That looks like a very handy site, very clear and easy to use. Thanks for putting your effort into this. Do you have any plans yet on including retailers based outside the US?

Haha, nice one, I like it. There's truth in it after all. And I think it wasn't out of place in the town forum: "the world we live in", right? You're right. But it's called constructive criticism, not complaining

I would be interested in an outside shot of the whole building. Will it be just plain walls or are you planning on doing some more 'elaborate' facade and exterior details? Looking forward to all the apparatus and furniture you'll come up with!

Like Ricecracker and L@go, I think the studded roof looks actually really good and I would prefer it over a tiled one. I feel like sometimes people go a bit overboard with all the tiling, it's Lego afterall, so why not show it here and there?

What childhood names did you have for parts?

Did you ever try to tell her that? The reaction would be interesting I think -
Welcome to Eurobricks, looking forward to seeing your MOCs. As for tips, I don't know what you had in mind specifically. Check out the Tutorial Index when you have questions about something, you'll find a lot of useful stuff there. My personal advise: don't stick to one subforum exclusively but visit the other forums as well from time to time, otherwise you'll miss out on a lot of great stuff that is going on there. Also make sure to check the MOC index threads that are pinned in every sub forum, there are so many awesome creations there waiting to be discovered. And of course stick to the guidelines, staff around here is very thorough and that's a good thing.

Same here! We called them exactly the same, only there was no distinction between bricks with different width. So a 'four' could either be or , though I remember the latter was sometimes called an 'eight' (which of course could also mean this ) However, that problem was solved for plates, because any plate with a width of 1 stud (and longer than 2 studs) was called a 'bar' ('Stange' in German). I still catch myself sometimes using those names, then I realize they are so ambiguous and switch over to the offical naming pattern. -
I just noticed that too. It's a bit irritating, at first I thought the other tabs were gone. Only the currently selected tab is visible, the other three disappear.

Wonderful work cimddwc, I very much like the colors you used. With that few lines of dark green and grey mixed in, the white facade is a pleasure to look at. The details on the outside look great, too, there's just enough of them to make it stand out. And also very nice detailing on the interior, my favorite is the second floor. That design studio is a very creative idea, and a nice cross over into the friends theme and color palette.

Very unique idea you had for your MOC, that truck looks excellent
-
Very neat gas station, those fuel pumps are looking really good! And although it might be a bit strange for a gas station to have such an amount of brickwork, it certainly makes it look very interesting and gives it a more welcoming, less sterile look.

Very nice row of appartment buildings, they look like they could be standing in my own neighbourhood. I guess on the images you've put four identical buildings side by side, or is it all one building as a whole? Did you also do interiors?
-
That cadillac looks awesome, ER0L, very well done! Great work on the front, stacking those bricks loosely on each other is a simple, yet ingenious idea.
-
Very nice buildings, that narrow brown house looks lovely. Also a good example of a beautiful facade that is not overly complicated or decorated.
-
Well, people have already pointed out all the great details of your creation and how absolutely awesome it is. So I can just add my compliments to that. The amount of detail you put into the interior, right down to the office stapler, is mind-blowing. Fantastic work!

Nice work, the sloped roof is a very good idea and makes the building look quite interesting. You should expand it with additional garages in the future!
-
That's just wonderful, truly amazing! The school with the playground in the backyard is my favourite, reminds me of my own elementary school. I also like the way you did the roof on those apartment buildings. The blue and brown color scheme works surprisingly well, makes it all look like a very cold winter's day. Now I'm eagerly awaiting your Pumpkin Factory!

The park is a very nice addition to the street scene. And the fire truck is much better now, nice use of the car door piece! But the motor cycle looks a bit odd compared to the rest of the vehicles. To me it's giving more the impression of a snowmobile somehow...

Hi slientbob. So are you going to join the ranks of MOC creators? I hope you do! Have a fun time on Eurobricks, there's lots and lots to discover here.

TRU Germany is selling 8404 Public Transportation Station for 80€ at the moment in their online store. The offer seems to be available in Austria, too. Not a bargain exactly, but a good chance to get this discontinued set for a reasonable price if you haven't already done so. Shipping is only 3€.

Very nicely done, lots of interesting building techniques. Interiour is very detailed, too, I like it very much! But I agree witch cimddwc, the front should be convex instead of concave.
-
Yikes! Was hoping for a bit more, but better than nothing I guess
-
Scanning now... MEEP. Negative. I hope you're right, though. Could the gas pumps just be hidden at the back? Doesn't look much like it I guess...

That 50s vibe of your MOC is really a refreshing change, the more your street scene grows the more I love it. You're also doing a superb job with the stickers, they add so much liveliness (even though stickers are not my cup of tea in general)! And you totally have to do an actual tram at some point, please
