    Received one of my last BrickLink orders and did some modifications with the parts on some of my MOCs.

    Personally I like chrome only on exhaust pipes, and only on real life vehicles. I don't find the chrome parts on Technic models appealing. I prefer light grey like they have used on this model, I have no problem with it. But that's my opinion.

    33 second intro before we even get to see the loader. No offense, but - boring! Now that I think about it - are the pistons in the green engine the standard yellow? They look light green to me...

    I agree that there are some things in the design of this model that could have been improved, but I honestly don't see how it is "ugly". But that's me.

    I wonder if Volvo could have set some conditions regarding this model, for example resembling the real thing as closely as possible in every aspect, which could mean that the way the loader is, is how Volvo wanted it to be...

    I don't get all the negativity around this set. Personally I think it looks cool, and it has a good amount of red panels.

    Just noticed how many red panels the truck really has. I can count 8 5x11, 2 3x11 curved, 1 maybe 2 3x11 flat, + the 2 on the hood. I will definitely get this one!

    Off-topic, but I need an answer: Does the Black Tire 94.8 x 44 R Balloon (54120) fit to the Wheel 56mm D. x 34mm Technic Racing Medium (44772) ? I consider buying 2 of this tire, but I don't know if it fits to this rim. It's the same as on the Unimog, which I have, but I need rims anyway. I wonder if they fit together since the tire is just slightly bigger than the Unimog tire?

    This part is made in light grey too, without friction ridges. But with friction it's only been made in black, as far as I know.

    Today I built my own 42006 with parts from my inventory + BrickLink-parts I received yesterday and today. Among the parts I bought was the switch connecting the battery box and the L-motor. When it was finished, it was smaller than I imagined it would be. The size of the belts and the boom looks a little oversized compared to the upper body itself, but it looks alright.

    I make MOCs. I mostly modify existing sets that I have, but MOCing is the closest option.
