Well, my area's been socked with loads of the white stuff these past few days. Nearly 1ft I believe, but I didn't get any snow days. |-/ I think my school was probably one of the only ones open around here. :-D

Toyfair 2007 Bionicle Set Images
optimus-convoy replied to JINZONINGEN73's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Freaky new heads, as expected. I like that we're seeing more color in the figs. But why oh why did they change the arms! *sing* No shoulder clips = less MOCability. -
Well, it was more like a few days ago but, Vezon & Fenrak for a mere $25 Better than $30 I suppose. :-)

Toyfair 2007 Bionicle Set Images

- Toa Mahri - I have mixed feelings about these guys. Nice masks, good parts, but mostly I'm getting a so-so vibe from the sets themselves. *y* *n* - Titans - Pretty nice, I think I like Spinax & Maxlios best. Though they're bland in the color department. |-/ - Playsets - Intresting. Kinda like them, they give off a spacey aquazone vibe. -
Nice review. Very thorough and entertaining. *y* I must admit, you've made me think twice about the Sky Guardian. But still, I don't think I'll get it... unless I see a sale...

Looks cozy. ;-) I can't help but admire the sheer amount of games in that room. The collection of Lego both new and old only adds to the greatness! I wish, one day, I could organize my stuff like that. X-D

Nintendo in general. (Mario, Zelda, Metroid, etc. Like a Nintendo all-stars kind of thing.) Final Fantasy IV or VI (Machines, airships and epic bosses aplenty.) Katamari Damacy (One set: The Prince, a ball of random junk, and the King of all Cosmos creeping you out. X-D )

I like what I see so far. *y* (Minus the light house sticker door. |-/ ) Both seem good, but the Chum Bucket is probably the one I'll pick up.
-
Excellent animation! *y* That gives me the urge to do something like that myself.

Toa Inika: Pros and Cons Discussion
optimus-convoy replied to Lord Admiral Helden Ravensdorn's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Pros: Parts- some useful parts in good colors. Articulation- These guys can get in some nice poses. I'm a sucker of articulated figs anyway. X-D Cons: Masks- they look alright, but not as versatile as normal masks. Zamors- they're fun to shoot, but they're more of a burden really. Always falling out without modification. >:-( Overall, I really liked the Inika as sets. I actually still have my Hewkii & Jaller together. *y* -
Sounds like fun. I just thought up a good idea. ;-)

BIONICLE: Rewritten
optimus-convoy replied to Lord Admiral Helden Ravensdorn's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Interesting read, I like this twist of the Bionicle mythology so far. *y* -
Sounds like a great idea. I think the human pack could be done quite well. It could be a mini repair bay, and of course some random faced minifigs with new hair colors. ;-)

What do you want the next Exo-Force contest to Be?
optimus-convoy replied to dillthepill's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
A 1 on 1 battle sounds nice, but I voted alternate models. I just love those. >:-) -
Neat... Lego should just release a line that has some see-through figs in it. They'd make great elemental warriors, or aliens. *sweet*

Gotta agree with the boss difficulty in Twilight Princess, way too easy. In other ways, though, I thought it was one of the best Zelda games I've played. I think the key to a good Zelda game is the amount of detail, and exploration (Which I think Twilight Princess did very well. ;-) ) rather than battles. Although it would be great if Nintendo could up the battle difficulty in the next Zelda.

Hey, just beat Zelda the other day, and I thought I'd go the completest route. So, On the bug list, there's a pair on the fourth row, in the middle column, where the heck are those two? Oh, and can you max out your bombs anymore than 60 regulars? Thanks in advance. :-)

Summer 2007 Bionicle set names!
optimus-convoy replied to Zaktan of the Shadows's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Oh lord, chain guns... :-D The new Toa actually look pretty nice, and unique enough to buy a few. Also those canisters look like they could be used to make a nice battle arena or something. The play sets seem alright, and much more vehicle oriented. I could take or leave them Now the titans, they look best of all. Especially Gandunka, and Maxilo & Spinax. *y* *y* -
Got the Nitro Intimidator 8682 a couple days ago. (50% off! X-D ) Today, Thok and Garan. (Both 50% off! X-D ) I love after Christmas sales. *wub* They also had the other $15 Exo-Force mecha, Gate assault, some Piraka (lots of brown), some matoran (more brown), holiday items, and some others. I'm not sure on the specials.
