Simply amazing work there. Its amazing how you can get the MTTs to fit in there. Love the battle droid cockpit too. I can only imagine how massive and impressive if I saw this with my own eyes.

Hey nausi, as I promised, here are the pics. enjoy! I've also decided to showcase my BF knights with their custom shields. Shield designs are courtesy of anthony sava at classic-castle.com. The shield designs were printed on photo paper and stuck on the shields using tape. The black knight(forth from left) is the leader of my black falcon army. sorry if the images are a little small. perhaps I got the wrong image size conversion settings. *edit: fixed the image size problem!

Very nice mos indeed. Love how you can use the new pirate baseplates in the moc. With regards to improvements, I'd say that if its supposed to be a lair, it should look more like a hideout, and not a house. Maybe make it look more like a cave by making the roof smaller and adding more foilage. Just my thoughts.

Trailer for the Ryloth Trilogy! (Clone Wars)
TLV replied to Snake...SNAKE...SNAAAAKE?!'s topic in Culture & Multimedia
The jedi are so cool in this movie. Now I really want to buy all the new CW sets, especially the republic gunship. -
Hmm why isn't there any castle minifigs in it? And 2 classic space minifigs? Classic space fans would probably cheer but its really disappointing for a castle and pirates fan like me. Even the rare pirate has its let down. Pink is a weird color to choose for the vest. Why can't they stick to the original colors? I guess I most probably won't buy this set unless I can get it for a good price.

Vintage Minifigure Collection includes a pirate!
TLV replied to General Armendariz's topic in LEGO Pirates
I'm ok with this pirate minifig as it as quite a rare fig after all. It only appears in the red beard runner i think. However I do have one complain, that is why is his vest pink? Weird color... -
Love the sleek design of your landspeeder. you certainly had a very different approach to building it, but it worked out beautifully. Love the jar-jar reindeers too! lol.

the magnet set looks really nice! minifigs with accessories! I wished it came with the rare female pirate minifig or the governer though.

More beautiful vingettes! I really like the WWI and orleans ones! keep it coming!

Nice MOCs! I especially like the one about agincourt and the roman invasion. Maybe do one about the crusades perharps?

Caribbean Clipper is kinda like a medium sized ship. it is as wide as BSB and SES, but not as long as them. I voted for imperial flagship. I have both the CC and IF and I feel that IF has a much more elegant design. Somehow CC just seems to have the wrong dimensions to me. Its too short! It'll buy a few more hull sections to lengthen it someday. IF also has 2 cannons, which technically makes it on par with CC and BSB which can only bring 2 cannons to bear on one side. So it has pretty good firepower too. Its only shortcoming is its lack of minifigs. CC has a better crew. Also the hull of IF is too narrow to place cannons on both sides.

I think its quite impressive that you only used bricks from the set itself to rebuilt it, yet retaining all the features of the original dwarf mine like the slide, rail, lowering bucket, etc. I really like how the rails hang in mid air too. I too have a dwarf mine mod, but i used much more bricks than yours. Maybe I'll show it soon. Might have to borrow your hanging rail idea. Overall a great job modding the mine.

Finally, my crusader armies. Unlike the black falcon army which is very uniformed, the crusader army has variation in uniform and helmets, which is more likely in reality. Also, a shot of my tiny dragon and royal knight armies.

anything that is on-par with brickbeards bounty in terms of size and firepower should be fine with me. How can pirates have a bigger and more powerful ship than the imperials? it doesn't make any sense. the imperials are a army, can't they afford some decent ships?

the cutlass definately. Its the icon of the pirates theme. if not it would not appear on some pirate flags. also you often see pirates waving their cutlasses in movies too.

I must thank lego. I would definately buy one of this. I love collecting star wars jedi and sith minifigs. this makes things much easier for me.I would still buy at least one CW set though, the AAT. Its a nice set.

what a quaint little house! my only question is, why are the couple in their underwear? is meat tenderizing a sweaty job?
-
thanks for the comments nausi. you are right about the BF. I have been thinking of changing the blue shield ones to lancers for quite some time but just haven't got the time to dig out 16 brown spears for them. I'll get to it if I find the time.

Ah yes the dragon bardings... all I can say is that I got really lucky on ebay. Its probably my best buy to date. heres a shot of my entire crown army. not the biggest out there, but definately the largest lego army I have of any faction. It consists of, from the front: 16 heavy swordsmen, 32 swordsmen, 16 pikemen and 16 crossbowmen. I also have some auxillary troops that are not pictured here, they are busy guarding the castle and manning the siege weapons. This is just the army that the king can call on the attack his enemies.

wow that is one dusty and yellowed ship! Even my dustiest lego can't beat that! But that aside, I really look forward to seeing your ship restored to its former days of glory! Keep us updated!

a very nice ship indeed! The decals are very well applied, and the design of the sign seems very sturdy and sea-worthy. Any chance we can get to see the inside of the ship and see how the cannons are designed?

I was looking through some of the dacta town sets on bricklink, and I must say some of them are really a nice build, definately a good addition to any lego town. The hospital set has so much detail to it. A ward, a operating theatre, cafe, reception, all its missing is some consultation rooms. How many lego hospitals have such detail? All that praising aside, I have never seen most of the dacta sets before untill recently. I wonder why? Wish lego had released them on a wider scale.

Craghold Castle, a lengthy MOC (>1 year off/on)
TLV replied to brickzone's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
nice castle. I especially like the entrance. its very imposing and gives a sense of fear to those who enter. The fact that many parts of the castle is accessible is really cool too! -
Hi all, heres my black falcon and my dragon cavalry army.

nice moc! I really like the eagle. looks like a Bald Eagle to me, I would guess this moc depicts a scene in America.
