  1. Well shoot me an offer. Pics are up (Still need to find where one set is hiding)
  2. ...or the help me fatten up a down payment on a car...sale. Anywho, since finding another part time job is a wee bit tough now, I've decided to unload some lego sets I feel...slightly (but not really) comfortable with unloading. Alas. There are a few others I might sell if given a decent offer but I'd hang onto them otherwise (I love the Lego too much). Pictures will be up as soon as I can get them. If the set has stickers, they have been applied so be warned. Every set listed has the instructions. Prices don't include shipping but I don't imagine many of these going past 10-12 USD within the US. Offers will be welcomed. Photobucket album 7635: Horse and Trailer: 100 percent complete $20 6986: Mission Commander: I'd say about 95 percent complete. $90 7573: Battle of Alamut: 100 percent complete. $50 7571: Battle for the Dagger: 100 percent complete. $20 3180: Tanker: 100 percent complete. $12 5984: Lunar Limo: 100 percent complete. $20 1687: Midnight Transport: 100 percent complete. $25 6761: Bandit's Secret Hideout. 100 percent complete. $40 but this does not have the instructions, ugh. A couple others I could also let go... 6988: Alpha Centauri Outpost: 100 percent complete. 100. Has the box but I'd rather keep that (Pain to ship) 6987: Mission Intercept Base: 95 percent complete. 100. Has the box again but I'm fine with keeping it.
  3. +1 to Kenny for the great trade!

  5. Didn't really get Lego for Christmas so I'm making up for it now! There are a few large sets I'm looking at but if I can't decide with any of them, I might go for a couple of medium sized sets and call it a day, lol. 1. Lego 6086 Black Knight's Castle 2. Lego 6276 Eldorado Fortress 3. Lego 6082 Fire Breathing Fortress 4. Lego 6416 Poolside Paradise 5. Lego 6543 Sail and Fly Marina 6. Lego 6395 Victory Lap Raceway 7. Lego 6393 Big Rig Truck Stop I'm typically a big Town/Space person but there is always room in my heart for some of the other themes and hence why you have some castle and pirate. I just can't decide which one to go for...
  6. Hmmm, intriguing. Depends on the price.
  7. Strange because they had it 50% off at my Lego store. So yea, worth asking about.
  8. Don't know if it's all Lego stores or what but mine had the entire Prince of Persia series...and various other themes half off. Think I'll have to go back there tomorrow and snatch up a couple more things.
  9. Well the transparent pieces bag is almost 3 pounds so the incomplete minifigs and accessories would add almost nothing to the weight so 18-19 bucks for that. It's just that postage, sadly.
  10. Still waiting on the person who expressed interest in the tan/brown, white and green. Price is generally 6-7 per pound. The minifigs and various accessories that go along with them, I'm not sure about...yet. Throw out an offer and I'll think about it. No skeletons though, sorry. Had some at one time but sold them off.
  11. Waiting on someone else who expressed interest in the brown and green but if they're not up to it, sure. As for minifigs, from looking in the box, there are some space guys like Unitron, Blacktron and Space Police. There are also some pirates, a couple castle and some town. There are also some bodies without heads, alas. Oh and a ghost. Don't know how well it still glows but it's there. I'll fish them out and get some photos of those first later today after work.
  12. Sure. I realize I had less tan than I realized (Shows you how much I spent time with the bricks) but I got up those pics first. I'll get more photos up later today. Added another important color that I had somehow forgotten about too.
  13. So in the past year or so, I've amassed a lot of pieces. The intention was either to do some killer MOC's of my own or just fill in missing parts for sets that I bought off ebay so I don't have to bricklink them. Well...I discovered a couple of things. One that while MOCing was fun when I was a kid, I don't like it now and would rather just get the sets I love to play with. Second...I really have too many pieces. Weighing them all seems to come out to around 20-25 pounds but to make it easier, I had separated them by colors and a few other categories...I'll get pictures up but until then, I'll describe what I have. I'm located in America but can do international shipping if the interest is there. 1. White: Just what it says, white pieces. There are quite a few bricks and plates in there with a large variety of other pieces. Weighs a couple of pounds. Most of the pieces are in good condition, there may be a few yellowed ones but I think I took out all of them and banished them to another bag. 2. Red: Mainly just bricks and plates, all in great condition. There are also windows and doors in there. A bit tough to describe but there is a good deal of variety in there. Also some dark red pieces scattered about. 3. Black: Same thing, mainly bricks and plates but there are quite a few other special pieces in there including some castle wall corners and some castle railings (There's probably a better word for it) 4. Blue: Bricks and plates, good variety of pieces as well. Light blue pieces in there too. 5. Green: Plates and bricks and a whole lot of foilage. There are some small trees in there and a lot of plants. There are also some lime green pieces mixed in. 6. Orange: Just bricks 7. Brown: Some bricks but other pieces like a tree trunk (From the Indian sets), a canoe and large arch pieces that could serve as branches for a tree. 8. Yellow/Tan: Bricks and plates mainly. A ladder is in there as well. 9. Transparent: Oi...if you can see through it, it's in there. The main colors you'll see would be clear and trans dark but there is plenty of trans red, orange, blue, dark blue, green, yellow...that's about it. Also included are any doors or windows that have glass built in or the panes that you can take out and move to other pieces. 