4504 for pure classic awesomeness and playability but for realisticness and minifigure-scale-ness the UCS would do.

Hey, guys, have you considered that the 2,500 piece count in the Shuttle set may not necessarily be for the Shuttle? It could be a much smaller Shuttle... with a landing pad, perhaps, or something else of that style.

14-wide 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner
Raphy replied to Raphy's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Thanks everyone for the comments! "Did you design the car first in Lego Digital Designer (LDD), and then built it with real bricks? Is there any chance one could get your LDD .lxf file for this great MOC?" Sorry, designed it out of free hand, I don't bother with that new-fangled technology ;) -
'Sup guys, here's my first actual large-scale car. You might remember me as a great fan and builder of the Tiny Turbos line, but here I've made something bigger for a change. It was in the planning three months and being built one and a half :) I don't know if this is the right place to put this...? Here are the pictures. It has opening doors, hood and trunk and also features a hood prop, a fuel cell and NOS (Nitrous Oxide System) in the trunk. My older brother put the smoke on the first photo, so all credit for presentation goes to him please ;) More pics on my flickr photostream, just click on the pics to see more :D bai

Ughnauts* ;) Yeah, that would be cool but unless it's a really, really huge expensive set (say $199.99), I don't think they'll have them. Bespin Guards are almost certain, though. I'm surprised one or two didn't come with the newest Slave I. Use Gamorrean heads, they look almost identical. ;)

Well, how about setting your goal down to about 30-35 MPH? See if you can do that... then try for, say, forty. Then forty-five... and then fifty. One step at a time, man! :D If you're making a dragster, you know all the power in the back and hardly any up front, you almost certainly need to put a wheelie bar on the back. Otherwise, it'll simply flip somersaults. (You could use perhaps, ten pull-back motors for one axle. That might do it. Try winding it up, though... ;P)

No, just if I can - nevermind. I'm pretty sure I can whip up an entry so yeah, count me in. :] -
LEGO Prince of Persia Month - the Eurobricks Contest
Raphy replied to Svelte's topic in LEGO Licensed
All right, I'm in! However, I don't know for sure if there will be an entry from me. Will I be disqualified for that? I'm pretty sure, but not for sure, know mean? ;P -
Very nice tribute. I don't think he was a very good president, but it's still a terrible thing that happened.

...Polish mechanics are the best, it's a fact! :D

World Racers Summer 2010
Raphy replied to The Green Brick Giant's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Well, more serious TT connaisseurs tend to build their own which are a lot more detailed, professional and better quality than LEGOs', we only buy LEGO's TTs for the parts. And they come out with new parts in new colors on new designs every year. -
Patience, my young padawan, patience. ;)

Great review, man! I really want this set but I'll probably not be getting it ($80, even if you get 821 parts, is a little out of my range, especially given my age of twelve), I'll probably get Fight for the Dagger as it is basically just a smaller version of Battle of Alamut (comes with two less bad guys, a smaller "palace" and a camel) and costs fifty bucks less. :P How are you feeling? I've never been to a hospital before (which is surprising, given the crap I try sometimes, pardon my french), but it must be terrible, even now that you're out. Get well soon, man. :]

World Racers Summer 2010
Raphy replied to The Green Brick Giant's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
GAH I don't think I will EVER convince adult builders that there's a lot more to the TT scale than there looks to be. You would be amazed to see how many complex details you can pack in one. My friend recently made a TT muscle car with a rollcage in a space that was 4 studs wide and two plates high. Maybe less, I forget. They're not only for kids. -

I'll see you both in court. -
Amazing! Do you mind if I give a try at building a UCS official theme vehicle?

Hi! I'd like to whack someone, and anyone is free to whack me. :D My sig fig has Clone Wars Anakin hair, the Castle screaming face, a red torso and arms, and black pants. (left leg is from Kranxx/Snake/Slizer from the Space Police III line alien). Anything similar is fine! Oh, and I'm very sorry I couldn't provide a picture. I don't have one. :( Now, I'd like to offer some advice to the guys out there - don't whack on the girls. Girls are girls and should be respected, not whacked, 'kay Of course, why women's ice hockey was invented I dunno... I kid, I kid ;P

People are going to tell me when it's my turn to duel, right? -
This is one of my favorite movies ever... and you made the Leslie Special really well! I hated Leslie though. Professor Fate was so much cooler. ;P
