your late for work at Legoland or does that thing keep you from ever leaving? Either way...I don't like the look of that probe! Poor Hinckley.
  3. Nice CAD design. The record player is really cool.
  4. Very cool. I like the ravine and the water fall. The two towers with the bridge look great. The pictures look a little blurred which makes seeing some of the detail tougher.
  5. Nice. The finished product does not dissapoint. Very cool.
  6. Brilliant! As soon as I read the word bison and saw who built the MOC I knew it would be cool. Very nicely done.
  7. Cool. That was my first car...at least a beat up copper colored 1980 version.
  8. I'd actually never seen that one before. Might be the best Pirate Lego movie I have seen. It was brillant. Thanks
  9. Seems to me your going to have to MOC all these sets yourself. I am a huge Tolkien fan and would have loved Lego to have had that license but at this point they have given us everything we really need through the castle line (with the exception of elves - which ofcourse they will) to do LOR MOC. I'd love to see someone start producing some large scale LOR MOC's. What Lego would have produced for these sets would have never been able to satify the AFOL community.
  10. Well one you gotta love all the grass and weeds and two who doesn't love jumpin dirt bikes and shootin zombies. Putting those two things together....I smell a future X games event or perhaps Apoc-Games! Awesome MOC.
  11. My story is pretty straight forward. I like the CS Forester Horatio Hornblower books. I like Lego, especially Pirate Lego. Brickblower just sounds wrong so it had to be Hornbricker. I selected the Commodore rank because I love that specific book but also because at 36 I am to talented to be just a post Captain but still a little young to be a Rear or Vice Admiral.
  12. That's funny! I haven't done any lunchtime building in a while but have been considering a lunchtime project just recently. Anyway nic MOC it made me laugh.
  13. That's funny. I am glad you can remember back that far. Great review for a real classic mini!
  14. Nice truck. The design looks great. It looks just right to hold all those soldiers/mercs.
  15. I love baseball so I would be all for it but they would have to be pretty big sets.
  16. You have a lot of talent. Great sculpture!
  17. Your pictures are great! Drawing is one of those talents I always wished I had growing up. I look forward to more!
  18. I think the car looks great, although there is something kind of jeepy about the front end or perhaps its the tires that are giving it that truck feel. My only real comment is that the Mob guy needs a black hat. I think he could get wacked for wearing a brown one. Great job overall. Look forward to seeing the MOC is goes in.
  19. If you are talking multiple base plates big then what I do is a drawing that shows the base plate layout and then I decide what type of structure each plate will have and then I start building one plate section at a time. I order bricks as I need them usually one structure at a time.
  20. I like Agents. It's the perfect catch all. It can easily be James Bond. It can be MOD Squad. Mission Impossible. Charlie's Angels. I have been toying with the idea that agents could also be used to come up with some great Dirk Pitt (Dirk Brick) MOC's for those Clive Cussler fans out there of which I am most certainly one!
  21. I figured it was something like that. Well it (the lean) really grabs your attention and kinda of gives a distortion effect to the overall appearance. Pretty neat. Good idea to use that hinge I couldn't quite make it out in any of the photos so thanks it was bugging me not knowing.
  22. WOW. This is one of those double take MOC's that look so real at first glance you don't believe they are Lego creations. It's fantastic. When you say WIP does that mean its part of something bigger because it sure looks complete in what you have presented here. Really beautiful!
  23. It's got a real trippy kind of feel to it. I like it. It is very interesting to look at. Two questions: Why does the top lean and what did you use as the decoration above the main archwat at the bottom. Very nice MOC.
  24. I should have followed my gut. I have stayed away from this topic for a while but finally broke down and read it up to date. Now I feel like putting a minifigure spear in my brain. Hana Montana and HS Musical Lego sets...I have to go roll around in some classic-space and classic-castle parts to cleanse the images from my mind.
  25. I'd probably stop at the 19th century to avoid that type of modern day conflict. Let them evaluate the 20th century in 80 or 90 years to see who to include. I think they could find 10 of the most influential people who weren't mass murders.