10. Printed: Usually pieces that have some sort of print on them. There's also an old pirate sail in there as well. 11. Unique/Minifigs: This is my smaller black Lego box with a bunch of unique pieces that seemed too special to just toss in with the other pieces. Includes minifig tools, some printed pieces, hoses and tubes, container boxes, animals, a ghost, gold coins...the works. Minifigs include classic town, space, pirates, castle...okay a little of everything! There are more bits and pieces but the pictures highlight the good stuff. 12. Lunar Launce Site: The old Spyrius base though this set is about...85 percent complete. Has the box and instructions. I mainly see this as yet another pieces bag. Baseplate is included too. 13. Rolling Acres Ranch: Half complete, whoo! Missing the minifigs, horses and the two vehicles but everything else is there, including the box, instructions, baseplates and Paradisa poster. I'm inclined to just keep it until I can bricklink the other pieces to complete it...and then sell it but maybe someone might want it. 14. Old Gray/New Gray: Mainly plates and bricks but there is again a variety of other pieces in there. Have a couple of those big rocky pieces if you're into those as well. 15. Chunky pieces: A rainbow of 2x whatever pieces. There are also a few yellowed pieces lying around but what you get is a bag full of those pieces, various colors. If the color is listed on here, it's most likely in this bag, except maybe tan and brown. 16. Wheels: Just what it says, wheels. Space style wheels, town and even some old castle wheels! No axles though, those are scattered around the various colors. Hoping to just get money for it, I want sets after all! If you want to do a trade for one of them or something, I'm sure we can work out something. Sets: 6086 6748 6398 6276 6763 6543 6378 Classic Town Space Some Castle, just ask. EDIT: As of right now, the following has been claimed already. If the deal falls through, they will be back up. 10. Printed Pirate minifigures and pirate related accessories. Blacktron figure Brown pieces Tan pieces Green pieces Gray pieces Black pieces
  14. I haven't thought much of this theme, thinking it a bit of a poor successor to Aquazone but this set? I am really impressed. First off, thanks for the great review, I always love to read detailed and thorough reviews like yours. Second, I really like the look of the temple, the new column pieces look really cool and while I don't MOC, I can't wait to see the talented MOC'ers find a use for them. I love the design of the sub as well. It's too bad it costs a bit but it seems worth it!
  15. Been too long since we've had an updated bank. It's a bit plain but if they want to go with a bank in an older style building, they can do that for the next Cafe Corner style set. I kind of like it. The police chase set looks cool, much better than the Town Jr one we had years ago. Would have been kind of cool if they would have some spike strips or barricades but you can just add that on yourself. Speaking of buildings we haven't got an update on a while, I wonder when we might get another motocycle dealer...or maybe an eventual car dealership?
  16. So at first I was inclined to say that the Elf was the best of the lot but having gotten a Space Villain/Cyborg today, I have to change my mind. I love the guy's torso, especially with the old Blacktron logo. Would have been real interesting with the original Blacktron logo but I think the Blacktron 2 logo works better. Also love the ray gun with the red laser beam!
  17. +1 to prozac for another stellar trade!
  18. Really hope the musketeer isn't the Zombie/Spartan/Elf of the collection because I really want one. I also love the new skater and the printed skateboard, I'm a sucker for those. While I'm not a big fan of it, I do agree that none of the figures seem like a bit of a throw in but each one seems worthy of getting a copy of!
  19. Okay since we used this thread for the first two series, I figure we can use it for the 3rd series too! I have: 1 Elf 2 Gorillas 1 Tennis Player 1 Hula Girl 1 Alien 1 Race Car Driver I want: 1 Fisherman 1 Punk 1 Roman Soldier 1 Zombie
  20. If anyone is curious in Colorado, I was able to find two boxes at the Toys R' Us in Westminster. I didn't have much in the way of time so I had to do my best to check the dots and yea, they are a bit tough to make out but I was also in a hurry. Out of the eight I want, I got 2 (Elf and the Baseball player). I also got 2 Hula Girls (Thought I was getting a Borg!) and a tennis player but they can be traded for figures I want. The elf is a real cool figure, I love how nice the printing came out on his outfit! If they want to keep doing fantasy characters, give us a fairy next time!
  21. I have a couple hula girls and a tennis player. All are opened.
  22. Anyone seen these in TRU in the US yet? If they come out just in time for Black Friday, I'm going to be so sad.
  23. The Professor's face really reminds me of Professor Calculus from Tintin. Dunno why, haha! Great review. It's nice for us to finally get an actual pyramid set. Love some of the touches they did with it, don't care much for the flying mummy...flying mummy, really? Great job on the review, love how well the pictures came out! Ugh on being 100.
  24. Wow, that is pretty young but that does sadden me quite a bit. It's such a wonderful site and it stinks not being able to say thanks for the hard work...
