Very nice use of the new tank treads there. It goes well with the old style wheels. And the steam... makes it all the more steampunk. ;-)

What game are we playing at the moment?
optimus-convoy replied to Mr Hobbles's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Well, I just finished Mother 3 for the GBA a while ago. (Great game, *wub* even if your not fluent in Japanese.) Other than that I've been playing Final Fantasy IV, Pokemon Diamond, Final Fantasy VI, and Secret of Mana on and off until I can afford Super Mario Galaxy, Zelda DS, and Metroid Prime 3. *wub* -
I celebrate Halloween. Not a major holiday for me, but still fun nonetheless. Though it was more of a big thing when I was younger. With the costume and the trick or treating. *wub* These days I usually just pass out candy or whatever. (We usually go through about four bags around here. *wacko* ) As for bad Halloween stories, When I was maybe 7 or 8, I once walked up to one of those houses where the people were out. So they left this bowl of candy on the lap of their stuffed scarecrow with a sign saying "take only one" or something like that. So I, of course, tried to take more than one when the "stuffed" scarecrow leaped out at me! That was seriously freaky... :-D

Um... no. |-/ The ice cube tray was pretty neat, the cupcake tray was alright, but this... This is where I draw the line. >:-( That is some serious fail right there. |-/

Finally got my hands on the DVD yesterday. *wub* Haven't had a chance to watch it though. (damn homework |-/ ) Well, apparantly dino bots as well as Destructicons (or were they Constructicons? look.gif ) were promised forthe second movie with Bonecrusher coming back as a bulldozer or somthing. Not sure how exatly how there going to pull of the dinobots, but again, it will be interesting to see. I think they could try something like what was done in the comics, where the dinobots/dynobots ended up on Earth millions of years earlier, end up with dino forms, and become encased in earth until present. I doubt it. Thats a problem that somelse brought up about starscream. Theywere upset cause he wasn't his trade mark red/blue/silver color sceme. Even in bot form. But that just wouldn't have looked good. A silver F-22 andthen all of a sudden he's blue and red in bot form? Same for sound wave.Lets say he was a millitary Hummer comunications truck with either a desert, or tradional camoflage paint sceme. To all of a sudden have a bunch of blue apear when he's in robot form just wouldn't make any sence. I think this is one of the main reasons Starscream wasn't his trade mark colors. There just aren't any fighter planes used today that have thoses colors. So enless Soundwave is a an import car, or SUV with a huge stereo i don't his colors working either. I will however agree, that making the characters more reconisable makes them a bigger hit with the fans. This was one of the big problems that the G1 fans had with Starscream. Though i thought he hadone of the best bot forms, i can see the fans point on this. Like i said, this willbe intersting to see the outcome. They could go plenty of different ways with Soundwave, but I hope they go for a more urban communications vehicle. Like a big van or even a small truck. I'm lovin that Longhaul. *wub* Too bad it's not real though. :-( I can only imagine how Devastator would work out. X-D

Gotta go with the mysterious flying vessel. It just radiates steampunk to me, also nice use of the rock raider cages. *y*

They definitely seem better than this years canister fair. The villains seem alright; menacing but not over the top, marble launcher chests. Not too exiting though. The Toa Nuva have me more interested though. They seem like stable figures on their own. As far as the homages go, these are alright, but without the names attached or knowing who they're supposed to be, I wouldn't guess them to be our "beloved" Nuva. That being said, I'll probably get some of these, most likely Pohatu with his heli/claw arms.

Looking great so far. *y* Those minifigs are looking real good. *wub* Seems like a decent set as well.

Thanks guys. :-) I dunno, guess I've ended up with a lot of them during the years and wanted to see if they could go into a MOC well. The eyes? Photoshop. ;-) If you mean the helmet, it turns out they fit perfectly on one of those aviator caps with the goggles on.

Feels good to finally get a MOC in amongst all the homework, video games, life, and laziness I've been sorting through lately. :-D So without further ado, Berzerkertek A prototype warrior mecha built mainly for siege and mass destruction missions. Side Back Inside the Head It's got a new toy! Sneak Attack SuperHappyGalleryFunTime! :-P Enjoy. ;-)

:-D Nice work Hinckley, great job on the head. *y* And yes, I got the ice cube tray a couple weeks ago actually. It's been serving me well since. :-)

Very nice! I'm lovin that rocket, and finally, a Sandy minifig. That spacebob could also be useful as well. I just may break down and get it.

Funny, I don't remember my Wii taking that long to assemble. :-D Kinda neat how the words in the beginning, inovation, compatability, and fun, can be applied to both Wii and Lego.
-
I actually remember it being on the air frequently in the mid/late 90's. But alas, I haven't seen in on air in a while. *sad* Oh well, there's always the DVDs or YouTube. X-D

The origin of my title comes from the fact I sometimes get bored easily, and create things from pipecleaners. :-D
-
Why it's Otto the Automatic Entertainer of course! :-P One of the few Robo-Muppets I could find. X-D
-
You people and your Muppet avatars... Insanity I say! *sing* Oh great, now you've got me doing it too. X-D
-
Impressive. It's just one of those MOCs you could stare at for a long while and still find something new. *wub* I especially like how theres multiple goings on all around. Makes it very interesting.

"This... is... Eurobricks!" as he kicks the rancor into a nearby pit. He then uses his admin powers to back-up the board and all of it's members.

Chuck Norris vs. Conan O'Brien: YouTube inspired Vig
optimus-convoy replied to SirNadroj's topic in Special LEGO Themes
:-D Awesome vig. *y* The Norris minifig is spot on. Although as previously stated, Conan needs one of these: Still, it's a great vig even if his hair is tame. *y* -
I just love my FireFox. *wub* It provides web access at a nice speed with plenty of add-on options, and none of the annoying security issues I've had with IE.
