Eurobricks Raffle and Mystery Treasure Hunt
Raphy replied to WhiteFang's topic in Forum Information and Help
Yeehaw, found the Vampire, Pop Star, Skier and the Spartan, but the Cop, Witch and DJ still aren't on my list. Then again, I haven't looked very hard for the Witch or DJ, so I can't say. :P The Cop is outrageously hard though. :P -

Oh, that's just beautiful! Great work. :D -
See, now that's the kind of stuff I want to wake up to each morning. /non sarcastic :D Even though there's still Atlantis going on, I'd love to see a Water Planet theme, or something very similar.

General Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Discussion Thread
Raphy replied to Oswald the Rabbit's topic in LEGO Pirates
Well, actually, they are preparing a fourth film..... "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides", so yes, there is a reason for LEGO to release a Pirates of the Caribbean theme..... :D That said, I'll try to envision the sets. I think there'll probably be sets from all three films (and even the fourth one, perhaps, who knows - Prince of Persia LEGO sets were released before the movies' official release date!), like Indiana Jones, I think this will probably have more than one wave. Anyways..... here are some ideas /sits down on pillow cross-legged between scented candles and closes eyes Tia Dalma's Hut - $19.99 - Tia Dalma, Jack, Pintel, Ragetti, Will, Elizabeth, Gibbs and monkey minifigs Duel at the Bell Tower - $24.99 - Jack, Norrington and Will minifigs The Black Pearl - $89.99 - Jack, Will, Elizabeth, Pintel, Ragetti, Barbossa, Gibbs, monkey and Bootstrap Bill minifigs (By the way, I'm hoping for a new monkey mold! The current one would be too big :P) -

EPIIIIIC! I love you! So awesome. :D

I don't agree that Action themes don't last..... Space Police III, for example, is an Action theme and yet I'm sure it will become a classic building style much like Blacktron or Neo Classic Space in 20 years. Besides, people will never stop making MOCs for a certain theme..... so they don't really die. :)
-
Well, in my opinion, Neo Classic Space, Blacktron I and II and Space Police III are tied. ;P
-
We like them because we get more new torso prints, hair pieces, face prints, leg prints, etcetera, and we can use more pieces for more variety in our creations featuring them...... it gives the creation life, in a way. I however, like sets equally to minifigs if not more. :)
-
......because we will keep liking girls, fast cars, helicopters, missiles, spaceships and stuff blowing up until we die and beyond! WOOOOOO YEAH :D
-
Let's see, I don't collect a lot of themes but as far as I can remember I have bought/received sets from the following themes: Racers Space Police III Star Wars Creator Technic 4+ Atlantis Power Miners City :D ......and Bricklink. Dunno if that counts. ;P

Any Lego Racer and Creator fans out there?
Raphy replied to Brickd's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Racers is my favorite theme and Creator sets are pretty cool too, so yeah, there are :) -
Very well done! I love the metro station and the French signs. Alors, vous habitez en France? :D
-
Johnny Thunder 2? I would totally buy that. I really would. srsly
-
By far, better than TLG's version! :D
-
Very nice, but how about leaving some cheerleaders for the poor children who only want one? ;)

Have Action Themes Become Extreme?
Raphy replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Heck no! I love the new ones as much as the old ones if not more. I love action, I love stuff blowing up, I love helicopters with gatling guns battling Decepticons, I love ninjas, samurais, people somersaulting from skyscrapers with parachutes to land safely on the ground and start robbing a bank, I love awesome guys with laser katanas, jetpacks, and sixty-foot hover-Cadillacs .....on TV, at least. Yay for violence! ;) My mind is messed up. ;) Kidding. Mostly. I can't deny that the above can, sometimes, be very entertaining to watch. ;d But I have to disagree that TLG is getting violent..... in LEGO Star Wars, when in the real movies someone would get cold-bloodedly shot with a laser beam, in the LEGO versions people just have their little plastic heads fall off to the ground, where they look confused while their headless body walks around in circles looking for the head. It's comical; babyish, even. It's just not the same thing as violence. -
Personally, I'd love/cherish/adore another year of SP III. It's by far one of the greatest themes TLG has EVER made.

Big plastic transparent bin and a couple of other smaller boxes. Sorting is for wussies. ;)

^I agree, probably a Bespin Han. :) By the way, I'm the six thousand and first post! Yay! :D
