Life on Mars redux... :-/ Not really what I wanted to see from space this year. I really like the driller, but the rest I could take or leave. I just hope this somehow leads to a classic space esque moon base/colony theme. (Yeah right. X-D )

Happy New year to all, and to all a good night!

Transformers Lego will remain one of my ultimate fantasies. If done right, it could be quite amazing. Here are some good examples of the potential.

Went to the Lego store with Christmas money in hand today. Got Brudaka, 8270 Technic Rough Terrain Crane, and the Grand Titan (50% off ;-) ).
-
Thanks for the insight. :-) Mantax doesn't look so bad after all, he's probably my second choice now.

To everyone here, I wish you all a safe and happy Christmas! :-)

I love this new direction Castle is going in. That army of the undead just looks fantastic. The skeletons, the new horses and all the new weapons... *sweet* This is definitely a step in the right direction for Castle. *y*

optimus-convoy replied to ApophisV's topic in General LEGO Discussion
My current avatar + santa hat = My Christm'ified avatar. Cheers everyone! :-P -
Well by what seemed to be a miracle, I've finally acquired a Wii! :'-) And here's my friend code: 0242 5351 0554 8097. You were all added BTW. ;-) Ohhhh, can't wait till winter break. :'-)

I grew up, and live in Oak Park, IL. It's a nice little suburb just outside of Chicago.

What do your friends/family think of your hobby?
optimus-convoy replied to Brainbox's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Most of my family just accepts it and they don't really say there's anything wrong with it. (They have been dealing with it for 13+ years now. :-P ) Many of my friends are nerdy themselves, so they have no right to judge. X-D They sometimes even partake in a little Lego joy themselves. ;-) -
After a failed Wii search, I bought a Cyclone Defender and the $20 Mosaic set to console myself. It really helped. X-D

Wow... here do you live? Because just spent my mourning going to 5 stores and didn't find a single one! :-D Oh well... I guess I'll just go and wait in line at Target next Sunday at 7:00am. :-D

Those hippies don't even know what they're talking about, they've been messing with this stuff way too long.

MOC: #8100 "Cyclone Defender" alternate (sort of)
optimus-convoy replied to Morgan19's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Nice MOC. *y* It gives off a cool sneaky assassin vibe. -
Why don't we just file down those spikes before anyone gets hurt. ;-)

Just check the sig, need I say more? X-D But yeah, I'm getting a Wii. Mainly because it just has and will have so many quirky innovative games, yet can still deliver a hardcore experience, it's actually affordable, and doesn't push HD.

:-/ ... I gotta give credit to Lego for making the canister sets more unique this time, but most of the Barraki come off looking too thin for my tastes. Though from a MOCer's standpoint, these things are chopped full useful robo claws, viking horns, light covers, nice socket joints, silver weapons, and heads to be put in strange places. I think I'll wait for more, and better photos before deciding but either way, I think I'll at least get Kalmah.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you... Cold Fusion Cold Fusion is the latest technological breakthrough from the Exo-Force team. It combines the latest in mecha technology with organic elements to produce a living, breathing crime against nature. Cold Fusion comes fully loaded with a steel mace, movable fusion cannon, shoulder-mounted missile launchers dual laser guns and a creepy tentacle arm. The biomechanical guidance system allows for total pilot-integration, and controls completely by the pilot's mind. However, there is a downside to this innovative control scheme. Due to the organic fusion this mecha gained a personality, and only accepts pilots it likes. This is Cold Fusion's pilot, Aya. She's a very colorful individual, and a very gifted programmer. She worked as an intern through Cold Fusion's design process. During that time Cold Fusion grew a strange attachment to her. After a few sad test pilot attempts, it just grabbed her and wouldn't let go. They've been bashing robots ever since. X-D

Hey people, Just thought I'd say I've completed my spur of the moment entry, but I won't be able to post pics till midday deadline day. Hope that's alright. ;-)

For Bionicle, since Axonn is mysteriously missing from this ballot, |-/ I chose Lava Chamber Gate. It has a nice selection of system and Bionicle parts and the minifigs are really great. *y* Unlike bdd, I just love the Super Nova, I think it's really the best official Exo-Force mecha design thus far. Battle At the Pass seems pretty good with all the figs and such.

My favorite would have to be that Lego Monty Python Clip from Spite Your Face. Accually, all their Lego videos are pretty great. X-D

Nice blog idea. *y* Can't wait to see more from MicroBricks. :-)
